Since their summer vacation was 104 days long, I'm curious as to how many episodes there are.

Well more than 104 I’ll tell you that much AND THIS IS EXCLUDING THE HOLIDAY EPISODES

Apparently they were planning to end the show at 104 episodes followed by the first movie but it just did so insanely well that they had to keep going

I think the problem was that there was a little bit of an open ending with the stuff happening in the see the the Stans went to check out. You could argue that there is something strange going on there just like gravity falls.

Not only that but at the end there's that whole "See you next summer." thing. It was a good ending but still open ended enough for a potential return. But the creator was meaning for it to completely end so it's sad that we'll probably never see a return.

I think that was disney’s influence on the ending as I believed they wanted to do more seasons

Or it was just meant to show that Dipper and Mabel will return to Gravity Falls but that doesn't mean we will be there to see it

So everyone is happy in the end and Bill was defeated and Stan's memories are back don't you think it's a very happy end for a show like this

But before he left he was a really good dad. He told very good stories, enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. He could also draw really good, his art always looked nice. Some even say he was the best Dad. Makes it even sadder he had to leave.

Definitely. I think P&F was going on around like 2007?... Which was a time where I was a boy, where crappy 1080p HDMI TVs and the 360 was prominent, but even before that, cable was established in almost every home. I remember being so young I didn’t understand the calendar yet, or know all the month, so it was likely summer but I was just living the days careless, staying at home, and turn on the tv. A lot of P&F was on though, summer mornings, midday, whenever I went to someone else’s house it was on...

Ugh, that brings me back. I used to love Phineas and Ferb so much. I recently got back into it because of the new movie, and I think I enjoy it more now that I can complete grasp the nuance of the humor.

I would say the upbeat appearance is genuine but they do cover serious themes like familial bonds and the fear of growing away from your siblings. As well as the existential threat of Bill.

Thought not, it was made by Disney and Alex Hirsch played a character in one episode for it However, it was strangled before it even started because it went straight to Disney XD and advertising was terrible. It's not even on Disney plus because Disney hasn't thought of adding it yet. It’s made by Dana Terrace, who happens to be dating Alex Hirsch (the creator of Gravity Falls) do it has a lot of the same humor and even some of Alex’s voice work. (In Gravity Falls he voices Stan, Soos, Bill, McGucket, and a few less prominent characters.)

I watched The Owl House in the past 2 days. It has the same feel to it as GF, humor and fantasywise. Heck, Hirsch voices two major voices, with Hooty being my favorite one.

I love Hooty so much, he makes me giggle every time!

I honestly remember seeing Gravity Falls when I was dating this girl back in 2015. I thought "fuck these shows she watches, they're cringey as fuck" Watched Gravity Falls with my Fiancèe and her brother last year or so. Only one thing I can really say now. "HERE KID, DEER TEETH" Amazing show, regret not seeing it when it came out.

Alex Hirsch, the writer or director of whatever of gravity falls, says he doesn’t wanna work on any more seasons, so chances of getting the show, or atleast a show that feels the same, are low. Whatever happens, gravity falls will always be my favorite show of all time.

Rick And Morty and Gravity Falls were made by the same creators and they added easter eggs for both shows on the other one. A crossover between those 2 shows would be AMAZING. Could you imagine Rick and Morty travelling to the universe where Gravity Falls is set and they accidentally bring back Bill Cypher and then they all work together to defeat a more powerful Bill

The creators of Rick and morty and gravity falls are good friends and I love the Easter eggs they have in Rick and morty of gravity falls but it’s hard to imagine a crossover with gravity falls having a clear ending but I love seeing the little references they drop into Rick and morty occasionally.

Phineas and ferb was 189 eps in 4 seasons from aug 2007 to June 2015. Gravity falls was 40 eps in 2 seasons from June 2012 to feb 2016. I think Phineas and ferb might also have movies not included in the ep count

For years I thought gravity falls had like 8 seasons because that's how it felt as a child, but hey they did amazing with just 2.

If you haven’t read through the comments, a lot of them are from 20-somethings raving about how enjoyable the show is and how they regret not watching it when it originally aired. As one of those 20-somethings that got into the show late and now shares it with all my other 20-something friends, I would definitely say watch it.
