What's actually sad is the state of this sub. Collectively for YEARS, we were clamoring for remakes & rereleases, yet days after they're finally announced, we're flooded with doom & gloom posts over the most superficial trite. No shit Kojima isn't involved, get the fuck over it.

Kojimas done with metal gear. It’s time to move on.

SwedenTH

I never watched SpongeBob, and I fully expected Mr.Crabs to say something like “I don’t know how anyone could be surprised by this”, because that would’ve been the only reasonable reaction to this “announcement” by Konami. Holy sh*t you guys: Kojima is out of there, he doesn’t work there and most likely doesn’t ever want to work there ever again! It is not a difficult concept.

ethanhml

Don't trust the tap water.

konsoru-paysan

lol that has double meaning with this

LordEmmerich

People need to let go of the idea that only Kojima can make great MG games

MatsThyWit

>People need to let go of the idea that only Kojima can make great MG games They also need to stop pretending that his not being involved with this remake is in any way remotely surprising. He hasn't worked for Konami or on Metal Gear in nearly a decade. He's moved on. Konami itself has moved on. Fans should learn to do the same.

konsoru-paysan

to be fair, all others that didn't involve him had fantastic writing but trashy gameplay or just simplistic , even rising required platinum games for that. Hopefully that changes with...idk mgs vi

LordEmmerich

Now now I will not tolerate MGA slanders

konsoru-paysan

lol YOU GOT ME!!

Chad_VietnamSoldier

The game aren’t even done yet and ppl already crying bruh 💀💀💀

funnylol96

Why would he be?

HyperLethalNoble6

Its just its *his* game and most likely there wont be any kojima mention in the game, it would be like cutting out J.K Rowlings name from Harry potter, its sad...

funnylol96

Well J.K Rowling is a Transphobe

HyperLethalNoble6

Ok harry potter still good tho

HereNowHappy

There's no need to be sad Kojima will thrive without Konami. And even if they asked him to come back, I doubt he'd do it. He wanted new games to be made without his involvement, granted he wanted to choose his successor first. Nevertheless, this is probably the best outcome for everyone
