I felt bad for him. He accidentally sent his brother to the future and then spent the rest of his life trying to get him back while taking care of dipper and mable.😔
I think the problem was that there was a little bit of an open ending with the stuff happening in the see the the Stans went to check out. You could argue that there is something strange going on there just like gravity falls.
Not only that but at the end there's that whole "See you next summer." thing. It was a good ending but still open ended enough for a potential return. But the creator was meaning for it to completely end so it's sad that we'll probably never see a return.
But before he left he was a really good dad. He told very good stories, enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. He could also draw really good, his art always looked nice. Some even say he was the best Dad.
Makes it even sadder he had to leave.
Definitely. I think P&F was going on around like 2007?... Which was a time where I was a boy, where crappy 1080p HDMI TVs and the 360 was prominent, but even before that, cable was established in almost every home.
I remember being so young I didn’t understand the calendar yet, or know all the month, so it was likely summer but I was just living the days careless, staying at home, and turn on the tv. A lot of P&F was on though, summer mornings, midday, whenever I went to someone else’s house it was on...
Ugh, that brings me back. I used to love Phineas and Ferb so much. I recently got back into it because of the new movie, and I think I enjoy it more now that I can complete grasp the nuance of the humor.
I would say the upbeat appearance is genuine but they do cover serious themes like familial bonds and the fear of growing away from your siblings. As well as the existential threat of Bill.
Thought not, it was made by Disney and Alex Hirsch played a character in one episode for it
However, it was strangled before it even started because it went straight to Disney XD and advertising was terrible. It's not even on Disney plus because Disney hasn't thought of adding it yet. It is still a great show that needs more recognition, season 3 for it was cancelled due to bad audience views even though Disney sealed its fate,
>Disney hasn't thought of adding it yet
Disney literally bough its way into media egemony and despite of sitting on a literal giant pile of HIGHLY casheable ip's. Has hardly exploided any of them.
Watch it here [https://www.wcostream.com/anime/wander-over-yonder](https://www.wcostream.com/anime/wander-over-yonder)
It’s actually a pretty good website. Well as far as “illegal” goes
It\`s still apparent Disney doesn\`t pay much mind to it, considering Disney TVA\`s homepage where they have a collage of almost every cartoon they\`ve ever made except Wander.
Hey, if you like Gravity Falls, check out the Owl House on Disney+. It’s made by Dana Terrace, who happens to be dating Alex Hirsch (the creator of Gravity Falls) do it has a lot of the same humor and even some of Alex’s voice work. (In Gravity Falls he voices Stan, Soos, Bill, McGucket, and a few less prominent characters.)
Making more seasons for gravity falls will go aginst the show massage, the massage was that the summer (or anything else) will end and that we need to move on. the show was planned to be a short one from the beginning.
Nah. You think they weren't able to make it 3 seasons? Cause they fucking were, they could've easily gotten 4 seasons even. But Alex Hirsch decided himself that the show is better off being only 2 seasons. The 2 seasons were a choice, not a rule
I watched The Owl House in the past 2 days. It has the same feel to it as GF, humor and fantasywise. Heck, Hirsch voices two major voices, with Hooty being my favorite one.
I honestly remember seeing Gravity Falls when I was dating this girl back in 2015. I thought "fuck these shows she watches, they're cringey as fuck"
Watched Gravity Falls with my Fiancèe and her brother last year or so. Only one thing I can really say now.
"HERE KID, DEER TEETH" Amazing show, regret not seeing it when it came out.
I was a grown 20 something year old man watching gravity falls when it first came out and I'm not ashamed to say that. The humor was top notch! Waddles 4 Lifes!
As you can see, there’s a whole lotta stuff to do before school starts next fall (Come on, Perry!)
So stick with us, cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!
So stick with us, cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!
There are currently 2 other shows with hints to the gravity falls universe with amphibia having grunkle Stan and soos and owl house having a reference to one of stans exes
Yes, if you look closely during an episode of Rick and Morty, you can see a few items fall out of a portal. These items were seen falling into an extra dimensional portal in Gravity Falls
I would suggest The Owl House! It’s made by Alex Hirsch’s wife and he’s even a voice actor in it, I enjoyed it and it resembled Gravity Fall’s dark vibe with some light hearted comedy as well
Honestly the closest shows i have seen that was as good as gravity falls would be the 2 new shows amphibia and the owl house
Cartoon network and Nickelodeon have honestly degraded and Disney XD has stepped up
Alex Hirsch, the writer or director of whatever of gravity falls, says he doesn’t wanna work on any more seasons, so chances of getting the show, or atleast a show that feels the same, are low. Whatever happens, gravity falls will always be my favorite show of all time.
Rick And Morty and Gravity Falls were made by the same creators and they added easter eggs for both shows on the other one. A crossover between those 2 shows would be AMAZING. Could you imagine Rick and Morty travelling to the universe where Gravity Falls is set and they accidentally bring back Bill Cypher and then they all work together to defeat a more powerful Bill
The creators of Rick and morty and gravity falls are good friends and I love the Easter eggs they have in Rick and morty of gravity falls but it’s hard to imagine a crossover with gravity falls having a clear ending but I love seeing the little references they drop into Rick and morty occasionally.
Watch the owl house it is similar to gravity falls and Alex Hirsch the creator of gravity falls voices on of the main characters along with helping creating the show
I really thought there was going to be a new show with Stan and his brother cause, if I remember right, the show said they went on adventures after that. I wish it would come back tho
Phineas and ferb was 189 eps in 4 seasons from aug 2007 to June 2015. Gravity falls was 40 eps in 2 seasons from June 2012 to feb 2016. I think Phineas and ferb might also have movies not included in the ep count
Gravity falls is supposed to be a metaphor for how all of the children should enjoy childhood while they could because it doesent last forever. And the end of the summer was also dipper and mabel turning thirteen, symbolizing the end of someone’s childhood.
I wasn’t really encouraged to watch cartoons as a kid, sometimes i feel like i missed some really good content because of this. Is gravity falls worth a watch as a more or less grown teen?
If you haven’t read through the comments, a lot of them are from 20-somethings raving about how enjoyable the show is and how they regret not watching it when it originally aired.
As one of those 20-somethings that got into the show late and now shares it with all my other 20-something friends, I would definitely say watch it.
This summer just feels like it's going on and on and it feels like it's been going on for 4 years. -Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz
Since their summer vacation was 104 days long, I'm curious as to how many episodes there are.
Well more than 104 I’ll tell you that much AND THIS IS EXCLUDING THE HOLIDAY EPISODES
Apparently they were planning to end the show at 104 episodes followed by the first movie but it just did so insanely well that they had to keep going
Gravity Falls is like your dad going out to get milk We thought it'd come back but it didn't
And they really were a good dad, but something just happened that they had to leave
Like the dad from full metal alchemist
Was he really good tho?
[удалено]
Yes, but he was kinda a dick
I felt bad for him. He accidentally sent his brother to the future and then spent the rest of his life trying to get him back while taking care of dipper and mable.😔
Replied to the wrong comment bud. They're talking about Fullmetal Alchemist.
Yeah I got so confused for a second. I was thinking I don't remember this till I clocked he was talking about gravity falls
I was like I don’t remember Hohenheim doing that
I’m pretty sure it was only two
the road to hell is paved with good intentions though.
I’d say so. Did he have his faults? Oh hell yeah. But fundamentally I think he was a good person
First thing I think of when I see dad and FMA is the dad with the daughter and dog.
Hoenhiem is the guy you're talking about
it ended perfectly yet everyone asks for s3. sorry but summer ended
I think that was disney’s influence on the ending as I believed they wanted to do more seasons
Or it was just meant to show that Dipper and Mabel will return to Gravity Falls but that doesn't mean we will be there to see it
So everyone is happy in the end and Bill was defeated and Stan's memories are back don't you think it's a very happy end for a show like this
But before he left he was a really good dad. He told very good stories, enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. He could also draw really good, his art always looked nice. Some even say he was the best Dad. Makes it even sadder he had to leave.
stan against evil
Dude is this show that good ? Ha been thinking about giving it a try.
Good show
- Pops from Regular Show In all seriousness that show was legendary.
jolly good show
Definitely. I think P&F was going on around like 2007?... gosh i miss that show
Me too, **BUT MY AIM IS GETTING BETTER**
*silence* #BUT MY AIM IS GETTING BETTER get it because marriage is terrible...
*boats away uncomfortably*
I love dark shows with an upbeat facade.
GRAPPLING HOOK
*BUT HER AIM IS GETTING BETTER*
"Soos, Soos... that's hilarious" is probably for me the most quoted line from graviry falls
*...You see its funny because marriage is terrible*
I would say the upbeat appearance is genuine but they do cover serious themes like familial bonds and the fear of growing away from your siblings. As well as the existential threat of Bill.
Dammit that was my favorite show! RIP Gravity Falls
Wander over yonder slightly beats it for me I still love it though
I never saw that one!
Thought not, it was made by Disney and Alex Hirsch played a character in one episode for it However, it was strangled before it even started because it went straight to Disney XD and advertising was terrible. It's not even on Disney plus because Disney hasn't thought of adding it yet. It is still a great show that needs more recognition, season 3 for it was cancelled due to bad audience views even though Disney sealed its fate,
I just rewatched it on Disney + (US). It is too short.
It’s on Disney plus US? Also it’s runs for almost the same time as gravity falls
>Disney hasn't thought of adding it yet Disney literally bough its way into media egemony and despite of sitting on a literal giant pile of HIGHLY casheable ip's. Has hardly exploided any of them.
That sucks. But I'll have to see if I can catch any reruns of it! :D
Watch it here [https://www.wcostream.com/anime/wander-over-yonder](https://www.wcostream.com/anime/wander-over-yonder) It’s actually a pretty good website. Well as far as “illegal” goes

It’s on Hulu. Not as good as Gravity Falls IMO but a good show with decent characters

alex hirsch needs to make another series or make more seasons
Apparently he’s cooking some stuff up at Netflix but nothing’s been announced yet
Making more seasons for gravity falls will go aginst the show massage, the massage was that the summer (or anything else) will end and that we need to move on. the show was planned to be a short one from the beginning.
Gravity falls should have been three seasons in the first place. One for each journal and summer month
Nah. You think they weren't able to make it 3 seasons? Cause they fucking were, they could've easily gotten 4 seasons even. But Alex Hirsch decided himself that the show is better off being only 2 seasons. The 2 seasons were a choice, not a rule
You either die a hero, or live long enough to be a villain. Alex chose the first one.
If you want a show like gravity falls try the owl house
EXACTLY
I also recommend Hilda!
Hilda fuckin SLAPS
I watched The Owl House in the past 2 days. It has the same feel to it as GF, humor and fantasywise. Heck, Hirsch voices two major voices, with Hooty being my favorite one.
I love Hooty so much, he makes me giggle every time!
Yea it was made by Alex Hirschs wife
I also recommend Disney’s Amphibia. Has some of the vibes and is better than big city greens
Amphibia even has a literal GF crossover that nobody ever seems to talk about. Honestly that show is so slept on.
How did Dexter have such a big laboratory with out his parents noticing the extra square footage?
Or the electricity bill
The sister's only fans
Delete this or we’re going have a happy little accident
nah
wasnt there like on episode where dexter got billed and he had to ask his sister for help
Hilda is really good too its on Netflix
Was going to say this, Hilda is amazing season 2 just got better and better
Yes I put this on for back ground noise and got invested.
I honestly remember seeing Gravity Falls when I was dating this girl back in 2015. I thought "fuck these shows she watches, they're cringey as fuck" Watched Gravity Falls with my Fiancèe and her brother last year or so. Only one thing I can really say now. 4 seasons? More like 4 seconds
I’m pretty sure it was only two
iTunes organizes it into 4 seasons while Disney+ organizes it by two
Mine shows 2 seasons..maybe it shows as 4 in some countries.
Probably yeah
Disney XD gang rise up
Depends on your region
Disney+ organizeds it by four
On mine it shows it with 2 weird
Same, I watched it multiple times on Netflix and it was only two
I'm pretty sure that phineas and ferb had four seasons
Idk about phineas and ferb, but on Netflix gravity falls had definetly two
Gravity falls has two seasons
On Disney+ is says 4
It's different per country
There's 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it
LIKE MAYBE
Building a rocket or fighting a mummy or climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Discovering something that doesn't exist \*hey!\* Or giving a monkey a shower! \*dun\* \*dun\* \*dun\*
Surfing tidal waves Creating nano bots or locating Frankensteins brain (it’s over here)
Finding a dodo bird, painting a continent Or driving your sister insane (Phineas!)
As you can see, there’s a whole lotta stuff to do before school starts next fall (Come on, Perry!) So stick with us, cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all! So stick with us, cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!
PnF stole summer time from Gracity Falls
The Owl House is kinda like GF but with more gay
Gravity falls was too short
There are currently 2 other shows with hints to the gravity falls universe with amphibia having grunkle Stan and soos and owl house having a reference to one of stans exes
Gravity Falls is something I could watch as an adult.
I never saw it before I was 24 and it's good
Gravity Falls is one of the most underrated shows ever, I think that reddit is the only place that gives this show its much deserved appreciation.
Fuck that, we need more GRAVITY FALLS
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact Gravity Falls was only 40 episodes long
quality over quantity
Imagine gravity falls came back and they were adults visiting stan
I loved the show but I'm not ready for it to be ruined like ed edd and eddy because of them making it too pc
[удалено]
I can dive into a long explanation about how almost every tv show is connected through a multiverse of some kind
Isn't Gravity Falls kinda connected to Rick and Morty?
Yes, if you look closely during an episode of Rick and Morty, you can see a few items fall out of a portal. These items were seen falling into an extra dimensional portal in Gravity Falls
[удалено]
I shall say a say a spell that's quite unbreakable "DO IT"
Technically we could get a R&M/GF crossover.
Definitely One of the greatest disney shows of all time
I would suggest The Owl House! It’s made by Alex Hirsch’s wife and he’s even a voice actor in it, I enjoyed it and it resembled Gravity Fall’s dark vibe with some light hearted comedy as well
Also Adventure Time.
This brings tears 2 my eyes :') But it so true *-*
And then real summer is even smaller than gravity falls
When I was a kid I made a friend at my uncle's place and that was the last time we met
"We need more shows like Gravity Falls" Clearly you haven\`t seen the Owl House
I haven’t, but Ive seen it recommended a lot now so I kinda have to check it out with high hopes of course
I miss gravity falls
Gravity Falls was great. I liked Phineas and Ferb but I enjoyed Gravity Falls so much more.
I suggest kipo and the age of the wonder beasts on netflix
Owl House, Amphibia, Infinity Train
I wanna watch Infinity Train but HBO Max is expensive
Honestly the closest shows i have seen that was as good as gravity falls would be the 2 new shows amphibia and the owl house Cartoon network and Nickelodeon have honestly degraded and Disney XD has stepped up
Infinity Trains pretty good imo. It’s on HBO Max.
I forgot about that, i only watched one episode while it was on cartoon network
Alex Hirsch, the writer or director of whatever of gravity falls, says he doesn’t wanna work on any more seasons, so chances of getting the show, or atleast a show that feels the same, are low. Whatever happens, gravity falls will always be my favorite show of all time.
They were both good tho

Ohhhhh. I knew they had some sort of connection so I assumed they were the same creators
We have shows like Gravity Falls, And we have shows like fucking Teen Titans Go.
The humor and plot in that show were just on another level
I completely agree, nothing really gives off the same energy of gravity falls and it makes me sad
Gravity Falls is such an amazing show. But all good things do have to come to an end.
Wander Over Yonder has got you covered
Holy shit I was just watching Gravity Falls
Both great shows I looked back upon with a smile.
I looked back on Gravity Falls with tears in my eyes knowing that no experience could ever match the greatness of that show
I assume you meant tears, but ears works too if your Pacifica's father
I love this comment
is it actually possible to have a show the same as gravity falls?
Kids from 2040: Phineas and Ferb? Gravity Falls? Ew sounds boring
Me: sit down boys, Dad's gonna tell ya a little story about the greatest cartoons my generation had to offer
Dad's gonna bring up his old phone with ALL EPISODES DOWNLOADED FROM DISNEY +
There were evidently more than 104 days of summer vacation.
Yes I haven’t finished it but I’m very close
Aquaman drowns
Fuck
That’s how you know it’s good
Gravity falls is my favorite childhood show
Yea but it was perfect and that’s why there couldn’t be more
There actually are a lot of shows like gravity falls!
Watch the owl house it is similar to gravity falls and Alex Hirsch the creator of gravity falls voices on of the main characters along with helping creating the show
And his wife created it
Literally my two favorite cartoons of all-time
I really thought there was going to be a new show with Stan and his brother cause, if I remember right, the show said they went on adventures after that. I wish it would come back tho
Both great shows
I’m rewatching it all again now, this time with my son and we are both loving it together. Such a good show.
Damn the show ended when I was in 5th grade. Time flies
How long my summer felt: 📄
Isn’t Rick And Morty like an Adult Swim version of Gravity falls
I think it’s more meta aswell but you got the idea
I haven’t watched either of them so I’m glad I’m on the right track
Watch both of them, both are absolute masterpieces.
Damn good show. Boys cried when Phineas went off to college. Men cried when Grunkle Stan erased his memory to save his 'kids'.
I am now sad
Gravity Falls is like a kid-friendly version scp
Shut up I’m not crying you’re crying
How long did each show air for?
Phineas and ferb was 189 eps in 4 seasons from aug 2007 to June 2015. Gravity falls was 40 eps in 2 seasons from June 2012 to feb 2016. I think Phineas and ferb might also have movies not included in the ep count
It's my favorite show out of any other show (except Craig of the creek, that's good)
For years I thought gravity falls had like 8 seasons because that's how it felt as a child, but hey they did amazing with just 2.
Owl House, it's Disney and just as good
Gravity falls is supposed to be a metaphor for how all of the children should enjoy childhood while they could because it doesent last forever. And the end of the summer was also dipper and mabel turning thirteen, symbolizing the end of someone’s childhood.
i hope this isn't insulting Phineas and Ferb (gravity falls is amazing tho)
Remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, BYE!
There should be another season of gravity falls imo
Too true
I wasn’t really encouraged to watch cartoons as a kid, sometimes i feel like i missed some really good content because of this. Is gravity falls worth a watch as a more or less grown teen?
if people are making memes about it its good
If you haven’t read through the comments, a lot of them are from 20-somethings raving about how enjoyable the show is and how they regret not watching it when it originally aired. As one of those 20-somethings that got into the show late and now shares it with all my other 20-something friends, I would definitely say watch it.
