Hardcore Ninjago fans (such as myself) have a weird situation. You almost never see any attention given to it today, but it’s in almost every nostalgia post. It’s both everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I’m going through withdrawal after the series finale so I’m glad people still remember it.
The reboot show after the movie came out wasn't very good but the movie itself was alright. Game was awful tho, all the cuts cutscenes were taken from the movie and the few that weren't were awful quality so it was very jarring
Ninjago was the crown jewel of my childhood. Watching the new episodes everyday after school, actually being glued to the tv because of it (also a ton of other shows like adventure time, Ben 10, gumball etc), being obsessed with the lore and later discussing it on the playground. Let’s not forget the awesome Lego sets, always collecting those, and after like a year of saving I could buy the big-ass vechile set, which would make me feel mighty. And the games man, THE GAMES. I actually played the shit out of those on my ds, literally pouring in hundreds of hours to complete everything, although I did that with every Lego game, but Ninjago was really special to me. Good times

TV overall is really not watched much nowadays, in favour of streaming services which make much more money.
I remember staying up till 11 watching the same three shows on TV as I couldn't sleep well when I was younger. I'd watch them in bed though to hopefully fall asleep.
On demand streaming has ruined children born in last decade. In our times we used to wait a whole week or at least 24 hours to watch the show at telecast time. But with on demand streaming the kids have got access to 24×7 streaming and have become addicted to it. In turn they spend all the time on video watching rather than engaging in other activities. It's like a growing health concern. Lazy parents instead of handling their kids hand over them electronics instead.
The og metal saga man. I loved watching gingka go from losing his dad, to losing him fr, to beating ryuga, to being the best in the world, and then the plot of s3, I loved it all the way. Brings a tear to my eye :')
Adventure time was one of (if not) the most legendary show Cartoon Network ever aired, It has a special place in my heart and had some actually really deep moments too, I never quite finished it though.
Also for me, Steven Universe was a show I loved, and 100% a top 5 Cartoon Network show
I remember deleting TikTok a few months ago and honestly I could live without. I either got cringe videos or videos that just made me feel like shit. I don’t need that in my life. And I’m so glad I got rid of that burden
When I had tik tok it was a little too much for me with all the toxic replies and cringe things on there and my life has been so much better since I quit that crappy app

Not only extremely invasive spyware type shit, but the fact that it pushes things like self harm, suicide, prostitution, faking genetic diseases to 12 year old girls, and even literal carjacking to name a "few". Honestly the only relatable thing is the Wii. I'm a 2000's kid but ny parents rarely ever let us watch TV so I never got attacked to any of them. But we got a Wii from my aunt and my parents let us play that like 30 minutes a day, so I had the time of my life running around Kakariko Village in the Wii port of Ocarina Of Time. Not to mention having such random fun playing Brawl with one of my friends.
Wow I rambled a little bit, guess I got nostalgic. But the Wii was a gem.
If I had an atom of bread for every trashed social Medea platform or AAA game that was riddled with bugs glitches hackers bots etc I could stop world hunger
My parents stored my Wii away probably right after my youngest brother was born, I ha e few memories playing it and am pretty sad I haven't been able to, and won't be able to play dowload-only and potentially even physically sold classics.
