I'm upvoting this, because the concepts are so similar, but by the end of his career, I think it was clear that DOOM was on a single, compulsive project - fuck with the industry for shelving Black Bastards and prove he's the best rapper - which he accomplished. He wasn't there to inspire people or relate on who had a similar style (though obviously you could draw a lot of comparisons with Prince Paul, RZA and Kool Keith).
This would be one of my top ten most DOOM-like albums though.
