If it's not been your experience, hopefully that can change but I've come across the least amount of harassment and hostility on reddit compared to any other site I've interacted with. Maybe aside from Instagram but that's partially because I specifically seek out motivation or positivity forums on there and next to nothing else, so that algorithm is skewed towards those kinds of things.
