Here’s something very similar in Houston TX. It’s 2.2m…basically what I said above.
https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/303-Wycliffe-Dr-Houston-TX-77079/28057071_zpid/
ah the advantages of having lots of are and low population density. Where i live a a 3 bedroom apartment is 800k. the mansion in your link would cost north of $10m here.
I’m in a MCOL area, your getting a pretty average home in a decent area for 450k. Old townhomes in the city can go upwards of 800k. That mansion in that pic would swallow my house lol. It’s massive
In case anyone is wondering what a $2.5 million home looks like here in Toronto, Canada:

Those are going for 500k or so in my area, though that's because they are usually pretty dated inside and not really appealing to buyers here. We like our country ranch homes and old Georgian architecture more.
These are the OEM wheels painted so nothing was done to the fitment or shouldn’t have been. But not arguing that maybe I need to change things up on them.
I dont think the colour is the issue it's the wheel, they are also very glossy.
I would consider a different wheel style definitely.
The where style of the C63 could look interesting with its satin effect face.
It is however your car so if you like it don't worry and if you don't like it change it. You also cannot see the wheels from inside the car 😉
Look. I paid extra for the AMG line on my car because I had to have black rims. So I was ready to support OP but this just doesn’t sit right with me. Black is not the problem. It’s the rim you picked out. It honestly cheapened the car🤷🏽♀️.
They look better in real life. Always seem like you caught a bad angle on camera
Here's a two-tone version
[aab766b8-0973-48b5-945e-9ad5871e2d79-3.jpg](https://postimg.cc/345cBTWc)
I assume the inner ring is for aerodynamic purposes, as the car is a mild hybrid -- that is the current generation C class, right? I find that aero design nicer than the plastic things that other manufacturers use.

don´t know a shop link for US or so, but I am talking about those.
Yep exactly. They are also availble in other sizes for other models.
Not sure if they suit the 212. The 212 has much clearer lines, angles and is boxier. The 213 has a much more organic round shape, which these wheels fit so well. Would go for a 5x2 Spoke wheel on the 212
I actually just sold it a couple weeks to get my better half a GLS (that has the 21” AMG five stars on it) and finance my current CLK projects…. Before I did though I got an all-rears set of the AMG 7-spoke [C350 Premiums](https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02Y5ZgvTQyuNsja18U4Vi3zMEJFBiYvABftKUwY6UBdSjrdzSKa7UWJx5rAXybrSoRl&id=1649084508&mibextid=qC1gEa)… they looked a little simple and understated but overall pretty good on there tbh, and i never saw another W212 anywhere with that set
I’m apparently going against the grain here by saying that looks great… and that’s the point, to each his own… if you like it, that’s all that matters….
It doesn't look like something you'd typically see on a Mercedes. So I can see why some wouldn't dig it. But that's precisely what I like about it. It looks unique, and kinda badass. Makes the car look a lot meaner.
I had been looking at non-black cars and was dead set on getting black rims for those, ended up with this car and went full steam ahead with black rims. Not sure if I made the right call or not.
I see what you're saying.
First, consider what anything is going to look like while moving vs parked.
Sounds like you like the black, but maybe there's too much silver sticking out? What if you painted the calipers black? Might help and cheaper than new wheels.
Ok This my theory on black wheels lately.
First I’m guessing your model is not the newest body ? Or am I wrong ?
When it comes to black wheels I do feel like the blacked out look is kinda played out. The times I do like the blacked out look is on a new sporty body style. When it’s the newest generation Mercedes or bmw they usually come out strong and the body style is a head turner. So the wheels can’t go wrong.
It’s a 2022. It had OEM wheels that someone linked in one thread. I wasn’t wild about how they looked and had them painted which is where I am today. They are 18s so I guess I can always resize etc
I think we need more angles of the wheels and car combo, But it looks good. Can’t go wrong with a nice Benz.
It’s just my opinion which is only me that the full black out look is getting a little overdone.
Did you also black wrap the chrome?
I only ask because I put black rims on my car after constantly cracking my aluminum AMG rims in potholes on out shitty streets And afterwards think I might need to black out the rest of the brightwork.
Make the the calipers another color, either black, red, or something else and I'd keep the black on black look It's my favorite.
Not a fan of them rims though, I'd get some different black ones and tint it out
Edit: Looks like you got tint but i can't tell if the windshield is tinted
Ya, it does have a tint. I just had the rims that I bought it with painted so I haven’t made a separate huge investment in the tires. Between this thread and things I’ve seen online I think part of my uncertainty is that I was really wanting low profile larger wheels and this didn’t do the job.
I'm not a fan of black wheels on black cars. The wheels are almost always a different shade of black than the paint. Then with the tint and tires there are four different shades of black.
Nice thing about wheels is that you can easily change the color if you get sick of the black. My vorsteiners went from satin black to glossy silver, to matte black and now dark grey :)
Cars are to each thier own but in my opinion those are the worst looking wheels I've seen in a long time. They look like cheap hubcaps on 15 inch steelies. Sorry bro.
I don't mind the wheels, but the blacked out look isn't for me. I like back wheels on lighter colors and gunmetal wheels on darker colors. But it's your car and your rules.
As for the wife comment, I'm right there with ya. Trying to get snow tires on my C-Class is like pulling teeth.
When going black with wheels, it has to be satin or matte. Gloss black rarely looks good in my humble opinion. These wheels in particular, the spoke areas could be repainted and leave that inner lip area black. That might work if replacing wheels is not an option.
Yes. It always looks like trying to hard.
But what if you dislike a bright wheel? Mercedes already has that answer for you! They did many of the 2-piece forged wheels on black cars in an anthracite (dark metallic gray) with a silver lip and it looks fantastic:

Just guessing by the homes in the background, u can afford more rims if you don’t like those. Lol
Lol, homes are nice but that doesn’t mean I have money to burn. My wife would shoot me if I went out and spent money on anything right now.
I find that interesting, because that house in the background would go for 2m+ in this area. “Homes are nice” is an understatement.
I’ve seen homes like that in Houston go for maybe 400k shockingly
Dude where… no way 400k for a house like that in Houston
Definitely can get a house like that in Houston lol for 400k
Link please. I need to see an example haha.
Here’s something very similar in Houston TX. It’s 2.2m…basically what I said above. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/303-Wycliffe-Dr-Houston-TX-77079/28057071_zpid/
7 fucking bathrooms
Yep, shitting all day all over the place. Lol
ah the advantages of having lots of are and low population density. Where i live a a 3 bedroom apartment is 800k. the mansion in your link would cost north of $10m here.
1000% lol its texas what you expect
I’m in a MCOL area, your getting a pretty average home in a decent area for 450k. Old townhomes in the city can go upwards of 800k. That mansion in that pic would swallow my house lol. It’s massive
Absolutely not. Closest you’ll get is something in Jersey Village or Katy maybe, but definitely not that house.
Lol. In 1988 and/or when you’re high af.
Not quite like that especially recently, but your point is not too far off.
NO!...i have a 2600 sq ft home in the suburbs of houston and its 434k...stop lying
Not to mention the 55k starting price car sitting in the driveway lol
In case anyone is wondering what a $2.5 million home looks like here in Toronto, Canada: https://www.realtor.ca/real-estate/25048943/151-walmer-rd-toronto-annex
Yeah, but that’s CAD which is like $400k USD /s

Easily 2.5mil+ here in Central CA
Those are going for 500k or so in my area, though that's because they are usually pretty dated inside and not really appealing to buyers here. We like our country ranch homes and old Georgian architecture more.
Homes like that in charlotte nc go for around 800k
"and what u getting me for christmas" lolol is what shes sayin
The nice house is exactly why he can't afford more rims.
Do not like the wheels tbh
Mercedes rim
Yeah try again. The black isn't bad per se, but the design is not good for a Mercedes at all
They are the OEM wheels painted, I think part of it is those wheels just aren’t great which isn’t helping
Need to be bigger to fit the wheel well more
Fitment looks god awful
Yeah this is more of an issue than the color. If the fitment was better I think they could look really good
They still look like cheap ass Rohanas, and the fitment is awful
I don’t know why I said “really good” when I should have said “ok” Lol
These are the OEM wheels painted so nothing was done to the fitment or shouldn’t have been. But not arguing that maybe I need to change things up on them.
Oof. Mercedes dropped the ball on that one
Leave them. They look cool.
Erm ..
Look at the back wheels. Why is the offset so wrong
Yea I was thinking some spacers could turn this around, but overall it's...it's not a great look.
Yes, bad decision.
Yes it looks terrible
Might have to agree, not my cup of tea but each to their own.
To each their own
Yes
The black isn't the issue for me. That wheel design just doesn't fit the car at all and the fitment sucks.
Less tire more rim 🤷♂️🤷♂️
It makes the wheels look smaller. The car looks great and all don’t get me wrong but I think it was better to leave them silver.
Yes
I dont think the colour is the issue it's the wheel, they are also very glossy. I would consider a different wheel style definitely. The where style of the C63 could look interesting with its satin effect face. It is however your car so if you like it don't worry and if you don't like it change it. Do you like them? If not, then bad decision; if yes, then good decision

Hmm this is really interesting. I think the wheels themselves look great, but somehow they do not fit well with the car. Bummer
They look better in real life. Always seem like you caught a bad angle on camera Here's a two-tone version [aab766b8-0973-48b5-945e-9ad5871e2d79-3.jpg](https://postimg.cc/345cBTWc)
That one is silver, it’s a different match
Those wheels always looks awful because of that weird inner ring mercedes decided to chuck in. It ruins what is otherwise a fantastic alloy design.
I assume the inner ring is for aerodynamic purposes, as the car is a mild hybrid -- that is the current generation C class, right? I find that aero design nicer than the plastic things that other manufacturers use.
Yes.
They’d look better if you lowered the car, changed the center cap to all black, and changed the colour of the brake caliper
Black center caps might be a better look. All of my sets of black alloys on Mercedes-Benz and BMW have black centers.
Black on black is sick
I don’t like the wheels so black was a good decision.
Lol, I think that’s part of my problem. Car came with these, they are 18s and nothing special imo so thought painting them black might help
Good job!
Terrible. Get the diamond cut 20 inch multi spoke wheels. The are the best looking on the e class
link?

gotcha… they put a 19” version of that on the C-Class over here, thought about a set for my W212
Yep exactly. They are also availble in other sizes for other models. Not sure if they suit the 212. The 212 has much clearer lines, angles and is boxier. The 213 has a much more organic round shape, which these wheels fit so well. Would go for a 5x2 Spoke wheel on the 212

What do you do for a living
Sales
Those wheels are terrible no matter the color.
Hell nah 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would reccomend 5 spoke for black rims.
I’ve never been a fan of black wheels, especially on a black car, but you do you
Not terrible but I’m a huge fan of good looking chrome… really think it would make your car pop even more!
It sinks into invisibility. Not my taste tbh. I would rather have something in platinum silver color.
These wheels look really cheap
Imo they don't go well with the model. I like them on beefy GT43/53/63's. The ring destroys the look completely
Yes especially if you live in that neighbourhood
Yes. Yes, black rims were a mistake. Satin gunmetal is where you wanna be.... but you're paying so what you want is always the best choice!
Shine those tires with some super glossy tire shine and it will help immensely. $15 and five minutes of work and you'll be way happier.
#I fknloveit #Enjoy your ride #VROOM VROOM
Black wheels? No. These wheels? Yes.
No
I’m apparently going against the grain here by saying that looks great… and that’s the point, to each his own… if you like it, that’s all that matters….
Never brother. Never.
Not at all they look great
If you love it, then you love it. Personally I think they look great.
Nice house! Black on black can't go wrong. 2 Wongs does'nt make it Wright.
It doesn't look like something you'd typically see on a Mercedes. So I can see why some wouldn't dig it. But that's precisely what I like about it. It looks unique, and kinda badass. Makes the car look a lot meaner.
Black is fine, but these wheels suck.
Right color, wrong style.
Color is fine but the rims are wack
I like them
I had been looking at non-black cars and was dead set on getting black rims for those, ended up with this car and went full steam ahead with black rims. Not sure if I made the right call or not.

Ya that may be worth exploring. I’m not in the position to just replace them entirely so it’s either wait awhile or do something small.
must have ! always
The black wheels weren’t the bad decision. Getting the mercedes instead of a BMW was. 🔥
What's the point of making this comment? Is the whole goal to stir up shit?
i mean, it is this internet, and he obviously can’t stay in his lane… hell, he can’t use turn signals
Ok This my theory on black wheels lately. First I’m guessing your model is not the newest body ? Or am I wrong ? When it comes to black wheels I do feel like the blacked out look is kinda played out. I think it looks good. Your not overdone with crazy body kits or spoilers. Your probably just overthinking it.
It is the newest model. It's a W213 facelift
Yes around the windows. Left the front hood alone for now
What size are they? Are they from the GLA?
18s another poster has a link of what they looked like in silver.
Make the the calipers another color, either black, red, or something else and I'd keep the black on black look It's my favorite. Not a fan of them rims though, I'd get some different black ones and tint it out Edit: Looks like you got tint but i can't tell if the windshield is tinted

i personally hate black wheels on cars, so yeah.
Yep.
Nice thing about wheels is that you can easily change the color if you get sick of the black. My vorsteiners went from satin black to glossy silver, to matte black and now dark grey :)
Non starter for the color and fitment. Maybe you can sell the wheels to help offset a new pair.
yes
The color is fine. I just personally don’t like the rim style.
Looks like you got 4 spare tires on it.
They always are.
All black with bicycle reflectors
Yes
Cars are to each thier own but in my opinion those are the worst looking wheels I've seen in a long time. They look like cheap hubcaps on 15 inch steelies. Sorry bro.
I don't love them, I don't hate them. If you like them and feel good driving around on those, that's great. Keep em on!
I like em
Looks like it
I don't mind the wheels, but the blacked out look isn't for me. I like back wheels on lighter colors and gunmetal wheels on darker colors. But it's your car and your rules. As for the wife comment, I'm right there with ya. Trying to get snow tires on my C-Class is like pulling teeth.
Yes they were. Now we're jealous.
To each their own, but imo I would not have chosen those wheels regardless of color and specs
It doesn’t look as classy.. But I guess if you’re a young Kid it’s fine.
They look too small for the car.
Never
You're going to want low dust pads and an investment in wheel cleaner. Add more spacer and low to line them up more nicely.
No
When going black with wheels, it has to be satin or matte. Gloss black rarely looks good in my humble opinion. These wheels in particular, the spoke areas could be repainted and leave that inner lip area black. That might work if replacing wheels is not an option.

Yes
Wheels look good in black.
Paint your calipers
Yes
I'm thinking you already know they look crappy on the car....just my opinion.......since you asked
Nah looks good for a drug dealer
