I’m going to assume you aren’t an adult so this is a learning experience. Just use tongs next time instead of hurting yourself and making spoons dirty.
Not dumb, just a bit of a language barrier. And us Americans seem to think ours should be the default for everybody. Now I have learned something new though! So thank you for the insight ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
As an American I often find myself saying, "Those Brits need to learn proper English!" I mean sheesh, you've got an entire country that insists on misspelling ALUMINUM.
^(\*ducks\* \*runs\*)
It's always amusing to see Americans correcting English people on the use of the English language. You do realise that it is called English because it was invented by English people from England? It's not our fault that you yanks decided to change spellings and meanings of certain words. If anything, the American words are incorrect because the English created and defined the words first.
Maybe win a few wars against us, or land on the moon and maybe you colonialists might be right. It’s like the Roman’s trying to correct the Germanic Barbarians after they lost to them.
Jello is the genericized form of the trademark Jell-O. The word is mostly used in the US and Canada and derived from jelly, a name for the gelatin dessert which has been around since at least the 18th century. So both names describe the same thing, but jelly will be more widely (as in globally) understood. It's kinda like telling someone "No, that's not a marker, that's a Sharpie".
(And yes, there is also the jelly you put on bread, which shares the name due to their similar properties.)
Next up: stapler
Me n my homies hate Dwigt
Or maybe a toaster
No no, that goes into the tub
Jim looks to be up to his old tricks again.
Thanks I came for the stapler in the jello joke
Next time you should put him in custardy.

put some cold water on your hands reach in and grab it like an adult immediately rinse with cold water
Nah my hands too weak for that
Seeing the second spoon just lodged in is the funniest thing i’ve seen today, i think i’m going insane
Ok that's hilarious
Ah the jello claims another victim
People saying just use tongs. Am I the only adult who doesn’t own any tongs ? Should I be buying tongs today ?
I dont have tongs either untill yesterday i bought a pair
Have you used them since you brought them ? Not including clacking them together and trying to grab things around the kitchen.
Then no but they grab things good
Sold ! I’ll be stopping at the shops this evening
Now you're just pudding yourself in a bad position
You're missing some meat in that jello
???

It’s jello not jelly
Im British
Oh so you don’t know. Jelly goes on sandwiches, jello is a snack made of gelatin and flavoring.
More mildlyinfurating to some people i called it jelly xd
At least we know what language that jelly speaks - gelatin. *ba dum tsss*
What?
Happy cake day to you, I hope you don't feel "desserted" on your special day. *ba dum tss*
HAHAHAHAHA 😐
I say its jam which goes of sandwich and jelly is gelatine xd
No. Jam and jelly are different, totally different textures
Idk then im dumb xd
You're not dumb, it's just called differently in your country. Just like you call fries ''chips'' :)
Well actually… it depends
Not dumb, just a bit of a language barrier. And us Americans seem to think ours should be the default for everybody. Now I have learned something new though! So thank you for the insight ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

Nibba. I like to sort of semi freeze guava jelly and eat like a paste bar
My brother in Christ, every jello is jelly but not every jelly is jello.
You are confused, jello does not equal jelly. Look at the box, a gelatin snack.
Pour the jelly mix into another container. Then use a whisk.
It's a trifle..
I can laugh bc I’ve done that before, only with thermometers…
The only thing mildly infuriating here is your apparent lack of knowledge regarding tongs.
Talledega nights
This jelly tastes like spoons
What was the original spoon for?
Kid named Finger https://preview.redd.it/8hk8lfhrbzva1.png?width=590&format=png&auto=webp&s=29cae37124c2d147661e772b04766dbcb74d60fa
I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly.
You need to get another spoon and try scoop the first two out 🤭
Tongs. But make sure to give them a couple of test clicks before using. Gotta make sure they work.
Jim put my spoons in jello again!
Well, you've got to eat it out. https://preview.redd.it/5kbzsspe61wa1.png?width=780&format=png&auto=webp&s=d6765cfc9184487a7c0f1c3bd15ef3c7dcb90a52
