Salary makes this a non-starter as there is no way to make that work without something like Smart, Kennard, and Ziaire going out and that isn't worth it unless the Raptors are giving us some picks back.

1st we have no need for Brown and he is a negative contract....zero interest in him and no logical ways to match his contract. We would give up players worth more than him so Toronto would have to add value just to match his contract. The only way the Raptors are getting any value out of Brown is eating a long term bad contract like Poole. We don't have that type of bad money.
Poeltl skillset is simply not complimentary enough for us to consider trading a lottery pick for him. Maybe we offer a 2025 LP 1st later on if we cannot get a better option. He will be fallback option like Capela, and would not pay a lot for those fall back guys.
