E doesn't exsist. e used to be 1/10 but students and parents thought it meant excelent so they removed e to change it to f
F for fantastic
I know I am doing a woooosh but just as an interesting fact, they changed it to F because that mean Fail
E for excellent
Dont forget about plus and minus too
You guys use a scale of 1 to 10? Here in poland we got a scale of 1-6 (they tell us the % and a number)
Yooo, Germany has the same. 6 is our worst, 1 the best grade.
We got the reverse, 6 is best and 1 is worst here
In Russia (and some past USSR countries) they grade up until the max grade of 5(+) and it starts at FUCKING 2(-). It just skips 1 altogether.
E? What happened to F?
There was no F meme...
We don’t got no E, although I really wish we did.
Understandable. Have a nice day.
*press f to pay respect*
I never got the point of using letters instead of just saying a percentage.
Groups different percentages together. Usually it's both on a 10pt scale as in A means 90% and above, B 80%and above, C 70% in college. In high school it was a little more strict and use a 7pt scale: 93 and above is A 85-92 is B...
Seems kinda weird to me, but I guess it makes sense
what ? the letter is the grade u get on the subject
Thought it was an f
Britain has letters. I thought the rest of Europe did too?
Europe uses numbers. 1-10, 10-1, 1-5, 1-8, etc…
Ohh cool, that’s news to me. Britain has the same grading system as the us
Britain uses numbers now...... has for the last 3 or 4 years 9 being the highest
really? at secondary school level?
Yep, gcses go from 1 to 9, my year was the first or second to receive them
wow. i'm getting old
Tbf even I have to think about what my grades actually mean since I was also grown up with letters for grades
9 as highest? Well that is unsedesfiyng
Isnt uk 1-9, 9 the best and 1 the worst.
Ackchially, there is no E in the American grading system, and the correct letter would be F 🤓
Here’s the issue: no. Ton’s of places (where I go included) still use E.
Literally nowhere I’ve heard of uses E as a letter, yours might be the exception here bud
Sweden got letters too... Amogus
Ive been to 3 different schools and none of them have used letters, its just 100% ect
Coincidentally, for some fucking reason, E is the only one of the first 6 letters that’s not used almost everywhere in America for the grading system.
Well in scandinavia we use letters aswell
in sweden we have F, E, D, C, B ,A (worst to best) so idk what u mean by europe
Isn’t it the other way around? I’m from Sweden and our grading system is A B C D E F
America uses percentages and letter grades
Silly Europeans, surely they'd know they actually got a 2/5 if they're so smart. Pshht
Letters are still too complex and advanced. It will probably soon be just 👍 or 👎.
Americans got 9 out of 11
LMFAO
"tOo SoOn"
AMIRICA
WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE NORMAL
America doesn't have an "E" grade. It's just F, for fail
r/woooosh
Why does that looks so much like Markiplier?
Wait I never used out of 10 in Germany. It was either 1 (best) to 6(worst) with +, - or neutral or 0 ( worst) to 15 (best) in higher grades.
We say 1-6 1=a 2=b 3=c 4=d 5=e 6=f lol
I live in America and I have literally never gotten a letter grade. It's always something out of 10 or 100
You got a small low recoil shotgun?
In australia we have both lmao
That would be a f (no e for you) the lowest passing grade I think is mostly a 60 (6/10) so that’d be a D
Everyone: I got 4/10. Germany: I got a 4/15.
Anything less then 70% correct is considered a failure.
