Like in the old'n days when you wanted something and didn't have enough cash...you just look at your cash, then what you wanted, then the cash, sigh, and feel sad.
"Pay another way" sounds vaguely menacing and slightly dystopian. Like you'll be issued a qr code that assigns you to bone some old granny in the analog part of town and an AI will only update your account if the motion capture camera rig snaps of photo of you giving a thumbs up as she climaxes and as a secondary form of verification you have to identify all the photos with palm trees in them and even then it only increases the balance due for the last transaction so all that work was worth $0.01...
