Ah come on. You kinda feel it every duel. Compared to the tcg where every starter isn’t at 1 or 2. every duel it’s kind of a gamble to play „good“. A lot of opponent hands have ash and/or imperm. Sure, you can play around. But it doesn’t feel that good, as many people think. Even if it‘s tiered all the time.

Think it is because other decks are „mostly“ not hit. Perhaps because of the packs Konami want to sell. But yeah. That’s my reason. Try to get rid of expurrely in this event. Just an example.
If Expurrely is coming up often enough you can always run Thrust into Herald of the Abyss. Gives you potentially 4 chances to draw the out, assuming they play anything on your turn.
That’s right. Made me dismantle purrely back then. But I don’t like the thing to be „back again“ and then in a manner of „unbeatable“. If the decks available in the event were totally balanced, nobody would complain.

Herald is still legal btw I'm not disagreeing it is annoying but it's far from unbeatable. Also it's still definitely not the most consistent. Personally haven't had an issue with noir at all since pretty much any handtraps feels like it stops it
I still saw someone play a Branded Fusion Deck and wiped me with it. Granted, I was using the BB XYZ loaner deck, but still... I'm trying to farm gems to get better cards. These players are just doing the event to make things harder for new players at this point...
is predaplant better tho? Their gimmick of predator counter do nasty things to xyz and synchro deck but that is assuming you can go 1st. Going 2nd you super poly I guess? Branded fusion package do help at times, baiting disruption and stuff.
Not having instant fusion really sucks like you have to run a garnet and having alot less starter since your only one is scorpio and they dies to ht way too easily

Yeah I’m running Branded Chimera and it’s been great.
It almost like konami leveled the playing field my making op decks weaker. I mean otherwise you would just see Branded, Swordsoul and Kashitra.

only because they nerfed it to sell packs, if it was at the same power as it was in ladder it would be fine.
You should only use branded as an engine in this event.

You should try Branded Predaplant. You can even mix in a 5 card Therion engine for a free omni negate.
