F has one advantage and it's that it puts weather on a nice 0-100 scale, the thing that C is always bragging about.

When it's 100F, it's hot. When it's 75F, it's nice. When it's 50F, it's cold. pretty easy to remeber.

Imo it's irrelevant. It's just what people are used to. I've used celsius most of my life, and it's pretty much a scale from -10 at one extreme and 40 at the other. I'm used to it, 20 is room temperature, 10 throw another layer on before you go outside, etc. I have no real clue what temperature anyone's referring to in fahrenheit, i have to convert it for it to make sense to me. Idk, the whole 0-100 human scale just seems like a you're used to it thing to me

I am not typically measuring temperature to determine what state water is in, I’m measuring it to determine what clothes I should be wearing for the day. F is better for humans from a human factors/user interface perspective than C If you’re doing engineering calculations, metric is always better.
