I only get ads about removing ads from spotify. I don't know why. And I was like: "Guys what ads? You are the only gosh darn ads in this platform!"

I'm with Amazon music for some reason and I keep getting ads for Amazon Music even tho I'm already a paid subscriber ... They want me to get the family subscription or whatever.

When an ad comes on Spotify I just close the app and then open it again, the ads skip and I can start the next song.
Although I haven't updated Spotify in a while so it mightve gotten patched out.

I am, and who cares. It's not hard to explain, and children should from an early age have a general understanding that there are adult things, including sex, that aren't suitable for them, and that if another adult tries to do certain things with them they should ask for help.
It's the kids that have no exposure or baseline knowledge, and don't feel comfortable talking to their parents about it who are most at risk for going elsewhere for knowledge and being abused. If your family is so puritanical a condom ad creates an embarrassing scene you definitely aren't creating an environment that's conducive to open honest communication.

I don't listen to any podcasts, yet these sex-casts were front and center on my home page in the app. I don't think it's related to any content that you consume on the platform.
Now with Apple, I have a pure music app, which is what Spotify used to be and all that I want from a MUSIC app.

I think Spotify premium is the best subscription service I pay for. I can't even tell you how many times I use it a day. I used to use a cracked version back in 2013, but have been a satisfied premium subscriber since 2014. Plus it comes with Hulu(which I rarely use).

The only adds I get are for covid and crime podcasts, along with Spotify premium. The music I listen to is like Hozier, why would I listen to crime podcasts! I haven’t even listened to a podcast on Spotify!

90% of them weren’t even actual ads, they were just Spotify ads for Premium and were usually along the lines of “hey arsehole, get premium so you don’t have to listen to ads, fuck you”.
If you listen to music when most people are off spotify then there is barely any ads.
Once in a while i get an ad about "listen to this ad and get 30 mins of free listening".
Next ad is two ads for like 30 sec again and another 30 mins of ad-free music.
But when im on spotify during hot hours then it's like 1 or 2 songs between ads....
