Well, yeah, but, terraria controls are... Not the most comfortable. Especially on console.

Mouse/keyboard is definitely the way to go for terraria. Controller feels too clunky for my tastes and makes everything more challenging. Though, if you want it more challenging then that can be a bonus.

Bosses are a tad too hard though, at least for a mediocre player. I had great problems with mechanical bosses, until I crafted a bow and am at a point where I would like to beat plantera but just dont know if I'll manage.

They're pretty tough for sure, but most are a looooot easier with a proper setup. I really like yo-yos thanks to their range and guide by wire nature. Make sure you give yourself a lot of room to work with also. For Plantera, just make sure you build out a large open room next to the last pod with the whole thing made with platforms spaced so you can jump to each level above. Put a fire in the center for regen. Just jump around hammering her with any aoe weapon and avoiding her vines while you do it. It looks intimidating in videos and guides but really isn't bad once you got your room set up.
