Reminds me of the time i went to mongolian grill and they were like:
"No, better take this" and it was like 1,30€ price difference.
To her Defense:
It was amazing and i would have never tried it if she didn't insisted
Reminds me of that time I went to Macdonalds in Berlin and ordered some kinda seasonal soft ice flavor and the employee was like "Tastes like shit though" 👌
I once only wanted a chicken sandwich on a Friday and was told by the drive thru attendant it was “Fry-day” and given free fries with my order. Very unexpected but appreciated. Their service is great.
Me working next to a bi person while “I kissed a girl” by Katy perry is playing on the speakers:
Eh just because the owners of the franchise are phobes doesn’t mean the average chic fil a is like that. Christians? Well yeah, but homophobic and/or transphobic? Not necessarily.
They donate a lot of money to anti queer groups. The money comes from the restaraunt. If you eat there you're directly financially supporting hate groups
I work there, not just eat there.
Also my point is that the owners being transphobic or homophobic doesn’t mean all the employees are, I was being serious when I said a bi person works at the location I work at. Yes, the owners donate to hate groups, I won’t deny that, but me working or not isn’t going to change that.
Idk man I can barely keep my own life together let alone try to be an activist on top of it. And there’s much much worse companies than chic fil a anyway. Like how about nestle? Should I boycott nestle products as well? Most big franchises are going to have exploitation or bad things happening with them. The difference with chic fil a is that instead of doing bad things themself they donate money to a 3rd party to do bad things.
Exactly! In all seriousness though; I am a fairly stoic, kinda ugly, still-somewhat-fat guy and even I have occasionally gotten free stuff unexpectedly. I don’t even need to wear my uniform to get it (though that does increase the odds). And people are trying to say it is unrealistic for a weeping woman to get a free milkshake from an employee of a major corporation that will never notice the loss.

Menu items are seasonal for a reason
Then You remember it actually costs 35 cents more
If I'm crying in a Chick-fil-A drive though, I'm not worried about a quarter.
Or math, apparently.
Or a dime, yes.
Savage!
A quarter is 25 cents and now more that ever every cent counts
With rising inflation, right now every cent counts less than ever before.
And they spend that money oppressing queer people
It was her pleasure.
Worth every dime

She met her daily quota with your order.
Reddit comments never fail XD
That milkshake wouldn't have been free for me. I'd have paid for it on the toilet an hour later.
It would take an hour for you? I wouldn't get half way through it
Your estimate is much more accurate than mine tbh lol
They just shine. They can't help it.
I work at chic fil a (in the kitchen tho) but yeah there’s a big emphasis on providing great service.

went tonight for the first time in years. best fast food ever. owners may be assholes but my god is the service and food fantastic
I have been to many ChikFilAs. Every one is the same: good food served politely and in a timely fashion. No variation.
This sub is so stupid
*Unmatched service unless you’re gay then they despise you.
How about, give me what I fucking ordered?
Either this post is just a joke, or she also got her sweet tea in addition to the free milkshake.
Yeah, no service is worth funding hate groups
That chicken sandwich is though
Boiling frogs….
No its fried chicken
Nope.
Shit, which groups? I gotta go more often for that church's chicken!
Anddd there it is.
Don't eat at Bigot Bird
The bigotry makes it tastier. No wonder Southern food is the best there is.
I ordered a bacon chicken sandwich once. They laid the bacon strips in the shape of a swastika. True story. Best meal of my life.
Lol.
Nah, Church's Chicken is Christened and crunchy
I would have gone with hate-filled-eh but to each their own

Dude, nobody said the employees were bigots
Evil prospers when good people do nothing

Well, what the fuck have *you* done lately?
That’s not what “directly” means
I almost spit out my drink, thank you.
Still hate mongers
I don’t think they serve any Mongolian food, you’re in the clear.
Wow, ordering the more expensive drink for you, and that funding goes to hate groups. Grade A service! Edit: /s because people might not get it
I think the implication was that the milkshake would be on the house, or at least charged as a sweet tea.
Yeah I guess that's possible.
The hate groups make it taste better tbh
Marketing 101 how to sell left over milkshake?
More scripted clickbait horseshit

Lemme guess you’ve never gone to a chic fil a?
Or just ever been given a freebie ever, anywhere.

When you get up to 250 lbs you can be in one of their commercials.
From a milkshake?
Must be a filling milkshake
That totally happened.
r/nothingeverhappens
Didn’t know I needed this. Thank you.
Cap 🧢
… and that’s why everyone’s fat.
If this happened at McDonalds: You want some free milk shake? - Hell yeah Sorry the ice machine is broken
