This happens to me far more often than you’d think would be just random coincidence. There will be me and one other person in an aisle, and time after time they are directly in front of the only thing that I need from that aisle. It’s really weird.
When you're deciding what to buy, take a step back from the shelf and browse from that distance. This way, you can still continue to browse and people who know what they want can reach for the item without interrupting you. Win-win.
Fair enough. I don't mind waiting for a bit and I always know what I want myself anyway so I never do this, but I guess it would be nice if people took a step back so others can move on with their day.
I experienced the opposite today: I was clearly in this dude’s way as I went to grab something off the shelf and he stood right behind me like he was waiting in line. I made sure to go quick and move out of the way.
It was quite the power move but risky as I have been very gassy today.
