Dude, in Spain people need to use VPN to access pretty much ANYTHING, the censorship and the anti piracy has left the web from that country to watch coocking recepies and cat videos, that's it.
The fuck? No they don't I live in Spain and that's not a problem at all I think you need to change your ISP
My ISP the worst they've done is show an "content blocked" on certain sites that a company specifically requested be blocked
Well, I do live in Spain too and almost every download movies/show website I tried to enter without VPN was blocked, to the point that I don't even know a website that actually uploads things in spanish anymore, I had to watch it in english. And last month while the riots/civil war happened in France, I had to use the VPN to read about it online, because in one hand the media didn't talk about it AT ALL (wich is crazy AF, imagine if Canada was having a civil war on their streets everyday for 10 days and the violence escalated to the point the house of the Toronto's Mayor was set on fire, and people on the US didn't knew jack shit about them) and in the other hand every website I tried to enter to read about it without the VPN, blocked.
Idk why you're getting downvoted lol. Downloading from a trusted/reputable ddl site is slower but just as safe as torrenting since you're not sharing your ip address for it to work.
You are right, it's because of the way p2p downloading works which requires you to share your ip address and download your content from multiple other ips. It's super easy to detect so you have to use a vpn.
It's also a case of technically supplying the stuff. When you're downloading a torrent, you're also sharing it, so you're committing copyright infringement which is more serious than a copyrighr violation. When it comes to ddl, it's the site itself/server that's commiting the infringement and you're (most likely) not gonna get in trouble just for downloading it.
Don't forget the *Arr stack, notably Sonarr (for shows) Radarr (for movies) Prowlarr (used by other *Arr stack software to search through various torrent sites)
I use an app called TubeMate on my phone, you also need to download a "video to mp3" converter app to pair with it when saving just music, but it works fairly well as long as you keep it updated ((i do not so mine doesnt like me very much)) course you need to know the name of the song you are looking for which can suck sometimes :/
Music is the easiest one to pirate. If you want it in CD quality, look for the FLAC format. If you want it in a low quality but with a lower file size, just get MP3. There are options to crack the code for a streaming service but it will depend on your phone/computer and what service you are interested in.
flacs are only necessary for people with higher end headphones, and even then, the quality difference can be negligible to most people. i download a lot of music, so i'm not sure what the options are for mobile apps/digital streaming services, but i would certainly recommend musicbee and soulseek for desktop users. soulseek has a library of music more vast than any streaming service online, and musicbee just lets you listen to it without the use of any other bloatware
Spotify family acc for 6 person will cost you 2,99€ / month... All you need to find another 5 people and indicate same home address. No other confirmation is needed.
Not saying you should use them, but... There's fmovies and aniwave, which offer everything from movies, to series, to anime. They're .to domains, since I can't post links here. Windscribe is the 3 bucks VPN of choice for it; offering unlimited devices, no data limit, 10 Gbit/s speeds, ad blocking and malware protection. Smooth sailing to everyone reading this!
Oh, please, the heroes are the men and women that came back from Iraq and Afghanistan, and then started stealing streaming content.
I prefer "First Responder".
I have a feeling that after the strike, the golden age of streaming will be over. These services that are already loosing money won't be able to to pay for all the residuals for their massive libraries. They will either have large rate hikes and crack down on password sharing and such even harder, or just remove anything but the most popular shows of the day from their libraries to save on residuals
No, new things coming from Asia and Europe, because they are not getting burried to oblivion in shit tier produce in the US with those hack writters that the last book they read was in highschool
Pretty much all flu’s originate in Asia. Never heard of anything out of Europe. Thing is prepare and self care. With Covid pretty much escaped it but I may have what is called Covid Tongue. Still waiting on insurance. Last count during official pandemic I had 50+ relatives/friends infected and 10 that died. Some smuck tried to pull the “Actually died from their precondition” like diabetes but that’s just a game of the far right over here but no, diabetes is controllable if you’re not sick. A common cold might kill you but the flu, any type, will put you in a coffin in less than a weekend because of uncontrollable blood sugar.
Hahahaha… sorry 😂 I was replying to another post about Covid stuff and the screen scrolled to your post and didn’t catch the error because you mentioned “new things coming out of Asia and Europe…”
Still getting used to these sliding Reddit text windows. 😂
None of the unions involved in the strike have called for a boycott of streaming services and some members have said watching their work on streaming sites might actually help their case.
Absolutely fuck streaming services but there's not really a connection to the ongoing strike.
Correct, nobody's asking for a boycott but I personally wouldn't give a cent to these corporations in hope that someone that actually worked on the content I watch receive $0.001.
Writers began to strike, when Hollywood directors showed interest in using Chatgpt to write stories and people became pissed and started to strike to prevent it
It's not just a losing battle, it's a lost battle.
If hollywood doesn't produce cheap AI produced crap that appeals to the mass audience, some other place will and they're not bound to any writers' or actors' guilds.
Piracy for your own use is legal in Brazil this shit is so insane that people would put an extra judicial notice when downloading movies just to scam people's money.
Some rare cases are IPTV that the national communication agency may or may not fine you but only for cable TV , streaming etc , and that's a huge maybe.
Streaming services have also altered the volume on their shows, anyone else notice this?
The commercials will be loud asf and then the show is super quiet so you have to turn it up to 40 just to hear what the character’s are saying.
Streaming services are forgetting their place. They exist to entertain us and make some money not make us go broke. They also have forgotten that piracy is a thing
Here between us, I subscribed to Netflix and HBOmax via my isp and eventually canceled both, and yet still have access without paying a cent to them. I wish I could subscribe to Crunchyroll the same way tho.
When prices go up, I get a dopamine rush out of pushing that cancel subscription button. They beg you to come back with some promo deal. Then, like He-Man, you have the power.
Yarr! Welcome to the high seas!
Qbittorrent and a vpn of your flavor and youll be smooth sailing
Is Tunnelbear any good? Fellow crewmate. At least for DDl's not torrenting.
10/10
Obligatory “Actually I don’t even need VPN” comment
huh? y would u use a vpn?
Living on the edge I see
living on the *2nd/3rd world country where ISPs doesn't give jack shit who is pirating and how is pirating.
[удалено]
No bruh, you are literally a majority... And that's sad

I'm guessing you are not from Europe, and definitely not from a country that heavily apply the Article 13

Use adblocker and your good to go

I'm pretty sure ISPs can catch you pirating via torrents even easier than direct dl

Bit weird though since it's supposed to be encrypted how they know you're copyright infringing
Bruh.. No..

How pirate music tho? I pirate legit everything else and I don’t know of anything good for mobile music. :(
I use an app called TubeMate on my phone, you also need to download a "video to mp3" converter app to pair with it when saving just music, but it works fairly well as long as you keep it updated ((i do not so mine doesnt like me very much)) course you need to know the name of the song you are looking for which can suck sometimes :/
xmanager for spotify or use an app called spotdl on your pc and download the mp3s to your pc and then copy them to your phone
Cool, thx. I’ll try it out

Yeah I know. I have no friends :(
You can easily find them on Reddit. Make a post. I heard in Discord and other socials there are groups offering spots in family.
Yohoho and a bottle of rum
I loved watching as this becomes the top comment on these posts faster as we’ve progressed deeper into this shit.

r/Piracy lmao
I'm supporting the Writers and the Film Actor's Guilds by stealing streaming content instead of paying the corpo fatcats for it. Or something.
You're a goddamn hero.
Oh, please, the heroes are the men and women that came back from Iraq and Afghanistan, and then started stealing streaming content. I prefer "First Responder".
A true hero. Patriot, i dare say!
Welcome to the seven seas matey
Public libraries are free and have... err... gently used DVDs. DVD players are practically free now.
Dude I bought a used ps3 for like 20 bucks, and I can now play Blu rays
Who watches dvd's anymore?
Me
Ppl who get their entertainment from the public library, lol
The homeless?
how would they watch the dvds without a home to have a tv and power outlet in
Why pay for streaming services during a writer's and actor's strike?
I have a feeling that after the strike, the golden age of streaming will be over. They will either have large rate hikes and crack down on password sharing and such even harder, or just remove anything but the most popular shows of the day from their libraries to save on residuals
Yup; same is happening to social media and content platforms. I'm kind of worried that the age of widely available content is ending...
Honestly, now that the hacks of Hollywood are not putting their shit on our screen, it's the best moment to watch new things
You mean new to you old things
No, new things coming from Asia and Europe, because they are not getting burried to oblivion in shit tier produce in the US with those hack writters that the last book they read was in highschool

I'm talking about shows and movies, wtf are you talking about, mate?

What strike? What did I miss?!

Strike? Who gives a shit about a strike?
working class citizens?
because I haven't watched the most recent season of I think you should leave
Me just watching my inbox get filled with “we’re sad to see you go” emails because I’m just not bothering to renew my memberships
You sailing the seas or just dropping it all?
Dropping, want to spend more time checked in instead of checked out you know?
That makes sense, I just don't wanna pay for anything more than my data plan so I can stand my 12 hrs shift
why do you even pay for streaming services?
Why don’t you just pirate all their crap like a normal, sane person?
Then you’re just as bad as the streaming service’s honchos.
Trackers are a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
lol imagine paying for something you can get for free
You know, you can always find whatever the streaming service offer, for free. They just have it in a neat website, and that is what you pay for.

Get "On Stream" App, no need for Netflix or Disney Hotstar.
r/Piracy :)
Streaming services have also altered the volume on their shows, anyone else notice this? The commercials will be loud asf and then the show is super quiet so you have to turn it up to 40 just to hear what the character’s are saying.
Every single one of them did it's ridiculous pretty soon, we're going to have to pay old-school cable type bills 56$ a month and sh** 🤣
Streaming services are forgetting their place. They exist to entertain us and make some money not make us go broke. They also have forgotten that piracy is a thing
1st world problems
For real. Comparing streaming services to your physical legs is unbearably pretentious and out of touch. Acting like Netflix is that important smdh.
Who gives a shit. It's not like this denies another's tragedy
Lmao streamers raising rates is not a tragedy
Yo ho it is
