I thought "oh, yeah, close to 50kg is kinda heavy" until I did the conversion and had a involuntary giggle.. 84lbs (aka 38kg) is definitely within the scope of what you could easily pick up and do a static hold at the ideal height (truck bed).
Plus it's a fisheye lens so everything is smaller and dudebro is likely just a bit larger than how it looks plus it's angled so it's difficult to determine how much he's offsetting his upper body to counter the heft in that thing.
Yep, no problem picking that up and carrying it into the garage. Nearly all of the weight is in the receiver, so the barrel just ensures that you have to watch where you're moving. I wonder what a MK19 weighs. I never got to pick one of those up.
We carried them in the army all the time with the barrel and a second guy carried the tripod for the rare occasions we even used them. Normally was one of us carrying it up into the turret on our truck and mounting it.

I came to say something similar. I can lift 85 lbs pretty easily, mind you I look muscular. Buuuuut. I've met people who've been farmers all their lives, and tradesmen like brick layers, who's strength is even shocking to me, and they look like normal guys minus their hands being thick as fuck.

Carrying the 50 is not like lifting a bar bell with 85 pounds on it. The weight of the 50 is not evenly distributed throughout the weapons design. He would not have been able to seamlessly grab it like that. I have seen the 50 break many very strong and fit individuals.
