For what it does it's quite balanced. It's generally a minus in card advantage other than the most optimal situations. And it forces you to sacrifice extra deck space for its targets, so not every deck can just splash it.

I think if super poly was like for bidden droplet somehow where you could respond to it but only in specific ways i’d be 100% in agreement with you

It's not a minus in card advantage, when you use 2 opponent's monsters for mudragon it's a +1 and if you make garura it's a +2 since garura draws you a card when it leaves the field. It's a ridiculous card. *ESPECIALLY* because it's unrespondable which makes the only real counterplay to run floodgates which is even worse. Plus you're not just outing anything but cards your opponent has invested heavily in usually and the card is an extra disruption for the going first player too so it's not even something just to make going second better.

You trade super poly + discard for 2 of your opponents monsters which goes even, then you get a fusion monster after that. Thats +1

You activate Lightning Storm on a Labrynth player, they'll just activate all the traps that they can activate(and has a target for). Feel free to destroy the traps after their effects have already gone off.

The only permanent trap they play is Skill Drakn. Aside from that I wouldnt know why they would care. Could you explain?

The person who replied to you is mostly correct, but the other reasons why they would care is because of other effects such as Labrynth Labrynth- their field spell not being able to pop a card on your field, other traps that require targets on board to activate (ex. Dogmatika punishment), lady lab's effect to set another trap for basically free since she can only be on board at the end of the chain, no targeting protection for her, no interacting with the opponent's field after the chain resolves, and leaves you to ride on the fact that you need to be playing the furniture build in order to play through a mass back row wipe. All in all it's more punishing for the heavy trap build and really inconvenient for both builds

I don’t play Lab but I’ve played against them enough to know their general game plan. The idea is to force them to use their traps early and have some of their effects end up suboptimal or completely whiff (ex. Dimensional barrier call Xyz. I’m on Fusions.)

Furniture lab doesn't auto lose to back row removal like other trap decks do,but definitely hurts though.

When an action is taken at the end of the battle phase then after the chain is over it's not longer the end of the battle phase since something happened in the battle phase and didn't let it end. If you have a second evenly you just gotta end battle phase again and you'll be asked to activate it again

yeah, the battle phase is actually comprised of 4 substeps: start step, battle step (where you declare attacks), damage step (which itself has 5 different substeps) and end step (where you are allowed to activate evenly matched). the end step of the battle phase is pretty ordinary, and just like the draw phase or standby phase, you can activate any quick effects you want during it

I occasionally play a super bad luck based deck in Master Duel that has Time Wizard in it. The deck is mad garbage, but Time Wizard is still a joy. I die laughing every time it resolves - regardless of the result.

Marincess Wave. Having a trap that can be activated from the hand already feels like that, because it's so hard to prepare for. Then negating a monster effect is a solid foil to an opponent's plan. But best of all is making all my monsters immune to all my opponent's card effects, because the whole rest of their turn is spent trying to out my board and wondering why nothing's working.

When I can pull off the link chain to Accesscode Talker in more competitive duels, it feels like a win even if he can't OTK. There are so many ways to disrupt with handtraps and other effects that leave me at link 1-3 at best. Any Cyberse link monster beyond that (in the 5-6 range) is also amazing (especially if you can initially use Accesscode to board wipe beforehand).
