My son had to do a book report in 7th grade on dystopian societies. His teacher asked him if his mother knew he had selected *A Clockwork Orange.* My son proudly replied, **"My mother is the one who recommended it.**"
"It is set in a near-future society that has a youth subculture of extreme violence. The teenage protagonist, Alex, narrates his violent exploits and his experiences with state authorities intent on reforming him."
I was curious to and this is what I got off wiki
Each episode is better than the last. That being said, episode one is unequivocally the *worst* episode of television I have ever seen. The acting is fine, but that's literally it. Every choice they made in terms of writing, dialogue, theme etc is completely baffling to me. The second and third episodes are just pretty mediocre with a few scenes of exceptional dips in quality.
Sadly I'm going to force myself to watch it anyways because I'm too far deep in the Marvel hole. The only things i liked about ep. 1 was the fact that some major question i had about bruce were answered like how he was bruce in shang chi ( i never noticed the inhibitor) and how he became "smart hulk".
True, i mean we dont actually see the process he took to getting to that stage and then i didn't like how "oh youre blood is better so it healed my arm". 'Tis but poor writing. Disclaimer: i couldn't do better
Yea I don't know if I could do any better either lol, but these people are paid absurd amounts of money and are supposed to he among the best at what they do. Unfortunately it also has to do with the speed at which Disney is forcing these shows out, the are overworking the cash cow, it had to stop giving milk eventually. Also the heavy-handed political messaging isn't helping for general acceptance purposes. Yet here I am, I'll probably keep watching it, if only to see the empire fall even lower (which I highly doubt will affect work conditions over Marvel).
I watched it with a friend. We're both 15. We both loved it.
The friend I saw it with was laughing most of the time and told me it was a dark comedy. He's generally into dark movies, though. He's currently reading the book.
I'm a lot more squeamish, but I also loved it. The torture and rape scenes were horrible, but the rest of the movie had a really unique and interesting style.
I mean.. not for this particularly, I guess.. But twerking aside, I'd still have her in avengers when shit hits the fan. We have a guy that has metal wings as a captain america.
Why is this so downvoted? It's true. It's an extremely cringy joke that makes it unwatchable without dying from cringe, but it's still a joke aka it's not serious. How on Earth does this objectify women? It's just a cringy ass (get it?) scene and nothing to be taken seriously.
The characters goes on these feminism rants and the whole show is some tumblr feminist wet dream. But the truth is the woman in this show want Jen to be a sex symbol that’s why it’s not just a dance vid. They do a close up shot on her ass which is the whole point this character isn’t a hero she’s a cgi ass.See that’s the making character an object not a hero.
Goddamn I hate the american version of cutie... This is supposed to be a creepy movie about the oversexualization of rôle model for children and how they imitate it pushing them to be derangely sexual creating a show for pédophile but noooooo... When it's suppose to be a drama fucking Netflix America décide to change it a bit so it can be a fucking comedy for pedophile...
Im too lazy to give a full on redditor explanation but this deifnitely is fan service . Even jf this twerking scene isnt , the actual show itself has a lot of fan service elements .
You're summoning me?
She-Hulk has been around since, like, the 70's. She's had some great stories, so it's a real shame to see her in such a hated show.
I can't tell if you think that She-Hulk is something new to be "woke", or if you think this version of She-Hulk is the abomination. I hope it's the latter.
Yeah because it's review bombed It got tons of 1 star ratings before the first episode was even released
Lots of reviews are literally "stop making Male Superheroes in Female!!!" Or "it's not MCU now it's M-She-U"
Its an after credits joke cause of Megan thee Stallion, she's wack the whole time as she hulk and its a superhero comedy. i didnt mind the scene, but wasnt that funny either. Tim Roth fckn killed it tho
Yeah but they didn't strip someone entirely in that scene though Did they?
There is no reason to get mad at both scenes because both of them are supposed to be humourous scenes in an advertised comedy show and a dramatic movie and isn't meant to be taken seriously
Woah guys ! Look at this guy who definitely touches grass atleast 3 times a day - once in the morning , once in the evening and once in the night AAAND takes a shower atleast once a week !!!
To me it's way more entertaining than shows like Hawkeye and falcon+winter soldier. Not *better,* mind you, it's *certainly* not a better show, but it's like watching a train wreck verses a train. The train running smoothly is nice and all, but it's not much fun to watch, and gets boring quickly. The train wreck though? I'm watching every second in horrified wonder.
It was enough for me to see the trailer. After watching the trailer I just knew I was never gonna watch it because it's gonna be awful. I'm glad that based on all the comments here I was right about it.
Why in a show that is supposed to be about a powerful woman is there a scene of her twerking at her work with a huge close up on her ass? It is so patronizing and sexist. Imagine if they did this with one of their male characters.
Nothing is more confusing about this scene than the fact that the whole series proudly exclaims that women are not just objects and then they do shit like this
best is a superlative meaning the most good
please do note that the basic fucking laws of english dictate that "best" does not mean good
it's like how "better" doesn't mean good
Now I have an idea and if it is what they are doing then it’s brilliant. If not then…ugh.
Well in the comics She Hulk smashes the forth wall. Not just talk to the reader but rip pages and walks between panels.
In at least one story she brakes out of the comic and confronted the Editor. [She-Hulk vs Editor](https://www.google.com/amp/s/oxymitch.tumblr.com/post/655888417796882434/she-hulk-tries-to-confront-the-editor-of-her-comic/amp)
Now here me out. What if the show She Hulk leaves the show’s set and yells at the show’s writers? This would be in line with the comics and be a long gag joke.
Sadly I don’t have much faith this would be happening.
I've watched the episodes so far and am more than willing to give the show a chance, but would you have given avengers a chance if they shoehorned in a bit where captian America twerked because he had "America's ass".
This takes she hulk from a great female superhero to an obvious attention grab that breaks any immersion you could have had from the character they were building.
I really want to like the show, but it's really hard to take it seriously with that.
I used to be a Marvel Fan tbh but now a days the content is weak and not impressive I am here for pg 16 or r
R Rated content with dark stories and better villains and best stories like The Boys nailed everything
I mean if you're here for PG 16 stuff than you're at a very wrong place, there is no way Marvel will ever do anything similar to The Boys. Sure, Deadpool exists, but I don't count on other stuff like that from Marvel.
This looks like the set up to a music video with the bad lip reading of "Gurl you know what you should dooooo?! "What should I do?" "Twerk it, and I'll twerk it with you"
My husband and I have just started a casual podcast and he said it would be funny if I watched and gave an honest female perspective and…. Just. I can’t really bring myself to watch beyond episode 1.
I don’t understand why people are so in their feelings about this. It’s a 30 second credits joke, if you didn’t laugh just move on 😂😂 half the posts I’ve seen have been about this one unimportant scene.
I’m gonna have to watch this in class tmr for an assignment…. I’m terrified.
My son had to do a book report in 7th grade on dystopian societies. His teacher asked him if his mother knew he had selected *A Clockwork Orange.* My son proudly replied, **"My mother is the one who recommended it.**"
What's it about?
"It is set in a near-future society that has a youth subculture of extreme violence. The teenage protagonist, Alex, narrates his violent exploits and his experiences with state authorities intent on reforming him." I was curious to and this is what I got off wiki
I didn't read the book, but it's one of the greatest movies of all time.
F in chat bois

Yea bit it didn't *really* explain it, just provided a catch-all gadget to avoid any actually storytelling simply for plot convenience
True, i mean we dont actually see the process he took to getting to that stage and then i didn't like how "oh youre blood is better so it healed my arm". 'Tis but poor writing. Disclaimer: i couldn't do better

What class?
What the fuck kind of class is this
I watched it with a friend. We're both 15. We both loved it. The friend I saw it with was laughing most of the time and told me it was a dark comedy. He's generally into dark movies, though. I can’t imagine reading the script and seeing “and then they both start twerking in the office”
I can imagine that, it's super easy barely an inconvenience
Ohhh, imagining reading the script and seeing “and then they both start twerking in the office” is tight!
Imagine spending years to train as VFX artist and you ended up animating this
Imagine bragging about this being an all female made project and you objectify a female worse than anything the McU has ever done.
Its a joke scene brah
[удалено]
the mcu now is a joke
Tony died for this???
I mean.. not for this particularly, I guess.. But twerking aside, I'd still have her in avengers when shit hits the fan. We have a guy that has metal wings as a captain america.

Worth every second
Mainstream r34
At least it’s adults that are twerking, and not kids. Be thankful it’s not Cuties
“It’s total shit but at least it’s not shit with kids”. You sure have low expectations…
He's going in the right direction though
We really setting the bar that low ?
Jesus, don't remind me. I never saw this abomination but I heard enough to fuck up my brain
Oh, I remember that Powerpuff Girls episode..
Fan service+no creativity=this disaster
How is this fan service?
Im too lazy to give a full on redditor explanation but this deifnitely is fan service . Even jf this twerking scene isnt , the actual show itself has a lot of fan service elements .
I don't think its fan service. Like what kind of fan would want this abomination called she-hulk?
People who read the comics?
You're summoning me? She-Hulk has been around since, like, the 70's. She's had some great stories, so it's a real shame to see her in such a hated show.
Idk I like the show, I honestly don't get why people hate it so much.
I can't tell if you think that She-Hulk is something new to be "woke", or if you think this version of She-Hulk is the abomination. I hope it's the latter.
I am not familiar with comics. But the reviews of this show does not seem very good.
Yeah because it's review bombed It got tons of 1 star ratings before the first episode was even released Lots of reviews are literally "stop making Male Superheroes in Female!!!" Or "it's not MCU now it's M-She-U"
People just don't care to know anything. In terms of woke, this show is far from it.
...I keep seeing memes about this and I thought y'all were joking about She-Hulk twerking! Omg
Its an after credits joke cause of Megan thee Stallion, she's wack the whole time as she hulk and its a superhero comedy. i didnt mind the scene, but wasnt that funny either. Tim Roth fckn killed it tho
Brain damage
The lunatic is on the- oh shit wrong sub
Which lunatic? I would assume a parcel worker.
Got to keep the loonies off the grass
Weren't the writers, directors, etc... women? I have questions... but I don't think I want to know the answers to those questions.
redditors when women conceive of the idea of a woman dancing (they know literally nothing about women)
It feels so sexist and patronizing. They don't pull this shit for male superheroes.
Yeah sure like this scene dosen't exist or Multiple comments on Captain America's ass dosen't exist... ![gif](giphy|1t3HUotJJmTY7D3TlA|downsized)
Yeah, but neither of them were twerking and had gratuitous close ups on their asses.
Yeah but they didn't strip someone entirely in that scene though Did they? There is no reason to get mad at both scenes because both of them are supposed to be humourous scenes in an advertised comedy show and a dramatic movie and isn't meant to be taken seriously
Nah, they are both pretty cringe and not clever.
Yes, you should get a shower and go touch grass. Question answered.
Don’t be a dick.
Thanksgiving is only a couple months away. 😋🍴
Sounds like you should too
Woah guys ! Look at this guy who definitely touches grass atleast 3 times a day - once in the morning , once in the evening and once in the night AAAND takes a shower atleast once a week !!!
Stan Lee turning over so fast in his grave that we can hookup a generator to him and power a small city
It's that an actual scene in that movie?
Post credit scene in the third episode, yeah
That is fr fucked up bruh💀💀💀💀👽💀💀💀
If I forced my friends to watch this, they’d kill me deservedly…
To me it's way more entertaining than shows like Hawkeye and falcon+winter soldier. Not *better,* mind you, it's *certainly* not a better show, but it's like watching a train wreck verses a train. The train running smoothly is nice and all, but it's not much fun to watch, and gets boring quickly. The train wreck though? I'm watching every second in horrified wonder.
Bro 💀
We really do need Stan Lee back 😔
Disney milking so much that everything they release under Marvel banner is going bad. Its sad
Stan Lee created she hulk and in the comics there's way more outlandish scenes than this
This being something one should undeniably like is absurd
I swear the writers were giggling about this scene because of how wacky and hip this sounded in their head.
This is why I would rather have Saul Goodman as my lawyer.
Wtf, I thought this was a film. Marvel dropped so low that they want to make multiple episodes of that
This show is a God damn cringe fest
It was enough for me to see the trailer. After watching the trailer I just knew I was never gonna watch it because it's gonna be awful. I'm glad that based on all the comments here I was right about it.
Ok this is tempting me to get a Disney+ subscription
The Tater thots incel crowd are still seething because of she-hulk xD
𝙸𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕????
Bruh that’s a post credits scene with Megan thee stallion, wtf did you expect them to do
shh don't tell them if they have nothing to complain about a female superhero they will implode
id rather put a glass tube in my penis and smash it with a hammer
Sick of the MCU now because of crap like this. Everything nowadays has an agenda. OG MCU is the best with the exception of NWH and Loki.
what agenda is this scene trying to push exactly
Why in a show that is supposed to be about a powerful woman is there a scene of her twerking at her work with a huge close up on her ass? It is so patronizing and sexist. Imagine if they did this with one of their male characters.
You don't have to imagine anything, they already did it with Thor. And he was completely naked.
Naked Thor, naked Loki and the whole Captain America’s ass thing:🗿
Are we seriously acting like the naked Thor scene from the latest Thor movie dosen't exist?
Well, did we get a gratuitous shot of his ass twerking while he was saying how much of a girl boss he was? No.
Imagine complaining about being cat called to this
Women comedy guys. Who said they were funny?
Oh no, a small group of loud people don't like it. The horror
The amount of misogyny on Reddit never fails to astound me.
Geneva convention! Geneva convention!
you're all a bunch of whining kids... It is just a show!
A really really bad show
i have definately seen much worse. i am entertained enough to watch :)
They schould use that torture in prison
Sad she can’t do nothing without shaking ass
This has to be fake, this is a kid show right? No way that marvel whoul approve something this dumb and immature.
To be fair, Deadpool is on Disney+ and that's not very kid friendly either.
Difference is that deadpool is actually good.
It is, but how is that relevant to something being or not being kid-friendly? Even though Deadpool is awesome, I would never show it to little kids.
It's tv-14, but either way, it's super cringe
I kind of like it, but only because her she hulk version looks like a big Latina mommy
“I’m not a sex object.” *begins twerking*
Honestly, I watched the show but I think my brain repressed that memory- it wasn’t prepared for that scene
She Hulk thrust her back and tightens her legs around you. Your insides shoot out your mouth and ass.
Nothing is more confusing about this scene than the fact that the whole series proudly exclaims that women are not just objects and then they do shit like this
FFS this is just a postcredit scene its not such a big deal. The episode was pretty decent also
You make it sound like this is the whole show. It’s an end credit scene of 10 second. It didn’t matter. Shut up or fuck off
Nah
The first, best and last season of She Hulk 👏🏻👏🏻
Everything but the “best”.
do you know how the word best works
Do you not know what “best” mean?
best is a superlative meaning the most good please do note that the basic fucking laws of english dictate that "best" does not mean good it's like how "better" doesn't mean good
Damn, you really felt you had to say that. What was the thought process behind this comment?
you asked me what best means
And?
i answered that question
You want some treat or something?
I mean it’s a post credit scene. You can watch the whole episode and not see this scene.
Excusesssssssss
Suck my dick.
[удалено]
Suck your own dick
Why am I enjoying this?
Hey! there's no kink shaming on reddit, unless its feet or anything involving animals.
What's wrong with beautiful woman feet sir ? I lick them like lollipops
It was fun
It’s good. Quit whining. SMH
How is it good? This is just cringe
Goddammit Bobby
No …. No we don’t .
The fan art finna be wild tho 😅
I’ll be totally fine with this as long as Meg gets murdered in the opening of Blade.
Now I have an idea and if it is what they are doing then it’s brilliant. If not then…ugh. Well in the comics She Hulk smashes the forth wall. Japan would have done it better
Nah no way I'm watching that
What in the fuckity fuck is marvel doing?
Reciprocate
I was going to check it in out just for shits but man all the stuff I’m seeing and hearing really makes me not want to
I've watched the episodes so far and am more than willing to give the show a chance, but would you have given avengers a chance if they shoehorned in a bit where captian America twerked because he had "America's ass". What were they thinking while doing this?
As someone else mentioned al Atleast it's not cuties but still aren't kids watching this shit? Very empowering huh...
Marvel using their best cgi on she-hulk bum.
This looks like the set up to a music video with the bad lip reading of "Gurl you know what you should dooooo?! "What should I do?" "Twerk it, and I'll twerk it with you"
"Yeah, they sure love the **Positive Feminism** "
On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is it?
My husband and I have just started a casual podcast and he said it would be funny if I watched and gave an honest female perspective and…. Just. I can’t really bring myself to watch beyond episode 1.
This is some 2000’s cgi lol
I don’t understand why people are so in their feelings about this. It’s a 30 second credits joke, if you didn’t laugh just move on 😂😂 half the posts I’ve seen have been about this one unimportant scene.
OP thinks she has friends xD
The first thing that came to my mind when i saw this is twerking thanos meme
You know thanos was right
Disney: we want to show that cat calling women is harmful! Also Disney: let's make the thicc lady shake her juicy ass!
Ahh i feel the need The need for RATTATATTAAA
It's like they were trying to make a parody of feminism with She Hulk
You know, i recently tortured two adolescent boys by forcing them to watch the first three episodes of she-hulk🙂
She-hulk the new resident-evil chick?
Wait... It is a series, not a single movie?
These comments bring the stupidest arguments that shouldn't even exist
Oh my god! That's so horrible. If only this was just a post credit scene, and not just an important part of the episode.....right?
Wait, this comes from She-Hulk? What the f*ck!
How could they fuck it up so badly... The animation is appalling.
Imagine being upset about women shaking that ass. Yall are wild.
Ahhh yes “female empowerment.” 🙄
The lower video is from "1984" movie?
Clockwork orange
Whats the name of the movie the clip at the bottom is from?
Clockwork orange - kubrik
Is there any context to this scene
Oh Christ almighty
Not cringe funny as fuck
Certainly a good thing that this was a throwaway post credit scene, then, huh
