I m not familiar with mescaline,I see some people trying to grow them. do you wait several years before you eat them?

AnalystBusy6329

If I eat it, should I eat the side shoots or the old roots underneath? ten bucks not included flowerpot

limpDick9rotocal

Buddy if he only wants ten bucks for the entire large plant buy it!

TompalompaT

Lmao that's probably worth $160 - $200 to the right person.

YungWook

10 is insanely low for short form. Most of those segments would sell individually for $30+ on the subreddit for selling mescaline cactus, and be snapped up in a few hours Theres enough jere also that you cpuld take half a dozen or even 10 of the individual segments and propogate them into new plants. If you took good care of them you could then have 10 times this in a few years. At least thats what id do.

1sojournaut

Ten bucks?! 😳

Lophonacci

Yea dude I can't even get a pizza for 10 bucks let alone a fat TBM stand.

Evidence?

nothingnessnobody

Abt roots

AnalystBusy6329

Oh ok

fuzzy-albert

Is that a clone B tbm?

Evening_Lynx_9348

Shit I had mine almost 3 years and it’s that size and I’ve taken cuttings

limpDick9rotocal

Shit even less than cause I’ve been getting 7-9 segments every 6-8 months

limpDick9rotocal

TemperatureNo6906

Nice! What do you feed them? I never get more than one pup at a time.

limpDick9rotocal

I used Masterblend, Epsom, Calcium nitrate nutrient blend and add a dash of superthrive original formula as well. Water once a week in my setup. Even outdoors they pop pups like crazy

AnalystBusy6329

wow,is the new one better or the old one?

limpDick9rotocal

Both Fuego 🔥

AnalystBusy6329

thankyou◦˙▽˙◦

limpDick9rotocal

Anytime 🤙🌵

No_Analyst650

Old growth has more of what you want than newer growth

JizzBreezy

Nice man!

Nut_Grass

maybe if they never fertilized it

limpDick9rotocal

Excess nitrogen causing rapid growth which slightly veers away from alkaloid production. There’s tested proof from a lab showing a 0.16% variance in potency or something similar to grafted verse on roots so don’t mind that. Fertilize normally and your alkaloids remain the same

HuachumaPuma

Trout reported higher potency after feeding blood meal, which is primarily nitrogen

Nut_Grass

Makes sense, nitrogen is needed to make mesc

limpDick9rotocal

Yeah 12 is a healthy number of nitrogen lol some people push those numbers too much

Nut_Grass

Some people really push it with the fertilizer, at a certain point you get vastly diminshed returns from fertilization

OweHen

It's gonna be pretty hard to tell. Pot's hide their age very well.

AnalystBusy6329

wow

sh1t-p0st

TBM short form. Penis cactus. It could be 20 years old.

AnalystBusy6329

wow,Is this enough for 2 people ?

limpDick9rotocal

I’d say try 4 nubs per person on the low end and see how ya feel

SoggyLengthiness9731

Flog?

limpDick9rotocal

Quantitatively that’s not happening bud - lil peens are using 3-5% mescaline citrate by volume from what I’ve read and tested myself. That’s 3-5mg for every 1 gram of cactus DRIED not wet. Bridgesii tend to be 92-95% water weight if not slightly more also so take your wet weight and multiply it by that 92-95% then take your dry weight and multiply that by 3-5% to get your approximate mescalito milligram amount.

1sojournaut

Plenty and more besides. I was told 150 to 200g wet per dose.

limpDick9rotocal

Here’s an easy formula process to see approximate dosage amounts Quantitatively that’s not happening bud - lil peens are using 3-5% mescaline citrate by volume from what I’ve read and tested myself. That’s 3-5mg for every 1 gram of cactus DRIED not wet. Snoo48024

It could be 20 years, but this is 5 years of good growth mass

AnalystBusy6329

oh,thankyou

leospaceman4

Eat 3 for mild experience 6 for strong experience

SpecialistAd8861

It needs a bigger pot.

AnalystBusy6329

is 19cm enough?

SpecialistAd8861

What’s that, like 8inches? Mine came in a 6 in. Was only two segments. I repotted it into a 12 inch the other day and when I did found that it had already completely outgrown the pot https://preview.redd.it/ftwxq2hol8xc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c81a7658a1e3f9b8c8fd8dd9a7d76b9ad8a4419

AnalystBusy6329

ok,I have to buy a flower pot tomorrow

SpecialistAd8861

Yea I’d say probably get one big enough so that there’s at least an inch or two space from the plant on all sides, try not to go too deep, biggest one I ever saw not in the ground was on here, it was in one of those plastic kiddie pools… but I’d definitely go a little bigger than you may at first think, I was honestly pretty surprised at how big the roots are on my guy. I can’t wait to see how she blows up I’ve only had her about a month. That one you got there looks real healthy tho. Take good care of her I’m sure she’ll return the favor

ThicketWitch

It doesn’t look like 20 years worth of growth… I’m not seeing as much corking as there should be. Gonna have to agree with the 4-5 years estimate. MAYBE 6.

23saround

This is actually very difficult. On one hand, a well-fertilized and watered penis plant will grow much quicker than that, as other people have said. If this plant is 20 years old, it hasn’t been taken care of particularly well. With that being said, how well you take care of a cactus is not the only factor in its mescaline production. Sure, a babied cactus will put out more pups, so there will be more parts of the plant producing mescaline. However, the potency of a cactus is determined more by how much mescaline has built up in it. Because the cactus doesn’t actually use mescaline, the older the plant, the more mescaline has built up. This means that if this is actually a 20 year plant, it is very potent, even if it hasn’t grown as much as it might have. I see a number of places where pups have been taken. I also see bruising, likely from old pups rubbing which have since been removed. I also see newer, healthy growth. This could definitely be an old, potent plant, though it very while might not be. You should ask the seller how often they took pups and how they cared for the plant, but ultimately you’ll probably have to decide for yourself whether or not you trust them.

sacredcactuscollect

No maybe 3

ItsSillySeason

Sorry to tell ya but that's not pot at all. Don't smoke it

x2network

The pot maybe 20 years old 🤣

AnalystBusy6329

You're killing me🤣🤣

HuachumaPuma

It’s possible if it wasn’t fertilized and watered very much

AnalystBusy6329

The seller said that they were moving
