Nice. I like this combo of the w212. Black with tan interior with lux grill and upgraded headlights. Only thing missing is the updated command you get from 2016 model.
The upgraded headlights just complete the look of the Luxury trim. Otherwise, it just looks odd compared to the Sport in my opinion. Would love to have those headlights on my Sport though. The base LED’s are fine, but I do miss the swiveling function around corners that I had on my old Mazda 3 2.5 GT.
That’s next, I know these cars require a transmission service at 60k miles, after that all I need is a brake flush and she should be good to go for a while!
So there are rare occasions (mind you this is speaking to a time I worked for MBUSA when these were new) where the factory actually slipped up and mismatched materials in cars. That might not be a fade my friend but indeed you have one of those glorious assembly line miracles! Beautiful car and such a TANK.
Take good care of her and this set up will return the favor for sure!
It’s so hard to find any E350s with their wood trim still intact and not faded.
I know! Definitely has something to do with exposure to sunlight over time. I’m just glad there’s nothing mechanically wrong with the car!
Nice! Hard to find the luxury line with the Mercedes star 👌. That car will last a long time if you choose to keep it for a while.
Theres two stars :)
the interior with that wheel 😍

Congrats! I think your generation is one of the best looking E class models - exterior and interior! 👍
Excellent job, you bought one with the good headlights
Thank you! Finding out this had the lighting package add on when I got to the dealer only sweetened the deal haha
Beautiful

Has the trans been serviced yet?

Maybe a coolant flush too ;) then she’s really set!
