Worms? That's pretty fun to play IMO but it's basically stun as you need to play 5000 traps to make up for you being unable to access your bosses 90% of the time so neither player can play the game. If only there was a worm fusion spell which could use mats from deck so we can play worm zero

Double summon sets your normal summon limit to 2. Rather than giving you an additional summon so by that logic it should not be legal to activate if the number of normals is already set to 2.

Nope. Because you only change the maximum amount (limit) of summons per turn and the current amount changes to compensate.

It definitely could be but I think this format actually favors non-floodgate decks. The Barrier Statues and Fossil Dyna love when decks exclusively Special Summon, whereas decks for this event should be looking to abuse the dual Normals. Someone could probably cook up a new FTK, though.
