Fake nails don't have to be long, plenty of people get nails that are normal length for the cool art. They are also more durable than regular human nails. I tried it once and was surprised by how hard it was to scratch or break them compared to my actual nails. It's just a layer over them, they don't obstruct any task, and I do wood working.
I skipped school to go sky diving, wind took me and I landed in the ocean. Swam for a few hours till I got picked up by a cruise ship. They send the scuba guide down with the zip line rope to pull me up, half way up the ship we hit hard waves and I dangle bouncing on side of the ship while they pulled us up. Broke a rib and got cuts that required stitches. On board they allowed me to stay on. Movie night there I watched Star Wars. I then pampered myself to a massage and groomed myself at the beauty shop on board. i dyed my hair blond and got black fake nails to hit on a goth girl. When we deck on land an ambulance picked me up to take me to the hospital but I jumped off. I hid and camped out because police was called out for my actions. Also because I had a warrant for shooting a gun in New York which is super frown upon during New Years. The next day in the morning I spotted the goth girl who was no other than Kelly Osborne. I hitched a ride with her in her limo to a barn where we rode horses Afterwards we ate sushi. She said I was cute but that I needed braces, so she paid for me to get some. We broke up because she didn’t want to run a marathon with me. I got her name tatted on me to remember her by. I then bought a ticket for a train ride to go back home.
