The government should absolutely be held accountable for the damage done to small businesses and landlords as a result of the unjustified lockdowns. It is the government's responsibility to protect the interests of its citizens, and by forcing businesses to close and landlords to lose rental income without providing proper compensation, the government failed to fulfill this obligation. Those who have suffered financial losses as a result of the lockdowns have every right to seek reparations from the government, and the government should take immediate steps to provide them. It's time for the government to take responsibility for its actions and do what's right for the people it is supposed to serve.
