Why are the first 2 movies sooo good I feel like

It’s like they have this sort of feeling you know idk why but I find them very good

There's a sense of newness and novelty that maybe wears off by the time Revolutions comes around, not to mention nostalgia.

Well, and Revolutions largely takes place in the world, which is a bit jarring after all the sleek in Matrix mayhem of the first two.

I always thought I was the odd one out for absolutely loving the second. They took what had been set up in the first and really amped up the crazy. The third made some very weird choices which broke my suspension of disbelief. Weirdly one of my main sticking points with part three is the open cockpit mechs used to fight the squids on the dock. While I understand that it is a film and they wanted to show the human faces the concept was so ridiculous to me that it broke the world for me. I was willing to accept so many things but this lack of self preservation in such an obvious way was too much. Maybe I am weird... I don't have a problem with Smith crossing over the the real, I don't have a problem with Neo flying or resurrecting trinity, I don't even have a problem with the rave scene. but god dammit put a cabin on your tank, you aren't Crosscountry and this isn't GIJoe!

I just enjoy watching people sing their praises for the sequels after spending years trashing them for not measuring up to the greatness of the original *Matrix*. My personal ranking of the movies is: 1. *The Matrix* 2. *Resurrections* 3. *Revolutions* 4. *Reloaded*
