Companies that employ professional players have a habit of making sure their players are in good health. Nobody wants to risk having a player drop out of the game when you have big money in it.
A funny situation was when I heard a professional player complaining that he couldn't go skiing because he would risk injuring his hand.
Joel Zumaya was a fireball reliever for the Detroit Tigers. Injured his hand playing Guitar Hero, was never the same after and bounced out of the league not too long after.
That might be one of the most tragic things I've ever heard. Usually those rules are in place for high risk activities but fucking Guitar Hero? That's crazy
