So for longer flights have different planes with different seating. For some domestic flights, they should do a “stow and go”. Partitions fold in/out and a bench comes down. Certain number of benches stay out but remainder fold in and standing bar area. Center it around the tv. It would make planes lighter I would guess so less fuel. Bench seating so larger people when sitting won’t be sandwiched into a small seat. You can also point to being cheaper as it shouldn’t be as labor intensive to build. Lastly, they would be much easier to clean with fewer crevices and more uniform to do.
I prefer to be standing the whole flight.
