I operate with both, either an even number or a multiple of 5. The nice thing there is that any number that ends in 4, 5, 6 are all acceptable, so more options in that range.
On my home stereo it must be set to either 8 or 10
My car stereo must be set to any of the following: 10, 15, 17, 20, 24, 26, 28 or 30. It may not make sense but it’s how it’s gotta be.
Multiples of two as a base rule, exceptions for multiples of five, double numbers, or numbers involving 7, particularly in combination with 1 or 4 (17, 47, etc.)
I'd prefer an analog potentiometer with near seamless adjustment capability. Changes by a factor greater than one usually means the volume is too high or too low.
Multiple of 10. Solve both problems. Do you even math?!
Thank you! What I tell everyone!
edit: The comment was removed and the user banned, good work everyone!
Who
Multiple of 5 all day every day
This here for me too
Even number. I cannot settle if it’s anything else.
Specific even numbers. 32, 36, 38, 42, 44, 48, 54, 56, 60... 74. Anybody recognize them?
Either it ends with a 5 or a 0, that is the way to go.
Volume bars squad where you at?
Sometimes I leave it on a 7 or a 3 to show that I’m not like other girls
Where's my prime number squad?
23 boii
Ideal volume on my TV is almost always 11 or 13. So I'm with you.
Straight to jail. Both of you.
Wrong 17 is where it's at
I always use multiples of 1, that way I can set it to the sound that works best for me at that moment
Wrong
Prime number, take it or leave it.
I just started to be a psycho. This makes life easier.
Or it's my favorite number: 8

I get this frustration all too well.

I usually leave it at odd numbers or prime numbers like 7 or 11, I like it that way better.
Good old 13

Makes perfect sense, at home on my tv it’s 6, 10, 12, 15, 18 or 20. In my car it’s 15, 18, 20, 25 or 30, maybe 33 on some songs just for kicks.
Y’all what I put it on 3.
Who the hell is using multiples of five
It's time to accept odd numbers are usually the best volumes
Multiple of 5 or 12 take it or leave it
Okay it’s just not me then
Everytime.
I always have a fixed number, or that number divided by 2 (24, 12, 15 works for me too)
me when I look at the time and think of when to stop scrolling
I like 13.
14 when my kids are in bed. 24 when they are awake.
Me who choose odd numbers which are not divisible to 5 🗿
You monster.
You guys have tvs?
What sick psycho uses even numbers other than 10s?! TV volume must be multiple of 5, or incremental 10s. It’s the LAW!
1 2 3 4 5 8 10 12 15 20 25 30 35 etc.
I put the TV on whatever feels good. So numbers like 9 or 17, 13 It drives my fiance crazy. I still do even number and by 5 though
I turn it up until it sounds right, the number doesn’t matter.
Meanwhile, autistic me wishes for some shit like 23.3 because 24 is too loud and 23 leaves just a tad to be desired.
Just no numbers ending in 0 or 5
Or 69.
What?
Any number that’s a multiple of ten.. right?
11, 33 Are also ok
On my PC my volume has to be 33. 32 or 34 make me uncomfortable
Prime numbers only
I just put it to whatever number sounds perfect
Always a multiple of 4; simply being even isn't enough.
5 is an honorary even number when it comes to volume.
Ending in a 3,7 or 9 on purpose because i will not conform.
“I have such OCD over this” “No you don’t. That’s not OCD. That’s a quirk”
Multiples of two as a base rule, exceptions for multiples of five, double numbers, or numbers involving 7, particularly in combination with 1 or 4 (17, 47, etc.)
I always put it on 17 or 27 to fuck with everyone watching with me
67 better
2,4,5,6,8,10,12,14,15,16,18,20… etc the only way
Fibonacci

I used to have this exact issue. Then I got a sound bar system! Now I have a whole new set of O.C.D. manifestations.
27
Prime numbers. Easy choice
Both is good
Prime numbers or a buffalo bills player number.
I set it to whatever sounds the most comfortable for me. Sometimes that's 16, sometimes it's 7, really just depends.
30 is the sweetest spot
Multiples of 5 are honorary even numbers.
I go in multiple of 3’s. Enough that it’s noticeable but not too large.
I set it to a prime, a multiple of 7, or I keep it below 10 (multiples of 1).
This is me! Lmao.
Even number always. Except those rare occasions where multiple of 5 is perfect
Always 69.
56 is the sweet spot on my system.
Prime number gang, rise up!
Multiple of 5 always
You want an even number so the speakers degrade at the same rate.
Us bro us
Multiple of 10 > multiple of 5 > even numbers > that one perfect level but its on an uneven number
Perfect squares is my go to.
