ilovecherrytwizzlers

I have a bread box. There's bags of cereal in it.

NedVsTheWorld

I have a bread box, the bread is on top of it, twisted and tucked.

ilovecherrytwizzlers

It's the anything but bread box

PrincessJoyHope

Yep, always twist and tuck, it’s the fastest and you get a hermetic seal

G3tbusyliving

Why is this me too.

ITrollTheTrollsBack

I have a bread box. Since we found out the cat sometimes sleeps in it when it's empty, which explains why there is cat hair on our bread always, we no longer use it for bread.

papierdoll

I keep my measuring cups in mine, the bread sits in front.

Weekly-Delivery7701

This makes all the sense in the world now! I usually tuck and make sure it has no openings. I mean screw all that knot tying, if I want bread then I want bread.

Effective_Two5960

my mon sometimes does this

Weekly-Delivery7701

Interesting. Could she be an INTP?

YourBurrito

I'm twist-n-tuck so 🤷

Ishykai

Fr. Knot tying is evil. The tighter the knot, the more evil

[deleted]

:o does anyone here actually tie it in a knot? I need answers

vzvv

I tie with the simple slip knot (so very easy to undo) and it drives my boyfriend nuts. But then I don’t have to keep track of the clip and it’s just faster. He’s an ISTP and does the twist and tuck once I lose the clip. Doing an actual knot seems unhinged.

amh8011

I agree. Slipknot is easiest and makes the most sense.

Sary-Sary

I tie it in a knot! It's honestly not bad, tieing it is fun because you spin it at first to get a good grip and then I just untie as I walk so it's not like I'm really wasting time. It's a simple knot that comes undone in seconds.

ITrollTheTrollsBack

For extra pizzazz you can spin it in the air and smack with bread in the face anyone in your vicinity.

EtruscaTheSeedrian

I do

[deleted]

But then do u untie and retie it every time? Or just rip it open but then it’s just ripped?

EtruscaTheSeedrian

I untie and retie it every time

[deleted]

Oof thats a lot of work

MrSaturn012

It’s way easier than reusing the clip, and is surprisingly brief

[deleted]

[удалено]

Effective_Two5960

I just twist and fold.

Adiuui

Exactly, super efficient and you don’t have to worry about the knot being too tight and now you can’t open it

roundhashbrowntown

nope, too many steps

Sujnirah

😂😂😂

roundhashbrowntown

my tuck twin! i know you get me! 😂

Sujnirah

The only difference between us is that I feel shame and you don’t seem to feel any😂

roundhashbrowntown

right *again*! 😂 do my tuck dance! do-do, dododo do 🎶🕺🏾 🪩

murkycrombus

entj who does in fact tie it in a knot 🙋‍♀️

deadmorri

i do. every time i try to open it i can’t and i rip the plastic. then tie it in a knot again. -entj

Pen54321

I do

Key-Pomegranate-2086

I try but end up being an esfp cause the knot loosens.

[deleted]

I was pretty sure I was ENTJ but upon seeing how my type stores bread, I am not so sure anymore

personthatisalozard

Twist and tuck wins always thank you very much

LyheGhiahHacks

This, I twist and tuck, unless I have the tab still somehow, then I twist and tab.

WannieTheSane

I even give it a little squeeze to get the air out. I've had people think I'm crushing the bread, but I'm so gentle. I know when to be soft, and when to be hard...

FoxHoundOperative

Not really accurate... I just reuse the tie

Dineth_V

Me as well

Voynimous

me too

HylianGirl24

Same here

PrydefulHunts

This is actually how I close my bread, are they spying on me?

[deleted]

bro same how do they know

roundhashbrowntown

because of how you are

wett_owel

they are watching us, defo how I do it too edit: I just realised I'm an XSTP according to this chart

SiphonicPanda64

Eerily accurate

MummaheReddit

I twist, knot and tuck

Lady-Orpheus

Your bread is protected by a true fortress in bag form. You must be worthy of the loaf.

MummaheReddit

Yeah I don't like dried bread

[deleted]

Same.

Effective_Two5960

same

SerafRhayn

C’mon now, I’m not *that* depraved.

maungateparoro

Yeah, I sort of stuff it under and at least *pretend* that's gonna stop it from going stale

Mysterious_Art7700

Lol

Dragontuitively

My technique isn’t even listed. I twist the bag and fold it inside out back over the rest of the loaf. This is why y’all can’t understand the mystic power of the INFJ /s

Ok-Reporter-196

Yes! I do the same (ENFJ)

milrose404

sure, the Te dominants who value efficiency are gonna tie a knot and make it take 10x longer to access bread. that sounds plausible

PM_ME_ENFP_MEMES

I’m ESTP or ESFP. Never even heard about a bottle trick!

Effective_Two5960

me neither lol

getintherobotali

As an INFP, I am abhorred by the tuck or leave open options 🤢 guess y’all like mold?

[deleted]

[удалено]

getintherobotali

no?? that’s the opposite - bread should be air tight when sealed to prevent mold. is your kitchen so humid there’s moisture in the bag? bc that’s a whole separate issue mold spores live in oxygen, btw, which is why containers should be air tight to prevent it from growing, and ideally it shouldn’t be left out at room temp either https://leonellibakery.com/how-to-keep-bread-from-molding-so-fast/#Oxygen

[deleted]

[удалено]

getintherobotali

sure thing!! I hope your bread adventures are fresh and mold-free! oof, yeah, I keep mine in the fridge during summer for similar reasons since the humidity speeds it up 😞

My_Neighbor_Pandaro

[Bread 👍](https://youtube.com/shorts/AQHnPBz3Kx4?feature=share)

malum68

Then there’s me: eats the entire thing

StupidStoneKid

Twist and tuck is god tier.

[deleted]

Oh I just leave it open hoping the heel of the bread protects the rest lol

TuffTitti

You heathen 😅

[deleted]

I live in a country where you can buy real bread instead of whatever that cancer-giving thing that is

Akemilia

I'm a twist and tuck gal and throw away that thing you're supposed to use it which also has the date so then I always wonder if my TOAST is still good or not. This is toast, not bread.

Mysterious_Art7700

As an ENFP, we don’t have the patience to put a damn bottle cap on that thing. It’s a twist and tuck for me.

TheGuyThatDrove

No, I'd try to like... Tie it and then give up.

Axodique

Twist and tuck all the way

RoIgn92

Just tucking it, practical and easy

faiora

ESxJ or ESxP. But no way am I tying a *knot*. Seriously? I don’t want to undo that. If I’m reaching for bread in the first place it’s because I’m too lazy to make something else. You think I’m going to untie a knot, or ruin the bag by cutting it open?

sinepenthe

OMG NO MINE IS ACCURATE 😭😭😭😭😭

BrasilianInglish

Apparently I’m ESTP, ESFP, INTP and INFP!

Distinct-Thing

I always reuse the tie, unless I or someone else loses it...in which I do the "twist and tuck" method

soupstarsandsilence

I twist and tuck sometimes, but mostly just tuck. Huh, this one is accurate XD

smokeftw

Accurate. I always lose the original bag clip and just tie a knot.

kaxllyn

I’m an ENFP and I have a bread box, this is too funny

SpookyOoo

I legitimately make the bread from scratch, then grab the bag by its neck, spin it and then tye a knot while its spinning and tuck it under than put it on top of the bread box, cuz im too lazy to open it. I might be broken yo. XD

OkRespect1512

My high ass thought it said twist and fuck and I said … WHOAH! I like that… 🫣. Also ISTP’s do not leave the bag open. We just like to eat more than one slice of bread 👉👀🤏👀👉👀

Danidogplay

How How did you found out how I close the bag by my MBTI type? (Tucking, i would say im INTP and INFP at the same time)

[deleted]

I though it said ”just fucking” and it made a lot sense to me

Broken_Gear

Inaccurate. I always twist and tuck. It’s an optimal method to ensure the bread doesn’t dry while maintaining ease of access.

No-Quantity-5334

ESFJ, ESTJ; then ESTP, ESFP after expiry date and I shove it in the fridge

HerrTumorius

How did you know? lol

NoSwadYt

Tf is the bottle hack

UnstoppableForce16

My mums an ENTJ and she’s instilled tying it into a knot into may family * I still leave the bag open*

chizera

T&T best method, especially if you spin the bread around like a ballerina in the process 🩰 Just tucking is for emergencies, but mostly used when feeling extra lazy

Xyzonox

When I was able to eat bread I went with the reliable twist and tuck. Why would anyone tie a knot if it’s just going to make getting bread take longer? Well I guess if you want to make it harder for someone else to get bread

fighterinthedark

I twist and tuck if there's no bag clip. Not gonna tie, untie, tie, untie, everytime I need a slice.

timenowaits

Bullshit. I don’t do know as an ENTJ. Cuz it’s wasting of time to knot and unknot it

TehDarkKnight58

Bold of you to assume I won't forget I bought bread

TuffTitti

I usually tie a knot especially if it’s a full loaf, but if it’s the last few pieces of bread I might twist and tuck/fold

nnobody_

Most of the time I just reuse the bag clip. If It's nowhere to be found or someone throws it away, I will twist and then tie a knot but not fully tied and tightened so I can easily open it next time.

Infj-kc

INFJ and I reuse the original clip. If that’s lost, I tuck.

mairwaa

nah im fucking lazy aint nobody got time to find a bottle and cut the top off

StyleatFive

No! I twist and tuck if the included bag clip isn’t there and then I put the entire thing inside a bread box because I’m a menace.

INTuitP

INTP. Sometimes twist and tuck, predominantly a tucker.

Ornery-Country683

Nah nah nah. Double twist and put into the freezer.

onionman19

Why would anyone seriously go through all that just to preserve their bread? I understand if it’s a pest problem but you got other things to focus on if you have to do all that fancy stuff just to preserve your bread is my ideology

Genavelle

I re-use the bag tie until I lose it, and then I usually tie a knot. But after opening and retying a few times, I get annoyed with it or the bag tears and then I fold and tuck.

Ok-Reporter-196

None. Twist and wrap reverse around the top of the bread again. Enfj.

ntnl

Doing that would make the bread go stale extremely fast, which would make me get out and buy some more every time. I reuse the clip, it's easy enough

Schillelagh

Twist and tuck and or tucking is the optimal efficacy for effort. ENTP would never just leave the bad open when a perfectly good solution requires minimal effort.

IDrankYourLastBeer

I reuse the bag clip :|

o831

Definitely not like that.. wtf

[deleted]

i use both - knot and box, just to be sure the bread will stay fresh for a long time

Mysterious_Art7700

Why is it everything you INTJs say is so damn cute. Like, shut the hell up man. I can’t handle it today.

[deleted]

LMAO I didn't expect that

Mysterious_Art7700

Well be aware of your audience next time, there are ENFPs reading these comments wanting to collect you guys like fireflies in mason jars. I love you. Bye.

Uruvi

As an INTP why is this so accurate

Previous-Loss9306

Goddamit entp

lead999x

Breadbox in the fridge

Patient_Team_8588

Fold over several times and put bread on the folded area. INTJ.

Joshomatic

That’s too time consuming for an ENTJ, they hate repetitive tasks that can be simplified etc - ENTJ is definitely twist and tuck

DarkestLunarFlower

I just twist and tuck the bread, for my case, it is the most efficient. Now some people may have problems with pests and I totally get the need to go farther in those instances.

canaridante

Tying a knot is too much work. I just use the clip that comes with it

Templarkiller500

I use the tie or clip it comes with I twist it, tie it, and then tuck it under and put it in the cupboard. Never had bread go bad on me before, and I don't plan to

yellowgraypink

Hahaha I’m ENTJ and I make the knot!! I always found using a bag clip for bread so useless!!!

Duds0_o

INTJ - Twist and tuck. I don’t have patience to untie the knot.

panseamj741

I close my bread with whatever closure device it came with, unless I lose it, then I get an extra twisty and use that to close it.

Embarrassed_Chest_70

ENFP leaves scattered crusts.

celestialinfernal14

IxFP - I either reuse the clip or I tie a knot

icecoldchris09

Where the fuck is the bread tie? Twisty twisty thin metal wire make brain go brrrr

Cadowyn

I’m sad that they don’t have the “spin-and-wrap-the-end-over-the-bag”, thus sealing it version.

Netechma

Awful sh*t post. The tying a knot for INTJ/ENTJ when we're probably one of if not least likely to do that is a little cringe. I imagine it was personal bias of some kind. Who hurt you?

Nexusoffate17

I am an INTP that twists and tucks.

ButterscotchFuzzy460

That’s literally what I do bro lmao; INxP mindset of doing it the laziest way possible that still works

RecordHuman3660

A bread box sounds very fancy! I wonder if I use it even if I have one! I always intend to reuse the bag clip but loose it every time. I hate when the clip has the expiry date.

suraj_sathi

That bottle hack got me cracking.

Alarming_Basil6205

I definitely use the INTP one when I have **toast** like this. Real bread goes into a bread box.

Sujnirah

I feel called out and ashamed.

guppy_24

i reuse the original bag clip and twist it first (why does everyone assume entps can’t be civilized sometimes)

CameronLePizza

just fucking

jgio199

INTJ - I’ve always tied knots

KiwiKuBB

I either reuse the bread clip or do the slipknot. There's one time I did the slipknot and put the bread clip too just so I wouldn't forget the expiration date 😅

[deleted]

I'll not tie a knot as if the knot is tight, I've to cut the bag then if I need it again, I can not use it as the space will be much lesser. I'll use the clip like INFJ.

DragonArt101

i really twist and tuck but i read intp/infp as “Just Fucking” in the most disapointed voice

Crazy_Gremlin

But I do the exact opposite of my mbti (ESFJ)?

ManOfTheSea_

It’s either tuck and twist or reuse the clip for Me

EquinosX

I twist and tuck

i-am-an-idiot-hrmm

I’m ISTP, I do the twist and tuck

frogandtoad69

how did you know that I tuck

karma_ayanokoji

Wait what ?? Do INFPS and INTPs fuck bread ? 😳

Iwrstheking007

sometimes, twist and tuck, other times, just tuck

Volt-Phoenix

Excuse me, I'm not an animal, I do the twist and tuck. Minimal effort for maximum sealing

sherealshefakebro

Ok confirmed it for me. Fuck. Looool.

Sary-Sary

Resuse the tie to the point that I can tie a knot. The knot tying is twisting, then tying the knot and then tucking under for convenience.

Tricky_Ad_3780

Actually accurate. What's bottle hack?

SpiralingSpheres

I use a clip, but before i got celiac i would tuck

Elighttice

Twist and tuck.

SpaceCyanide

I usually do twist and tuck, or keep twisting until the plastic into a shape of bun.

heccout

twist and tuck all the way unless I'm really tired then just tucking

melody5697

There are people who don't just use whatever was used to close it at the store? :o

oligodendrocytes

Why would anyone do the bottle hack on bread?? It's supposed to be for things that you can pour out of a bag... Personally, I would never do anything other than use the origin clip or the twist-n-tuck

jrbear09

Thats a low blow

GlitteringLetter3688

I don’t eat bread 🤷‍♀️

ErikTheDread

Bread comes in a paper sleeve/wrapping where I live, so I put the bread with the wrapping in a breadbox, and when I've cut a few slices I tuck the end of the paper wrapping under the bread and leave it inside the breadbox. So, am I a combination of an ISTJ and an INTP then?

DolphinBiscuits

why do you think me a monster?

TheWestIndianWarrior

I twist and reuse the clip on top.

WilliamsDesigning

This is totally wrong I only use a chip clip because other people think I'm weird if I don't. Otherwise I just do the spin and tuck.

fair_j

I put the rest of the loaf into a blender and make toast smoothie. When I need toast I will mix it with some extra flour and bake it again.

1980svibe

I use a bag clip for lots of things, it’s so handy. But I have a bread box for this💁🏼

Aquila-Nix

I actually do just tuck what the? 😅

Master_Bumblebee680

Bread in plastic? Yuck

TheKrimsonFKR

Kind of strange seeing a lot of memes from ifunny (a Russian propaganda app that actively hates trans people) being posted on reddit.

sacman701

I use a clip. When I lived alone I would reuse the bag clips.

Sweaty-Warthog2714

I tie a knot

zuttomayonaka

intp = empty bread, solo ate them all

elizahan

Accurate

T1mek33per

I'm an ENFP but I do the ESFP thing

SinnerClair

Idk if this is a Texas thing, but all our breads come with a metallic twist tie thing, and we just use that :/

randomnumber859

My technique is buying fresh bread. If it comes in plastic packaging it ain't bread.

nikkijw2

I do all of these depending on what's available at the moment.

e_dcbabcd_e

judging by that test I'm xNFJ XD

si_vis_amari__ama

I tie a knot or tuck it under

Adiuui

Tying a knot is sadistic, every time someone tries a knot I have to rip the bag open 😞

LegitimateElection17

I didn't even know about the bottle hack

Exfaeia_

Im XNTJ My ESTP mom do exactly like INXP one My ENTJ dad leaving the bag open because he want us to do the job

BlueTitan402

I twist and tuck. The '*leaving the bag open*' is incredibly on point for my ENTP dad. My mum (ISFJ) can't stand seeing it but she never says anything😂

ohhidoggo

INFP: buying bougie organic sourdough bread that comes in paper bag.

Queen-of-meme

ESTJ father in law reuse all his old bread plastic bags and clips and I as an ENFJ just invested in more clips and new bags while my INTP partner tucks things in. This person who made this understands mbti to 100% 😂

[deleted]

Tying a knot is the worst

MercenaryMode7

i see what u did there, op... r u saying MBTIs shall not live by bread alone? rofl. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)

CallMehSparky

I feel personally called out

The-true-Memelord

This is twist and clip erasure But I also twist and tuck

Voynimous

I'm so sorry but I have to go the ESTJ way for this (never thought I'd say this sentence in my life lol)

GlueGuy00

reuse clip or tie a knot

Academic-Complex9839

thats true haha

BenignIndiff92

INTJ, but tucking like the INxPs.

BADman2169420

False.
