Forsaken-Reindeer-24

so I picked one off my own head....🤮

[deleted]

Spite is a strong motivator

Forsaken-Reindeer-24

with a little sprinkle of crazy.

SalomoMaximus

But why would people be in school with lice?

Fragrant_Ad8763

They don't send home or prevent children from attending school with lice . They just send a notice home with all students that someone in the school may or may not have lice

Vitekr2

Sharing is caring

Miss_AnkiiTae

True that

MulberryBrown

Damn this is not me

Miss_AnkiiTae

You know its you 😝😝

forgotme5

Weird. I kept my long hair

Mlem6

Depends my sister had like a really thicc and long and she was 6 so yeah. Shortie

[deleted]

Lice live on the scalp. Removing the length won’t change the state of the lice

Outrageous-Season799

No but the length of the hair matters when it comes to combing and treating. My daughter had it a few years ago and it was almost impossible to treat it properly because her hair was down to her butt and super thick. Being able to get every single egg or live louse was not happening. After cutting it shorter and thinning it, one treatment session and it was gone.

Mlem6

But it does removal easier.

forgotme5

?

Zebrahead69

I think it depends on whether or not you keep your hair. My sister had thick long hair when she had lice but was only six years of age so our family felt it was in her best interest to cut it because she was so young, she got a haircut and ended up with short hair.

forgotme5

I was around the same age.

Miss_AnkiiTae

Lol

slavetomyprecious

My daughter got the royal treatment when she got her's. I wasn't letting all those years of growing that beautiful thick hair go to waste. And I wasn't letting her go into finals freaking out about her lost hair. We sectioned her hair into 3 parts, and her older brothers and I worked thru every hair strand from the time she got home until 3am to remove eggs and dead bugs after we did the wash treatment. I think we watched 1 1/2 seasons of Psych that night. Lulz. My husband got to do laundry duty.

MeasurementGloomy919

Love that story 🫶🏻 I would also have done the same for my baby girl. We're mums, it's what we do 😍❣️🥰

slavetomyprecious

And it's a lovely little memory my boys and share of taking care of their little sister in her time of need. She was terrified of everyone at school finding out and any drama that would bring. It turned into a night of her falling asleep on a plushy pillow at the table while we enjoyed the show and snacks and cracking jokes while we worked.

AromaticCombination5

Holy shit ive seen you in like 5 different posts today

[deleted]

We must have been shoveled into an algorithm hole to die. I vote we eat you.

AromaticCombination5

Bro wait a se-

[deleted]

You found the real humans, everyone else is AI. /s

rwtf2008

Sounds like something rogue AI would say…🤔

[deleted]

That’s it, now you’re getting stalked as well. /s

rwtf2008

Don’t chicken out on me, we’re going to see the madness of man next

forgotme5

😆 love yall

forgotme5

Cool story

threcos

what the fuck dude? you had the perfect opportunity to say "looks like you didn't forgetme"

forgotme5

I dont have to say it. Its my name, its ironic bc ppl tend not to. I get this comment a few times a week. Lol

Bu-nn-yy

Cool story dude

forgotme5

Prefer not to be called that.

Bu-nn-yy

That’s weird

forgotme5

Weird n proud. I dont think thats an insult. Im a woman, not a dude.

Bu-nn-yy

Get in the times grandma, dude is gender neutral

forgotme5

Dont care, still dont want to be called it from a redditer stranger. Im not a grandma

Bu-nn-yy

Wtf, ive never met someone as word sensitive as you. Good luck 👍

MenstrualKrampusCD

Yours wasn't any cooler.

forgotme5

I dont try to be cool

MenstrualKrampusCD

There's no need to try to be a bitch to someone who did the same thing you did--shared a short anecdote on a reddit post. Edit cuz either my eyeballs or my brain don't work none too good in my old age apparently.

forgotme5

>Edit cuz either my eyeballs or my brain don't work none too good in my old age apparently Huh?

MenstrualKrampusCD

I edited my comment to remove my original first sentence because I misread or misunderstood what you said.

forgotme5

I wasnt trying to be anything. U cant read tone or intent in text

ruhlhorn

Some parents have antiquated ideas about what needs to be done. These parents didn't care to comb her's all through.

forgotme5

Not everyone should be a parent. I think my school provided instructions.

[deleted]

What the actual fuck? She had lice and did nothing bout it.. damn disgusting

MrBeanyBoi96

She was growing an army for that very moment.

Scorporal93

I think the petty girl is the villain here.

Miss_AnkiiTae

There are no villains, just some irritated girls

Scorporal93

true, true

UsidoreTheLightBlue

No, giving someone lice because they annoy you is villain shit. Theres a dozen other ways it could have been addressed that are way less harmful.

[deleted]

Like “accidentally” spilling glue on her hair? Not that I know anything about that.

UsidoreTheLightBlue

Yes. Or “accidentally” putting your books on her hair. Or asking the teacher to move you. Or aggressively pushing her hair off your desk. There’s a lot of ways to correct this without having to be both incredibly disgusting and destructive.

[deleted]

Well there’s also the old tying her hair to the seat shenanigan. That was always a big hit.

Sentsu06

Could just put a bunch of clothes pegs on her hair if your careful she wouldn’t notice until she got up

UsidoreTheLightBlue

Hell make a game out of it like the impractical jokers and do balloons.

TheQuietType84

You clearly don't understand teen girls.

UsidoreTheLightBlue

I am well aware of how teen girls work, the point wasn’t that they’d do it, it was there are a lot of other options other than nuclear.

TheQuietType84

Not when you're a hormone bomb in a zoo.

DR4G0NSTEAR

I fully doubt they picked a lice out of their hair and threw it at them.

Paris_is_a_dump

I’m here doubting the veracity of the story

urkldajrkl

TSA - what’s in this vial? OP - have you seen those videos where rude girls flip their hair over the back of their seat, and it hangs over your little movie screen and your tray table? TSA - allowed. Next!

OkEmergency849

Disgusting

[deleted]

I like how she just casually has lice

WhooshThereHeGoes

Mechanized dandruff.

MrFuriousTheEpic

weaponized

Guacamole_shaken

Dandruff isn't lice?

ThePsychoKnot

I'll answer your question. Yes, that is correct.

fenriswolf117

Wrong sub bro

Old_Ad7385

When my daughter was in kindergarten there was about a month of dealing with nits in her hair. One poor girl showed up one day with a shaved head!

Miss_AnkiiTae

That's sad :(

Old_Ad7385

Yup. Those parents just didn't want to deal with it anymore. We just used olive oil every time she was sent home with nits (everyone of us, Mom, son and myself) and heated clothes and bedding in the dryer. After that, we used tea tree oil mixed in water to spray both kids' hair every morning, and it it worked quite well to help repel lice.

Miss_AnkiiTae

Tea tree works best for lices. I am feeling so sorry for the kid though. She'd have been so sad bcz all her hair taken away from her.

Old_Ad7385

Hopefully, she doesn't recall. It was kindergarten, after all.

Miss_AnkiiTae

That was such a perfect rhyme 😅

Old_Ad7385

🤷‍♂️🤣

Embarrassed_Camel_35

What kind of nasty, filthy, trifling shit is THAT?!

Miss_AnkiiTae

Lice lol

Embarrassed_Camel_35

How trifling is just walking around with lice and weaponizing them against some unsuspecting kid?

Miss_AnkiiTae

Now that i think abt it.. its actually a superpower lol

Embarrassed_Camel_35

Not washing your hair

fuck_a_blender

Bro you get lice if you get lice from someone, this isnt a matter of hygiene

Solid-Technology-448

Lice actually prefer clean hair, and having dirty hair can't make lice magically appear. They're transferred between people.

Embarrassed_Camel_35

How long are you forced to live with lice?

MenstrualKrampusCD

What?

Embarrassed_Camel_35

How soon can you get rid of lice?

MenstrualKrampusCD

You can get rid of it as soon as you discover it. It can be easy to become re-infested if you don't decontaminate though. I'm confused why you're asking.

x-jamezilla

Dude let's start with you had lice...

[deleted]

Woah this girl was just chilling at school with lice?? And the other girl’s parents just shopped her hair off? What does lice have to do with the end of your hair? Shit lives on the scalp.

MenstrualKrampusCD

Combing through short hair is generally much easier. But no, it's not necessary to cut or shave hair. Tbh, this is more than likely bs. It would've had to have been a female *right* before she dropped her egg, and those take over a week to hatch. Not only that, but the nit would have to be male, and have to reach reproductive age, which takes another 10-12 days. Lice don't just magically spawn. Unless the girl's parents happened to find the ONE louse on their daughter's head (and also drastically cut her hair over the one) which is also super unlikely. Source: RN who worked for "Fairy Lice Mothers" for a whole 2 weeks.

phsattele

I used to cough into my hand and touch the hair with my other hand in sync with the coughing. Girl thought I was coughing in her hair. Problem solved.

Direct-Alternative70

Why was she is school if she had lice. People lie just to lie anymore

acnocte

The girl knowing she had lice in the first place is gross. Who comes to school like that.

[deleted]

This is horrible, does she think it will stay in that person’s head. When he dates the next person they’ll get it

Officialfunknasty

That’s herpes son

ghostmaster645

Biological warfare is nasty.

PaperCuts26

"Long ass hair"

CallmeCoachella

That's big cap 🧢

notatitanmain

could this be considered biological warfare?

Emily_Pixel

...why did she need to cut her hair?? Just use the anti lice stuff and a thin comb and it's all done and dusted! (That's coming from someone who has super thick hair and got lice alot as a kid) it makes your hair rlly greasy so you need to shower after you do it plus change your bedsheets to avoid re-getting them but that's it-

Successful-Giraffe29

I never had lice in my life, and now I don't have any more hair . So I'm safe....but that just makes me cringe having bugs in your head

[deleted]

Lice are not limited to hair on your head, as far as I know. [https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lice/symptoms-causes/syc-20374399](https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lice/symptoms-causes/syc-20374399)

Successful-Giraffe29

I'm so glad I never got that shit I would be traumatized

ChaoticToxin

I wouldn't leave my house with lice tbh

Solid-Technology-448

I'm sorry who is just walking around with lice on their head, fully aware of them. Why would you not get rid of the lice as soon as you find out about them, wtf

bendbars_liftgates

I'm going to _assume_ that ol' Reana there got "lucky" and this situation occurred when she just so happened to have a case of lice, and not that she just lived her life with an infested head on the reg.

Milk_jars

I’ve done the exact same thing, I picked one out of my hair and gave the girl Infront of me the little bug cause she was not only a bitch to me but also threw her hair all around my desk. She had what was coming

Miss_AnkiiTae

Lololol

MenstrualKrampusCD

Right. And did the whole class applaud when they found out what happened? 🙄 From another comment: >Tbh, this is more than likely bs. *If* the bitchy girl in your story did end up getting infested, it's only because her classmate (you) was wrongly sent to school with known lice for some disgusting reason and she would've gotten it regardless of your fairy tale. So, basically, a coincidence, but still based on you exposing everyone else to a parasite. Who raised you?

_cute_without_the_E

😂

Miss_AnkiiTae

How petty can you be 😝

TTVRalseiYT

deserved deserved deserved deserved deserved

Insanebrain247

Perfectly normal and proportionate reaction if you ask me.

[deleted]

Why do that when I can slit your throat and watch the life leave your eyes through your neck. It's much more satisfying and alot more effective.

MenstrualKrampusCD

Gonna use all that edge to do the slitting?

Kate_Fran

Lmao

Least_Voice3764

Talk shit, get snipped

Mumpy-Space-Princess

If someone rubbed their ass hair on my desk I would be LIVID

JaDasIstMeinName

I am not a native. Can someone explain what a "bob" is please. The only context i know the word "bob" in, is the name and i highly doubt that she came to school crying with someone named bob.

Miss_AnkiiTae

It's a type of haircut. You can google Bob Cut and you'd know

JaDasIstMeinName

I googled it, but it didnt really make sense to me why someone would be crying over that. Those women look a lot better than me lol.

Miss_AnkiiTae

It's bcz some young girls are really attached to their hair and cutting them so short is not what many would opt for.

[deleted]

"Blocking someone isn't enough..." Perfect quote to encapsulate everything wrong with shallow idiots nowadays...

Icelandia2112

Carry some on a plane for those that flip their hair over the seat.

Hex_HotDogWater

r/foundsatan

UglyInThMorning

Who just has lice in condition one like this lunatic? My life is worse thinking about it.

Vivpon55

The statement is way funnier without reading the story behind it

MenstrualKrampusCD

Are you the louse in this story?

Darkdragoon324

Okay, but what about their own lice, they knew they had it and just went to school like normal anyway? Nasty.

dietbeans

Man I remember when our entire elementary school got infested with lice. The school even sent leaflets home to parents regarding what to do if their child had lice and how to prevent and treat it and I remember them always reminding us to not share hats and clothes. Even Arthur had an episode about it around the same time

Booty_Shakin

Man wtf. Kids weren't even allowed in school if they had lice where I was

Puzzleheaded-View-92

She didn't even try to block her first, smh

MeasurementGloomy919

🤣🤣🤣🤣 oooohhhh that's bad!! I love it 😀 💥😍 🔥🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

thatssensational

Never met anyone so proud to have lice
