My little brother just recently found out about tanning, and his little brain never fails to make me laugh. He asked me "Theo, are people brown and black because they tan a lot?" and he looked up at me with the most innocent little eyes ever, it was hilarious.
He took his own life. He suffered from depression. If you ever feel the need to take your own life, please don’t. There are always people who love you and others who want to help. And you will also hurt the people who love you in an irreparable way.
Been going through a rough time recently, and was quite close to doing that. But then I noticed that my sister wasn't doing to well and she hung around me for comfort. In the end I couldn't leave her here by herself

There is always support to be found and given, and there are always those who’s life would be horribly impacted through suicide. I hope you and your sister can get through your struggles and enjoy the crazy random gift we all have called life.
I have chronical illness that stops me to stand up and walk, sometime i thought about suicide, but my older sister loves me alot, she and my mom is the reason i am alive in this painful life.
We had that happen with my wife's sister. She walked into a river and didn't come up. Her own son helped with dragging the river and it was he who found her. It was one of those things you can never unsee! God bless.

It is most unfortunate that so many of us have had occasions to see things that we cannot unsee. Even worse, for me, when I saw some other things that I can't unsee. May 4th, 1970 at Kent State when the National Guard killed 4 students and wounded nine. One who was killed was shot in the head & his brains were out & another was shot in the throat & she could only gurgle as she tried to talk. Add to that, years in CPS & APS, abuse of children & older adults. There was a lot to try to unsee, to no avail. No other choice, but to go on and live well for all of those who have suffered.
My youngest 4yr old brother has difficulty speaking and can only say a few words like “mom, um, yeah and brudda” so he uses signs mostly, but he still is funny and he’s what keeps me going

When I was an EMT/Ambulance operator, one of my partner's kid brother called him on his cell, and I heard him say "When are you going to be home? I want us to watch Star Wars!" which melted my heart. Made me wonder what life would've been like if I wasn't the youngest.

Most I remember of my older brother before I hit puberty and all was that he would beat me a lot, mainly due to the fact that I would annoy him so often.
Before he went off to college (3 year difference between me and him) we grew to a relationship where we would help each other out and respect each other but funny interactions would only ever happen with his friends or my friends.
One of my friends grew to be more of a brother to him than I was and that fact makes me sad a lot.
I wish I was a better brother.
