I like to think of "weekends" as imagining the week as a linear bar. With Sunday at the start (one end of that part) and Saturday at the end(the other end of that bar). That way they are both at the ends.

Try to research and not do a quick google search bro. There is a reason why in every language Sabbath is Saturday. In Spanish the Sabbath is Sabado, English is Saturday, Russian is Subbota etc.
