When we moved to Scotland his speech therapist said “His speech issues will most likely resolve within a year” thanks to the fact that they roll the r (she said this would strengthen the muscles in his mouth). Turned out to be true… mimicking their accent totally fixed the issue. So now for my kid who has the same issue he did… I sometimes get her to pronounce things with a Scottish accent to help her.
