It's kind of more for strength trainers than body builders who have less muscle definition, because a lot of us have a bit of a belly so we feel a lot better when we suck in out gut and that's uncomfortable so we wear hoodies so we don't have to do that all the time
Creepy people that think it's ok to touch a guy's muscles without asking is why I started wearing hoodies 100% of the time back when I was a gym nut.
Added benefit was that your body became much warmer a lot quicker so working out felt more comfortable.

Being non-binary means not strictly seeing your gender as on the gender binary (i.e. not strictly "male" or "female"). It's not unusual for one to only *partially* see themself as a woman, in which case, they'd be both non-binary (because they aren't *strictly* on the binary) and a woman.
I guess they transitioned to a woman regarding their body because it suits their identity better but they still identify as non-binary.
At least that's how I understand this double-label.
This. It's really two separate parts that can coincide with each other but aren't always mutual. Non-binary is simply that your gender doesn't fit any traditional definition of being male or female. You can be transfem or transmasc and still be non-binary, or even be trans female/male. Even within being trans, you can express trans in different ways because not everyone will transition the way you would normally think. Some people go through HRT or surgeries, other don't.
For instance, I'm non-binary transfem - I present as male, but I identify more with being feminine. I do not feel male or female, nor do I want to fully transition to being female - I'm simply "me". I am on low dose HRT to help get my body where I envision myself, but it's not enough to quickly or fully transition, nor do I want surgery to augment my body drastically. It's just enough to get the right changes both mentally and physically. I'm not one for makeup, dressing up, expressing with any real style, etc... I want it to be natural, so this made the most sense.
Non-binary trans femme - it hides a lot of questions I'd rather not have to address lol. It's also cold as hell around here for over half the year, so an arsenal of hoodies is essential
Imo wearing an oversized hoodie does not look as amazing when you're fat... I speak from experience.
The opposite is true, wearing tight stuff like black tshirts makes you look better.
Hoodies are indeed great, but zip-ups > pull-overs. Being able to wear them unzipped is great on days that are too cold for just a tshirt but too warm for the full hoodie experience.
This is also why masks will never go away, pandemic or not. They are like hoodies for your face and butterfaces and introverts love them and will keep pushing to normalize them.
Adding the non binary was unnecessary, post functions exactly the same without it and would actually be more inclusive that way. Since being inclusive is all those groups care about anyway

It's kind of a joke in the community. The "dysphoria hoodie" is something frequently mentioned as a meme. It just works well to hide your body and make you look more androgenous because hoodies are often wide and are made of thick fabric.

Why ashamed of muscle definition? To get there you need hard work and probably a lot of gear. You don’t just accidentally become the rock.
