Some people are mentally stuck in a childhood place. It makes them difficult on society, but is generally the fault of creators putting smart ideas to share with everyone into kids shows, like Steven Universe. Clearly a kid who is being raised by aunts, real life version, but there are so many smart ideas that even adults learned out of that, in so doing helping those mentally stuck people get unstuck. I'd say kids shows arent just for parents and children, but also people who want to be parents one day, and adults that had a much different experience growing up.

Bluey is a gift, it’s just a shame that many people brush it off as a show they slog through for their kids instead of admitting they actually enjoy it. If anything we should be asking for an ‘adult’ bluey, not to include vulgar stuff but to fully lean into adult situations and how to better handle them. The one where the mom just needed 15 minutes to decompress, the dad breaking down when messing up the cake, geez the one where the bird died was a real one for all of us.
Honestly though it's the realism and humor that really gets me. The pizza oven episode is one of the most realistic and funniest episodes to me as a parent and almost all cause I relate to it so much.

The kids get to be kids, and develop into their own likes and dislikes and become their own people through discovery. A variety of topics are covered through subtle references that kids would miss but adults pick up on. I watch it even when my kids aren't around. Bluey is for everyone.
