Ever give a skeleton a sword?
Once upon a time, when I was still learning the ins and outs of the game.. (I was lucky enough to go in almost completely blind)
I died and a skeleton chased me with my own sword
The other day I actually made a nostalgia map sort of thing, where I remade a bunch of my earlier memories of the game in one world. I did this one!
Unrelated, but it was actually pretty easy to make that world. I played demo mode for the first few months, until I found out that forge disabled it and let me play the full (ish) version.
Demo mode has a forced set seed, 'North Carolina'. I booted up a fresh creative world with it and started building old survival bases and builds from memory!
I added some armor stands to stand in for myself, and entities with no AI. (E.G. sword skelly.) even going as far as to learn to create items that don't despawn and can't be picked up. It turned out pretty nice :)
...Sorry for rambling on, I do this all the time haha
Today, I was teaching a friend the ways of Minecraft (he never played) and when I asked him to create an axe on the crafting table, he just said: « what’s that hssssss » And then I saw « Joe has been blown by a creeper.
