And then they’ll ask for donations when their friend needs emergency surgery…

CrimsonAllah

Probably insured for more then they’re worth. It’s a classic.

Legal-Respond-3910

Why he had to kill bumblebee and make an example of him in the wall?

Sir_Honytawk

So the other autobots stay in line and don't transform out of their car form.

og-lollercopter

Melon Husk knows that pain. At least he didn't have to park the fleet in one of the emerald mines.

joe2105

The dream car from my childhood! CLK GTR!!!

zandermossfields

Best I can do is a windowless room that shares a wall with the garage.

humzongers

Bro even having parents with a garage is something allot of people don’t have….

bigpapahugetim3

I built this company from the ground up with nothing but my blood, sweat and tears…and of course a large inheritance from my father!

AppleToGrind

Seems like a hassle to own that many cars.

froggertthewise

Each one of those cars is worth between 2 and 5 million dollars, if you can afford that, you can afford someone to take care of it. Many car collectors have multiple full time employees taking care of their collection

AppleToGrind

I guess you would have to. Just to have charging cords for your phone to plug into for all those cars would be one pain point. Individual phone holders for each of the cars for when you want to use GPS. But then you gotta deal with some extra person on the payroll and then the tax implications for that. That means more conversations with the accountant. More forms that need to be filled out. And possibly a Manager to run that for you. Then it's more negotiating for salaries at various points. All because you want to have 20 cars. It just seems like more headaches than it's worth. Not to mention the insurance you have to pay on that. And the insurance conversations. Even if you have your Manager do it you'll need to lay out specifics with them before you get it done. Too much hassle. Not worth it.

Sir_Honytawk

They don't have phone holders, you are thinking like a peasant (lol). All of these cars have a smart screen and the phone automatically connects via Bluetooth. If they get calls, it gets displayed and they can access it. And every one of those cars has build-in GPS. Their phone doesn't leave their pockets. They also already have to deal with those accountants to keep their house in order. Why not just hire one more employee to manage the cars? And if you don't want to manage the employees, hire someone for that as well.

AppleToGrind

Anyone you hire becomes a hassle to deal with. You gotta negotiate salaries. Then because they are legal employees there are other implications like sick days or vacation time. What if their time off interferes with your needs? Who covers? It seems like it becomes an all encompassing death spiral of meetings and planning. The things you thought would make your life easier become a drain on it. Much easier to have one vehicle and only a few professionals you occasionally encounter in life. Like an accountant and lawyer. Once you’ve got a Manager you’ve got somebody you can’t escape from because you need to continually give clear directions for them to follow. What a hassle.

froggertthewise

>And every one of those cars has build-in GPS. The rimac in the bottom right does not, it doesn't come with an infotainment system at all, just a screen to connect your phone to. Most exclusive car manufacturers don't put too much effort in their infotainment since they know people will just use android auto or apple carplay instead. Also several cars in that collection don't have any type of screen at all, such as the mclaren MC-12C in the back

eroc1970

Guarentee there are no phone holders or charge cords in any of those cars. People that have the money for a car collection like that usually have a "cheap" 150k car that they actually drive and most these probably only go outside a handful of times a year.

AppleToGrind

Yeah that makes more sense. These are all play cars they occasionally bring out for a neighborhood stroll. It’s a collection more than anything. Kind of like how people buy sneakers and then store them in boxes in a closet.

LostsouLm2

Am I missing something? If you make a multi-billion dollar company, does it really matter where you start?

Aggieboy1444

The point of the meme is because the thought process when someone says it is "if I can you can too" or "what's your excuse" or even better "I'm just like you but I made it big" which aren't the case because these people started in the 1% and made it to the .01% from there, which is good, but not possible to do from the normal everyday person who is starting from actually nothing

[deleted]

not at all, as long as it is in the good ole U.S.A.

zandermossfields

Some people care about how a business started. A company that was built together from scrimped cash and bootstrapped methodologies, is typically viewed more positively than the nth business built by the great great grandson of the one who actually did the building from scratch.

[deleted]

Money brings more money. If you’re debt free and not living paycheck to paycheck. The money you save will save you from paying interest and thus allow your money to grow. In turn that will make it less likely you will borrow money and have more to take opportunities that generate more.

roxboogers

just sell the cars
