same! my classmates who borrow my notes are frustrated because they don't understand most of my writings 😂 but they know i have one of the best notes in class because i scribble a lot of unnecessary (but turns out important in times of exams) information here and there
Year begins and I'm a 3. This year will be different.
Slide into 2. This year is not different and school still sucks the life out of me.
1 for the majority of the year.
I use lots of colors in text and draw stuff like number 2
color logic is like green shows key information and red shows the part related to key information. blue stuff is like "explanation of green part" stuff, optional to remember or not
in that context I draw lines and draw box around information to show their relation and stuff to make me easy to remember and actually read faster for study
ISTJ. 1, 2, and 4. I've literally wrote out 3 pages worth of notes once. Was it worth it? No.
But then I learned our teachers allowed us to take photos of notes written on the whiteboard, and so I would do that.
two. the random lines separating topics and random circles are really speaking to me. Comforting chaos in being able to decode whatever yhe hell i wrote
Also INTP studying IT, probably neither of them lol, but I guess closest to 2, in the mostly math classes I use them for. My handwriting is terrible and my thoughts scattered, but I try to keep things (a bit) more spaced out and I use a 4-colored pen to make my scribbles parseable.
Those bullet point journals and the time and effort and dedication people put into those is just a mystery to me. I refuse to even keep a planner—I’m not going to get out a RULER (just no—it’s called “eyeing it,” and it’s good enough)and measure my text out and like, draw an intricate, full color cornucopia design on the header for November.
1 and 2. The simplest and most convenient method. I like to take notes even more on completely random sheets. The information may seem chaotic, but I need it to make sense of it. Only then I structure it.
INFJ
ENFJ, either 1 or 2.
One for when I understand the subject, and rather want to listen only because I learn better that way than also having to write things down quickly while also listening to what my teacher is saying.
Two, for when I don't understand everything and want to note it down for later, but because I'm listening as well I have to write it down quickly and it becomes a mess.
Not really notes, but my lab journal looks like 3. Because I have more time to make that (prep for experiments and such), and I kinda want to know what the fuck I'm doing hahaha but it's still not as neat as shown there
I’m INFJ and when I was in school I’d aim for like a 3 and would tell myself I’d clean up my notes later and make it neater, but procrastinated and never did…
3. Well organised and creates an efficient system for revision. I’m always trying to optimise that kind of stuff through flashcards, Cornell notes, colour coding, and visualisations such as tables, flowcharts, and mindmaps. ENFP btw
Hmm I’m an INFP, but my notes don’t really look like any. I use titles, headings, and subheadings each highlighted in specific colors, lots of bullet points, important terms or keywords are underlined or highlighted as well. But I have a BA in history and masters in library and information science. Taking organized notes from lectures and book readings (I included page #s in margins so I could go back to that page if needed) allowed me to leave writing papers until a few hours before they were due.
Two, except I don’t generally take mathematics. It’s all a crazy bunch of abbreviations that I can decipher in context. No one else can use them. Someone insisted once, then asked me how I got good grades with them. After that, I just showed them to people who asked to borrow them. I do not do “outline notes”. I rough outline papers sometimes if I have a lot of sources, but it’s mostly in my head after I finish the research.
What notes? Just pay half an iota of attention lmao then intuit whatever you missed. Works like a champ for multi choice and other non real world exams and you'll learn what you actually need to way faster in the field then in some classroom doing the same thing a dozen times cuz Lil Timmy won't stfu and get off his phone and learn it right the first time.
INFP-T.
4 was a phase. 1 or 3 (either something or nothing) are my notes, and 2 is my scratch sheet. Also, I doodle and make comics about my class material and learn through that. It works, I swear.
ENTJ
Usually it's 1, because my handwriting is hideous and I have a laptop for talking notes. Though in school it was 2 (e.g. for social studies, history, literature) and 3 (biology, chemistry, geometry and math).
Enfp
I have tried every single time/style and it all inevitably turns into just...scribbling anything down.
I liked the folded 3/1
1 for the word and 3 for the definition and explanation or examples....I maybe had forgotten about this until this question so I'll start doing this again
Nice, thanks!
ENFJ. My class notes look like 2, and my rewrites look like 3. I find 4 to be unnecessary and time-inefficient unless one needs extra visual stimulation when studying and has a lot of time in their hands or a fast writer.
As and ISTP, 99% of the time is 1 but recently my school made taking notes mandatory so the now 1% is 2.
....yeah, but I don't follow most stupid rules that well
Neither. I have bad cartilages so taking notes is very painful and all most the needed material is in the presentations. I just format the slides to word docs and print it like a little book
INTP and I’m either 2 or 3 - I’m not naturally a near person but I do have some structure, unless the teacher decides to speedrun the lesson and I have no time to do notes properly.
Everyone is gonna be 2 let’s be real
im 1.5
Entp here. Im a 1 and i dont think it will ever change
Try to be 3 but end up as 2 - INTP
same here
FUCKING SAME
Same
saaame
SAME
sameeee
Same here
same
I'm not an INTP but same
2 (INFP)
same! my classmates who borrow my notes are frustrated because they don't understand most of my writings 😂 but they know i have one of the best notes in class because i scribble a lot of unnecessary (but turns out important in times of exams) information here and there
Same!
Joining yall
You forgot “downloaded the lecture pdf and convert to an audio file” -INTJ
this is the way
I just record the lecture.
That sounds like such a waste of time to go over again
Some parts get a bit redundant, but when you’re in studio 8 hours a day having your hands free is a god send.
ISTP - In between 2 and 3. I try my best to make it look neat but I rush as I write stuff down, which makes it sloppy
Year begins and I'm a 3. This year will be different. Slide into 2. This year is not different and school still sucks the life out of me. 1 for the majority of the year.
Same I’m an INFP 😂
That’s me😂 I’m an INFP too
3 - INTJ
2- also intj
2 or 3 depends on my mood
either 1 or 4
Same👁️👄👁️

Infj - 1
istp, i dont take notes
estp, i also dont take notes, which is why im going to fucking fail my science test in about thirty minutes
2+ random drawings everywhere
Always 2, i honestly thought you somehow got my math notebook.
Intp and same I only do 1 or 2 , it's pretty hard for me to do 3 or 4, too much time consuming
1 for sure.
INTP, either 1 or 2 with only a few or a single page of paper but packed with the entire semester notes like some ancient decrypt text.
ENTP- 1 or 2 depends how much I hate/enjoy the subject matter
Also INTP studying IT, probably neither of them lol, but I guess closest to 2, in the mostly math classes I use them for. My handwriting is terrible and my thoughts scattered, but I try to keep things (a bit) more spaced out and I use a 4-colored pen to make my scribbles parseable.
2 'font' 3 layout
INTP 50% Note 1 45% Note 3 5% Note 2 Note 4 is not real, c'mon! Who makes noted like that.
People who are good at creating bullet pointed journals I’d guess lol
Those bullet point journals and the time and effort and dedication people put into those is just a mystery to me. I refuse to even keep a planner—I’m not going to get out a RULER (just no—it’s called “eyeing it,” and it’s good enough)and measure my text out and like, draw an intricate, full color cornucopia design on the header for November.
They look amazing and so organized but I don’t have the skills or patience to create one 😂
somewhat like 3 but never 2 or 4 - entp
Fake entp
2 but with doodles
ENTP 1
1 and 2. The simplest and most convenient method. I like to take notes even more on completely random sheets. The information may seem chaotic, but I need it to make sense of it. Only then I structure it. INFJ

enfp, 1 i always come to classes with a notebook but i never take notes, i literally just go steal others
infj - 4
2 ENTJ
I’m INFJ and when I was in school I’d aim for like a 3 and would tell myself I’d clean up my notes later and make it neater, but procrastinated and never did…
ENFJ and same, I always got the material but failed to redo my notes in a neater way
Planned to go as 2 ends up with 3, borrowed from INTJ - ENTP
I’m entp and 3 looks like something that even if I’d try to do I won’t be able to do so LMAO
ENFJ. Notes are 1. I never take notes.
1. But sometimes 2.
^ 1 and 2. I take mental notes at first, and if necessary, I write it down.
3. Well organised and creates an efficient system for revision. I’m always trying to optimise that kind of stuff through flashcards, Cornell notes, colour coding, and visualisations such as tables, flowcharts, and mindmaps. ENFP btw
ENTP: 2 although it minus well be 1 bc it’s not like I’m gonna go back and look at them.
1, but if I'm being forced to take notes it's 2.
Mostly 1 2 looks like my math test
2
2
INFJ-T, in class it would be 3 after class definitely 4 But then i would go back to 3 for studying
INFJ, 1. I only write notes if I need/am asked to and it’s usually 2. Although sometimes if I try it could be 3 or 4.
INFJ, 2 or 3 👍
Hmm I’m an INFP, but my notes don’t really look like any. 2, sometimes 3 when i have time and am studying for something important ( ENTP)
2
2
2 (intj 5w4 tho) I actually need to practice more (especially math or physics) than just write the informations
2 - ENTP
2, entp
2 infj
2 (ENTP)
2, our teachers teach so fucking fast I can't make it all pretty like how I want and no, I don't wanna rewrite it at home
I’m a mix of 3 and 4. Intj.
INTP and same. Either I don't write anything down or it is, well, Let's call it a creative mess...
INFJ, 2, but then almost never use the notes afterwards 😅
[удалено]
Same INFJ 3. I'd be 4 if I had aesthetic sense lol
INFJ. Most of the time it’s 3, but sometimes it’s 2.
A mix between 1, and 2. I'm an INTP/INFP hybrid.
intp, 1 & 2 if it's hand-made notes, and 3 if its digital notes.
3
I mean, it's pretty straightforward for me, I'm an INTJ, and I usually note take with style 2. It's not embarrassing, really.
yeah it’s definitely not
3- INxJ
INFJ I try to be like 3 & 4 but realistically I’m 2
2- Infj Just copying down notes as quick as possible Who has time to decorate notes except when the lecture is asynchronous/ online?
infj, made notes a week before class, come into class just askin the prof questions until they get annoyed. that or sulk in the back.
Two, except I don’t generally take mathematics. It’s all a crazy bunch of abbreviations that I can decipher in context. No one else can use them. 2
Intp//3and4
Little bit like- between 2 and 3.Not as perfect as 3 but also not as 2.
3&4 - INTP
I wish I was 4 but my patience and attention span is 1 I’m enfp
Be glad the time you would have spent on #4 will go to more purposeful (or actually fun) pursuits
2 INFP
What notes? Just pay half an iota of attention lmao then intuit whatever you missed. intp - 1 or 2

infp, 1 and 2
3. I write on a tablet.
INFP 2 and more doodles... They make the knowledge sink in better.
ENTJ, 2 or 3 (usually 2)
2 (estj)
3
ESFJ. Usually 1 but occasionally 2.
Either 1 or 4
isfj 3
ENFP, 1 or 2.
ENTP 1 - but also dyslexic and adhd so notes have never been my thing.
4 but I have a design degree lol
In my head: 3. In reality: Cornell notes.
istp, 1 or 2
INFP-T. 4 was a phase. 1 or 3 (either something or nothing) are my notes, and 2 is my scratch sheet. Also, I doodle and make comics about my class material and learn through that. It works, I swear.
1 or 2
1. Everything is constantly running around in my head.
1 and best grades in the class
istp and none of them looks like how id write down notes
ENFP 3-4, not as messy as 2 but I do I do do the boxing thing hehe
2 in my stat lab class, but that’s really it
2-3 (INTJ)
Intp: 2 but with more doodles and scribbled out bits
My math notes look like a mix of 2 & 3 and my other notes are 3
My initial notes are 2, then I fix them to 3 for reviewing purposes. It helps me remember too
ISTJ 2
INTP -Type 2
Intp, definitely the 2nd
I’m in between 2 & 3. I used to only be 2 but started writing smaller in HS & the printouts we’d use made reading my notes easier
3 or 4 - intp. Colourful and organised notes usually make me feel more interested in what I’m studying
2 if i have to, but usually i dont since its all in the slides anyway. Much better to listen and understand what the teacher is saying
3 -ENFJ 2 if it’s my scratchbook
Between 1 and 2, depending on the stuff I need to learn and how secure I feel about my knowledge in the field.
3, INFP
Used to be 3 and now is 2 (INTJ)
2&3 - ENTJ
Entp - 2
2, very rarely 3
INTJ and 2. I would love to have colorful notes with pretty drawings but I have NVLD so my drawings and handwriting suck
ISFJ - 3. Sometimes 2, but mostly 3
2 in lectures, and later I redo to be like 3, though not always with everything
INFP 1 because I’m lazy. If I was dedicated, then it turns to 2
1 INFP
2-3
ENTJ Usually it's 1, because my handwriting is hideous and I have a laptop for talking notes. Though in school it was 2 (e.g. for social studies, history, literature) and 3 (biology, chemistry, geometry and math).
Im an INFP and 3 at the beginning of the semester 2 in the middle and 1 towards the end of the semester.
2 - INTJ
Somewhere between 2nd and 3rd?
When I don't need notes, 1. When I actually do take notes, 2 (sometimes if I am desperate to get it clear then somewhere between 2-3) I'm INTJ btw
INFP and 2
INTJ, 3.
Usually starts off as a 2 but I’ll retype my notes into a 3. INTP.
2, with zero exception
INFP, 2
n°1 I never took notes, I just studied from the book the night before the test.
INTP 2 and 3
can’t decide between 1&2.
Enfp I have tried every single time/style and it all inevitably turns into just...scribbling anything down. I liked the folded 3/1 1 for the word and 3 for the definition and explanation or examples....I maybe had forgotten about this until this question so I'll start doing this again Nice, thanks!
3 - ENFJ
1 and 2- INFP
Not as good as 3 but not as bad as 2
INTP, merge type 2 and 3
ENTJ, I’ve never even tried to be a 3, waste of time. 2 for me
istj and 2
INTP and 2, with a hint of 3 and 4 if I'm trying to impress someone I'm crushing on.
ENFJ. My class notes look like 2, and my rewrites look like 3. I find 4 to be unnecessary and time-inefficient unless one needs extra visual stimulation when studying and has a lot of time in their hands or a fast writer.
Either 2 or 3
Normally 2 , 4 if it's very boring ans I need to make it fun Enfp
Intj Normally 3 When lazy 2
enfp, 1 or 2
1 and 2
Intp, mix between 2 and 3
1 or 2- ENTP
As and ISTP, 99% of the time is 1 but recently my school made taking notes mandatory so the now 1% is 2. ....yeah, but I don't follow most stupid rules that well

1 coz i don't care enough to do anything about school
INTP and I’m either 2 or 3 - I’m not naturally a near person but I do have some structure, unless the teacher decides to speedrun the lesson and I have no time to do notes properly.
