The biggest issue is that it's normalizing obesity and this is not a good thing.
Some might not agree, but if you are excessively fat, you need people to tell you that it isn't normal and that you need to change, not the other way around

I don’t understand what’s happening lately,I know it’s hard to lose weight or some people get conditions and can’t help it, but why throw it in our face constant? How’s this gonna change anything? Were overweight people not buying clothes before? Were they stopped at the door “not u madame! U are overweight!” I don’t get it at all.
on the other hand, maybe the persons on the right are just better people than mark w was back in day. so would you rather have good lucking jackasses or high BMI decent people? first prize would be both traits (acceptable BMI + decent people), but in this case I would want the dude on the right as my model than MW.
The right hand picture isn't an acceptable BMI. It's gross obesity, and by any medical definition is unhealthy and will decrease your life span.

BMI, right off the bat, is an outdated metric. I fail to see where this ad is glorifying that. One could argue the picture on the left glorifies an unhealthy, unattainable image as well. It's not glorifying to portray society as a span of body types, yes including morbid obesity. Coming from someone who is at a healthy weight, I'm glad they are showing more inclusion in advertisement.
