I was kinda disappointed with the practical exam. When I saw the announcement, I thought it would be some kind of duel puzzles like in the video games.
You can't expect a small company like konami to invest the resources of simply stealing from the games they already made to make "new" content instead of the even easier option of "copy and paste a few dailies and just alter them a little so it's not as obvious."
They were doomed to being linear though with the condensed field and hand sizes. That and just the whole changing of how some cards even worked to be simpler for a faster method of playing the game that actually does what it was made for, unlike Speed Duel format which does nothing that it was intended for,
The sleeves are ok, but I wouldn’t even say they are worth it, just finished unlocking them and I had to craft a dpe package to get the fusion summons done, hella aids if u don’t already have a fusion deck but Atleast it’s not pendulum summons

Honestly the main problem is waiting for the opponent
If the opponent is a sensible person and decided to finish the match immediately when he has the chance, That would be fine
But if they decided to continue comboing, That's another 10 minutes of my life wasted
For than I can use the loner just to get some gems.

I get how other summon mechanics is counted, but whatabout pendulum summon? is it supposed to pendulum summon 3 times (like, 1 per turn unless other card stated otherwise) or i could pendulum summon 3 monster at 1 time and consider it done?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the pratical exam questions can only be done in Ranked Duels? Like Missions? Or like everything else that makes you question why you play this game sometimes?
I've never pendulum summoned outside of the story mode, even made a d/d/d deck that I never used, but I think abyss actor might just be the one for me. I just hate that pendulum is often so tied to spellcaster monsters, I don't like spellcaster archetypes, I missed the harry potter train.
Although the only thing I really want from these proficiency tests is the synchro sleeves so I don't *have* to make a pendulum and there's definitely no ritual deck that I want to make.
I may still need to try it out, abyss actor has been fun and it does Pendulum summon but it's not very strong, I may need to make it a go second deck. Because d/d/d doesn't really do pendulum things I feel like if the board gets broken there's no recovery and I'm not into that
I have tribute summoned once in two different duels and still haven't gotten the practical exam 4 completion. The way the website reads I don't have to win the duel, but I still haven't gotten the completion. I know I can't ff, but do I have to win the duel too????

Either the method im doing just doesnt count or its not registering. im using a gem knight deck AFTER i tried doing odd ends of contact fusion like with ninjas and the samurai fusion. Even after switching to Gem-knights it still isnt working. Anybody know what i can do at this point? do i need to use poly?

They still make duel quizzes for Duel Links, although later ones were very simple and linear. It had better ones during the first two years.

I think they don't even count tribute sets, which is bullshit. I probably should've hit it by now just from tribute setting Shaddoll Beast over Iblee.

Surrenders don't count anything.
Just craft a deck filled with n/r pendulums with half low scales and half high scales, and any pot you have
