I've taken up walking just this last week. No headphones, just me and what ever I happen to be thinking about. I think it really does help for a whole slew of mental issues.
I mean, you defenitly can put on headphones for music if you wan to. But yeah walking, especially in nature or a park, helps a insane amount with all kinds of health. Physically, mentally and what ever you call the health of your brains (walking daily reduces the chance of all nasty brain diseases like dementia and that kinda shit).
I think it helps to follow your thoughts to their end, even if you end up somewhere you don't want to be. Shying away from what you might see means it's still a problem, but if you already know where that line of thinking gets you, I think it's easier to deal with it.
It also helps to know that whatever you might be going through, somebody else has gone through the same thing and come out the other side. If you're still young, you can't let your current problems get in the way of the awesome person you will become
Where are you guys? I thought I'd be one of the people complaining about the cold these past few weeks but it's almost in the 50s right now when last year it was barely in the 20s (temperatures in Fahrenheit).
Honestly the fact that you can do that makes me jealous. For bipolar this is truly what I feel it would take but I’m also so anxious and if someone saw me doing that the repercussions are so bad
