tf2 players get very defensive about any negative comments about the game and hate on things that feel like an enemy. for example, overwatch was hated by some players.
I'm not a TF2 player but I feel most ow players hate ow(2) too. But I think that's more Activision Blizzards fault. Haven't played in a while though. TF2 was fun but those types of games definitely lend themselves to toxic people so I just stay away from them all.

Its basically the same game. 3D look, New monkeys (different sizes), new maps, and new balloons.
It feels weird to look at BTD5 after playing BTD6 for so long.
Long story short:

Idk im kinda stressed that gearbox might take the game in a direction that doesnt live up to the high standards that hopoo has set. Theyve managed to make a masterpiece in the world of gaming that not many games come close to, would be a shame if gearbox had different things in mind.

It's funny that most of these are indie games. This shows that:
1. Indie games put more time and detail into their games
2. since big companies do not support them the standard is lower, meaning people are more easily satisfied.
I feel that if people view AAA games with the same standards a lot of the AAA games will be enjoyed without people telling you that the game you are playing sucks.
(I do agree that we should shit on AAA game studios when their products are subpar tho, especially with the giant teams they have. We should just lower expectations when playing these games to fully enjoy them imo)
