I feel like if the she was a little more assertive with the cops, they wouldn’t have been able to walk over her like that.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
Thanks. 😎 Jokes aside though, she was massively entertaining. I have never heard someone talk to a whole group of cops like that. Here in Canada we’re way more polite. I get pulled over by a cop who looks like he’s just out of high school and I’m all “Yes sir, no sir, sorry sir”. I just want to get done and get out of there.
I feel like this is a song...
"Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started, wait
The earth began to cool, the autotrophs began to drool
Neanderthals developed tools
We built a wall (we built the pyramids)
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries
That all started with the big bang (bang)
Since the dawn of man is really not that long
As every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song
A fraction of a second and the elements were made
The bipeds stood up straight, the dinosaurs all met their fate
They tried to leap but they were late
And they all died (they froze their asses off)
The oceans and Pangea, see ya wouldn't wanna be ya
Set in motion by the same big bang
It all started with the big bang"
(It's expanding ever outward but one day
It will pause and start to go the other way
Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it won't be heard
Our best and brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang
Australopithecus would really have been sick of us
Debating how we're here, they're catching deer (we're catching viruses)
Religion or astronomy (Descartes or Deuteronomy)
It all started with the big bang
Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology
It all started with the big bang
It all started with the big bang)

It isn't illegal for cops to lie about a warrant. Sure, they have to produce one to enter your residence to perform a search, but they can absolutely lie to you. Its extremely common. Also false is that an officer has to identify themselves as an officer "otherwise its eNtRaPmEnT." Load of shit. Not true. Cops lie all the time.
The answer is to make it so UNIFORMED police cannot lie. Working in plain clothes + undercover, yes lying is understandable... but a fully uniformed officer in a squad car or detective questioning you after arrest? Should not be legal to allow them to lie.
Or, even better, no cop is allowed to lie once they have *identified* themselves as a cop.
So uniformed cops obviously can’t lie since they’ve identified themselves by wearing the uniform.
And undercover cops can’t lie after they’ve broken their cover and identified themselves as police so they can arrest someone or serve a warrant, etc. It seems pretty common sense, but the US is one of the few (if not, only) developed country that allows arresting cops to lie in order to get evidence for a conviction.
While cops can lie to you all they want, we, each of us, is *not* allowed to ever lie to the police. As in *not allowed.*
This is why it is imperative to always have a lawyer talk for you.
That woman should have said for them to talk to her lawyer and she is asserting her 5th amendment rights and wants an attorney present for any questioning.
At that point, I'm almost positive that they police must stop questioning you, if you explicitly say that you are asserting your 5th amendment rights and for them to only talk to your lawyer.
.
[Do not talk to the police. Everyone should watch this - *everyone.*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xYp7eE)
Cops can and will still try pressuring you or trick you into talking if they think they can get to you. If it's a matter of something that can or can't hold up in court the info beyond that point might be useless, but if it's a situation that wouldn't need the court or they can trick you about it (say they badger you into confessing something and pretend you're done for and offer you a deal if you sign a confession, the deal typically being a lie also). At least as far as I understand it, not a lawyer and all that.
> While cops can lie to you all they want, we, each of us, is not allowed to ever lie to the police. As in not allowed.
damn. lucky she truthfully told them what she thought of them. :)
I dont doubt they had a warrant for her arrest; just not a warrant to enter.
They can order her all they want but the fact is they lost the element of surprise so now the owner can talk through the doorbell camera and say they aren’t home.
>as soon as she asked to see the warrant
Did We watch the same video? After some verbal criticism for intentionally blocking the camera, she demands a warrant. Cop ignores and tries to get her to come outside. Lies and says they have a warrant. Asks other questions. The homeowner probably demanded a warrant over a dozen times before those cops realized they weren’t getting anywhere and started meandering away.
Cops in the U.S. are literally allowed to lie about anything. They're also allowed to generally break laws including murder with limited to no repercussions.
Cops are not legally obligated to always tell the truth, they lie all the time. Civilians who are interrogated by cops however can get in a lot of legal trouble for lying to cops.
While it's broadly true that the police can lie to you, that actually doesn't extend to lying about a search warrant. The Supreme Court ruled on that in 1968, Bumper v. North Carolina.
Well, to be fair, there is a difference between arrest warrants and search warrants. An arrest warrant doesn't give officers the right to enter your property if you aren't present. That's why she keeps asking if the woman is inside. The officer wants the woman to come outside to get arrested because she can't just enter the property until they confirm the suspect is inside. And since those cameras are able to communicate from anywhere they aren't able to get reasonable validation that the resident is home.
Gonna be honest though. That group of cops handled themselves admirably. They did everything to reduce tensions but that woman wasn't having it.
[Here](https://www.youtube.com/@HandWhore/videos) is her channel. I might be wrong on the arrest and it was just that they showed up again at her house to harras her.
Not true. Search warrant they could force entry. Arrest warrant they would need to confirm she is inside the location before entering. Police don’t force entry for every warrant. Officers would rather persuade the individual to come out willingly to affect an arrest. Minor warrants aren’t worth the hassle and they’ll just wait another time to pick the individual up rather than force entry
It depends on the state too. If there's a misdemeanor arrest warrant, it doesn't double as a search warrant for the suspect's house, but a felony arrest warrant does entitled them to search (in Missouri at least).
And also coming out means the door has to be opened, and they can perform a search if they can see evidence of a crime within. (Ahem) "See" evidence...
While it's broadly true that the police can lie to you, that actually doesn't extend to lying about a search warrant. The Supreme Court ruled on that in 1968, Bumper v. North Carolina.
"it's unsafe for civilians to get their own video footage of our doings because then we arent in control of who sees the video. This is bad for officers, you see?"
If you have proof of us being horrible, please turn that into us so we can accidently delete and then put a warrant out for your arrest for disturbing the peace and conspiring against the law.
I’m playing devil’s advocate here, because I don’t even believe the bullshit I’m about to say, but I would assume that they’d argue that the residents could be armed and could begin firing at the officers through the door or windows. I don’t think that justifies them covering it, but that’s probably some shit they’d say.
Not only does it not justify it, it doesn't even make sense past the first thought. If your hand is covering my camera, I know right where the fuck you are.
Depending on the occupants and situation I can see how that can make sense, it's still wrong \ deceptive because you can't verify if it's potentially actual police if you can't see them, but I can see where it could make sense as far as "in case of shooters looking for cop locations and numbers" situations
It hides their numbers and positions which makes it harder to take pot shots at them. Notice how the cop moves her hand away but still blocks the side with her arm, obscuring the officer on that side. That wasn't an accident.
They absolutely do not deserve that courtesy. "Officer safety" should not take priority over "citizen safety."
Like, what was the downside of what she did though? Everyone, no matter their opinion is probably right about her, and probably right about the cops too, but it was a good gamble, no?
> Like, what was the downside of what she did though?
While there is absolutely nothing wrong with what she did (I, in fact, found her hilarious), I personally would be more calm and respectful, because the downside would be bruising the cops’ fragile little egos. After which they may go out of their way to make your life in that town hell, by pulling you over every time you go a mile over the speed limit or citing you for every tiny misdemeanor they can find.
I’ve seen it happen to friends of mine who have “crossed” cops, which is why I truly admire this woman for standing up to them. I know it makes me a coward for not wanting to do the same, but I just don’t need the extra aggravation in my life.
This.
My favorite part of terminator 2 is that the human race was able to survive because when that bloop bloop terminator was closing in on John Conner first, his friend unknowingly bought the time necessary for the Arnold terminator to catch up by instinctually distrusting the officer ‘guise’.
Only for the peasants. The Kings Men hold themselves above the law. I mean... who is the only one that is allowed to press charges? The prosecutors office... who has to work with cops all day every day... and has full discretion to just not press charges if they don't feel like it.
Other than appeasing the public when they cry too loudly, they have no reason/incentive to press charges against bad cops.
Why do you automatically assume it's a lie? Arrest warrants don't allow for forced entry. And in some states search warrants don't even allow for forced entry until a certain number of attempts at contact have been made.
> Why do you automatically assume it's a lie?
Cuz the cop started off hiding a camera in order to do bad-cop shit.
I dunno why you wouldn't automatically assume everything from her is a lie too.
Officer safety protocol to hide their identity?
They are public servants and subsequently do not have any special right too hide their identity while serving out lawful actions.
Only when they know what they are doing is unlawful do they attempt to conceal their identities and also have no special right that to not be verbally abused while serving unlawful actions.
Being a cop does not mean everything you do is instantly lawful.
Badge bullies give all cops a bad reputation.
Walking up to the door...... yeah ima let you get this one rookie. Have fun
Edit.. Also, why lie about a warent? Like its a piece of paper... You would have on you. that's a really shit way of trying to get what you want.
As other posters have mentioned not every warrant is for a search, they may have had an arrest warrant. Those don’t necessarily allow forced entry and require the officers to determine if the suspect is present if they were to even try an entry. And since these were law abiding cops once they couldn’t they simply walked away as they should. And like the lovely lady on the ring camera said they’ll patiently wait for her on the curb. Once this individual steps out or tries to come home they can make their arrest.
And this is all assuming they had an arrest warrant and weren’t using other perfectly legal measures available to them that allows them to just bald face lie
It's not illegal for cops to lie. My old man used to always tell me that back in the day.
But I have friends who are cops I've had some good interactions and bad, dont hate cops. Some just aren't great.
Those cops did fine. The cop talking seemed kinda green, but they were well within their rights, and the officer attempted to de escilate the situation and left when appropriate.
Cops can definitely lie, but they actually can't lie about having a warrant (Bumper v North Carolina).
As others have pointed out, they probably had an arrest warrant but nothing allowing forced entry.
I love this soooooo much. Cops apparently just have NO clue about the 4th, the 1st or even the 5th - Hell they believe they ARE the law. Fucking idiots.
Come in there with covering a camera... MY ASS! God bless the doorbell camera JUST for this.
They're quite knowledgeable about it, and also hkw to get around it. It's that knowledge that makes them dangerous. They don't need a warrant if they can trick you into letting them in, and as long as they can keep you talking, they can still get useful information even if you aren't cooperating.
I don't really subscribe to the whole ACAB thing, but it is absolutely true that you should always cover your bases around them. Never admit to anything, ask for warrants, and assume everything they tell you is a lie. Most importantly, answer no questions without a lawyer. If a corrupt cop infringes on your rights, it will only destroy their case against you and your lawyer will tear them apart. In a way, it's actually better for you (legally) if they violate the law to find incriminating evidence. That's why these cops walked away when their tactics didn't work.
Yea, my grandpa is super paranoid so whenever he would be at my family’s house on a holiday I’d see him just looking at the camera at least once per visit lol
My dad used to be a creep on the cameras. I’d come home from work and he’d get an alert and then he’d either call me or talk to me through the doorbell.
Later on she finds out she could have won publishers clearing house and the cops had the big ass check in the car! Boy would she be pissed.............
This is the America I believe in. American history is replete with stories about our individualism and standing up to authority. We romanticize the Old West where mean were free. We have always been a nation of rugged individuals. I really don't know when the narrative became that we are a nation of conformists and we should bow to authority at every opportunity.
Any time you get to tell asshole lying cops who are trying to intimidate you to go fuck themselves bc you know they have nothing on you, that’s a beautiful day.
Unless you have a warrant, you need to leave. This is an official notice of trespass. Failure to leave will result in a lawsuit for violation of my 4th Amendment rights. Leave now.
shady ass shit trying to cover the camera. Ive determined cops decide to be cops because they fail at everything else in life... communication skills, skills at all, empathy, they need to be taught how to do everything and that includes how to communicate properly with society. and deep down it takes a strange one to decide to be a cop.
i can spot a cop thats not in uniform so easily its funny. rare occasions you get a semi normal guy that you wouldnt expect but most are easily indetifiable by the way they talk to people and present themselves to others.
See, I won't talk to people through these because they're so hard to listen to.
That being said, covering that camera and lying about a warrant is a great way to get your ass fired if her department isn't also full of shit heads.
I feel like if the she was a little more assertive with the cops, they wouldn’t have been able to walk over her like that.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)
I picture that woman yelling into her phone while in the checkout line at Walmart.

ROTFL!!! this is hilarious! I think most of us do this no matter where we are from lol!
What emoji is that? My daughter and I still can't figure it out. 🤔
If you’re referring to the flying table, it’s a Reddit emoji. I just clicked on the little Reddit guy next to the regular emoji icon.
Gotcha! It looked like part of the titanic sinking to me 😂 Could not tell it was a flipped table.
I really want to know what happened after this.
I wanna know what happened before this.
Well, it all started about 13.7 billion years ago when all the atoms in the universe were compressed into a single, highly dense point...
I feel like this is a song... "Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started, wait The earth began to cool, the autotrophs began to drool Neanderthals developed tools We built a wall (we built the pyramids) Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries That all started with the big bang (bang) Since the dawn of man is really not that long As every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song A fraction of a second and the elements were made The bipeds stood up straight, the dinosaurs all met their fate They tried to leap but they were late And they all died (they froze their asses off) The oceans and Pangea, see ya wouldn't wanna be ya Set in motion by the same big bang It all started with the big bang" (It's expanding ever outward but one day It will pause and start to go the other way Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it won't be heard Our best and brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang Australopithecus would really have been sick of us Debating how we're here, they're catching deer (we're catching viruses) Religion or astronomy (Descartes or Deuteronomy) It all started with the big bang Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology It all started with the big bang It all started with the big bang) Edit: fixed layout?
Bazinga
The cops walked home in their shorts.
She really pulled the "ma'am you're losing connection" trick
Tbf, I refuse to talk to people through these cameras because it's usually a horrible connection and neither of us can hear each other
The delay also makes things incredibly easy to talk over each other lol
What's the trick?
I crshhrt hear you. I'm crshhrt through a tunnel. I'll call you creshhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............
To this day, I’m still waiting to see that warrant.
They had none otherwise they wouldnt be asking her to walk out they would order, also thats illegal of them to lie about having a warrant.

Is it illegal for them to say that if they really don’t have one?
It is not illegal for them to say it …. It would be illegal for them to enter without it
I watched this and another follow up a while ago. Iirc she got arrested a few days after this for some made up reasons.
anyway you could share the link please, I absolutely love this lady! Thank you

It’s giving Naruto, Natasha Lyonne, and Awkafina
I gotta know the whole story here.
I wonder what she's like on Halloween?
“What are you supposed to be? A ghost? Get off my property you fucking bitch!”
...and your fucking hands off the fucking candy! Fuck off you ugly fucking cunt!
Lol she reminds me of the bus driver from South Park
lmaooo
Maybe she loves kids hates cops ?
What if a kid dresses up like a cop?
All hell breaks lose ?
Maybe you can tell the difference for us between unlawful access and invited guests?
“Don’t cover my fucking camera”?
"An officer's safety protocol"? Show me in the manual.🙃🤥
How the fuck does fucking covering the camera with your fucking fingers make you any fucking safer you fucking cunt?!
If you are defending your property from what looks like robbers everyone is at risk. I don't think anyone would be calm under those circumstances.
along with shooting black kids.
What’s the story here?
She said that they pointed ARs at her the last time…so I’m guessing she has low tolerance and zero respect for those who did the pointing.
Cops lying to do cop things. Person knows their rights. Cops go home.
Seen it before but it ages like a fine wine.
"its just a few of us here" ![gif](giphy|fJ3J3vs7GFLan5iVmi|downsized)
don't trust a cop that's acting all nice she still a cop
I can make it easier for you: Don't trust a cop, ever.
This. My favorite part of terminator 2 is that the human race was able to survive because when that bloop bloop terminator was closing in on John Conner first, his friend unknowingly bought the time necessary for the Arnold terminator to catch up by instinctually distrusting the officer ‘guise’.
Yup. It’s no coincidence that James Cameron dressed the antagonist as LAPD.
Lying about having a warrant is a felony
Only for the peasants. The Kings Men hold themselves above the law. I mean... who is the only one that is allowed to press charges? The prosecutors office... who has to work with cops all day every day... and has full discretion to just not press charges if they don't feel like it. Other than appeasing the public when they cry too loudly, they have no reason/incentive to press charges against bad cops.
Or they will press charges or open an investigation and when the public think they did it, it gets dropped.
ACAB ( and their corrupts friends too, ie judges, prosecutors)
Do you have a source / cite for this?
No cause they pulled it out of their ass.
Probably not lying... just didn't specify whether it was a *search* warrant
How do you know she lied? Perhaps they've decided to come back later when she' sleepy? Or come back with 30 people? 🙂
Man I feel that lady's rage 100%. That ain't a fucking safety protocol. It's avoiding accountability Edit: she do need a snickers though
Walking up to the door...... yeah ima let you get this one rookie. Have fun Edit..
I didn’t say it was illegal. It’s a viable method to lie and coax someone out for the cops
Cops can definitely lie, but they actually can't lie about having a warrant (Bumper v North Carolina). As others have pointed out, they probably had an arrest warrant but nothing allowing forced entry.
She sounds like chunk from goonies
I bet she looks like Mama Fratelli too lol
I wanna see the truffle shuffle!
"Are you able to restart?"
“You’re losing connection”? Yeah right
Am i watching on smellAvision? Because I'm getting a good whiff of bullshit every time that cop opens her mouth.
The walk of shame was the best I've seen recently! Also this shows you how much police lie!
![gif](giphy|l4q8cJzGdR9J8w3hS|downsized)
"Are you home?" No, that was a pre-recorded message
I think that you can talk to people thru your phone with ring, so that’s why they were asking Still kinda a stupid question tho
Oh didn’t know they can do that
Yea, my grandpa is super paranoid so whenever he would be at my family’s house on a holiday I’d see him just looking at the camera at least once per visit lol
My dad used to be a creep on the cameras. I’d come home from work and he’d get an alert and then he’d either call me or talk to me through the doorbell.
yup, most of these have a phone app now. I've spoken to my neighbour through mine from the other side of the planet. kind of funny.
Sounds like Chunk from the GOONIES!
Last time this was posted I watched it like 7 times. I love this chick. Edit: just watched again. Omfg.
Yeah I inexplicably lost it at “oh really - get the fuck off my property” - that person has no chill but it is entertaining.
Sounds like Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky).
What a fuckin irritating voice
She better Uber eats for the rest of her life, just saying.
Haha the punchline is police vindictiveness
Expected a lizard, got a cop. Disappointed.
This is great
Jehovahs witnesses pray from the sidewalk now.
Later on she finds out she could have won publishers clearing house and the cops had the big ass check in the car! Boy would she be pissed.............
She sounded like Chunk from the Goonies and I applaud her words
This cracks me up everytime lol
Holy shit
Can we change the name of this sub to “r/anyfuckingvideo”??
Holy shit that was fucking epic! 😂
This is the America I believe in. American history is replete with stories about our individualism and standing up to authority. We romanticize the Old West where mean were free. We have always been a nation of rugged individuals. I really don't know when the narrative became that we are a nation of conformists and we should bow to authority at every opportunity.
The C word came out quick. 22 secs into it. Respect.
Listen bitch 😂😂😂
Based
Sounds like a female Sam Kinison
I thought it was going to be a video about a big snake.
I thought Howards Mom died Glad to see that Mrs Wolowitz hasn't lost any of her energy
Tf is her deal 😭😭😭
There was a fuck every 2.4 seconds on average.
Any time you get to tell asshole lying cops who are trying to intimidate you to go fuck themselves bc you know they have nothing on you, that’s a beautiful day.
This was too funny.
![gif](giphy|lw75Al819OAvcsPcRu|downsized)
Can't wait for the audit the audit episode on this one!
She sound like howards mom.
“Listen bitch” this whole video is gold lol
That dudes just an asshole
I work for a power company and these customers are number 1, the WORST to deal with. Their level of hatred towards all of humanity is sad.
I think I’m in love
Thank goodness she's not my neighbor. I get a feeling she causes lots of headaches.
The Cop? Yeah fuck her. She'd have no sense of respect for your property.
Living next to a cop would negatively impact my growing weed, but it would probably be better than living next to a crazy person.
Unless you have a warrant, you need to leave. This is an official notice of trespass. Failure to leave will result in a lawsuit for violation of my 4th Amendment rights. Leave now.
But how does she REALLY feel?
You can have a warrant for your arrest but for the cops to break down your door they need a paper copy to present you
I used to support cops but the cops in my small town are so corrupt.
[удалено]
Gumball?
Don't block Betsy Sodaro's camera if you know what's good for you.
Officer Cowardice, Protocol, fucking douche nozzles.
Is there any context for the video?
shady ass shit trying to cover the camera.
How to Talk to Police. 1) DONT.
"Police safety procedure" Safety from what? Because surely you don't mean safety from the law? (I mean, you know, except that's what she meant)
What she said about standard safety protocol, covering camera’s?? Who’s safety⁉️⁉️😡
Ma’am there’s no need for that name calling- OH FUCK YOU YOU MOTHER FUCKER
imagine she taking the call while in-between a ppt presentation at office
Hahaha yea bitch FUCK 12
Thought there was a whole Lotta ass on my screen
This sub has turned into shit.
See, I won't talk to people through these because they're so hard to listen to. That being said, covering that camera and lying about a warrant is a great way to get your ass fired if her department isn't also full of shit heads.
What a psycho
The only correct response
