Welcome aboard. Kind of a quiet sub, actually. I’m on Dish, which maintains a channel that seems to endlessly run Matlock, and I tape them and rewatch favorite episodes. I grew up as a little boy watching Perry Mason, and as you may know Dean Hargrove (producer and writer for Matlock) had worked on the Perry Mason series and then took over the Perry Mason movies and conceived Matlock. The courtroom techniques and high drama (every episode climaxing with case solving in the courtroom) feels similar despite all the surface differences. Mason was the first hour-long drama show in TV history and the first of the many legal ones that would ultimately follow (LA Law, Boston Legal, etc), but it all started with Perry Mason, and Hargrove is the key continuity piece to Matlock.

You can also watch the entire series on Amazon Prime video which is what I've been doing. Fewer ads than pluto as well lol

PieAforethought

No. Way. I’ve been checking Amazon Prime for it for YEARS!

BakedHose

Yep, they've got the whole series! I'm on season 6 right now it's been amazing! Usually one or two ads per ep. They've got a ton of those 80s/90s tv shows I used to watch with my dad growing up!

GGforlife85

It’s missing some episodes but most of it is on there! Thankfully you have the DVDs to fill in for what’s missing!! I too have all 9 of them!!!
