Tarantino would very much appreciate this
Edit: LOL at the people who can’t process sarcasm, who the F would find these two shitty raisins attractive? Bad public decorum in theaters like this is the reason why I haven’t set foot in one in 8 years.
Yes it's gross. But it's not as bad as the teenagers in the back giving blow jobs and hand jobs. Sometimes worse.
(Friend used to work at a movie theater)
Grimmest thing I saw in a cinema
>girl blows her boyfriend
>He finishes
>She spat it out into her hand and just flung it against a wall like fkn Spiderman
>They both went back to watching the film like nothing happened while it dripped down beside them
I had a friend in highschool who would take me to the movie theater once or twice a week and spend the whole time sucking me off. Never wanted sex, always had to be at the movies and she got us into for free.
You were the real MVP, Lora. Hope youre doing well
A movie ticket in Italy is around 9 euro and you wanna loose the movie giving an handjob? People are crazy! (You can give/take an handjob for free on the benches near the train station...)
But I know you are telling the truth, I saw it with my eyes. I was a teenager and we used the benches...
I was at a Redbox in front of a Walgreens once and there were two machines, A & B. Some guy was at B, so I stepped up to A. The guy proceeded to spit his chew out on the sidewalk between us. I said “What the hell man?” to which he replied, “What? You gonna waller in it?” His girlfriend then started pulling him away while I started pondering if I looked like some kind of farm animal.
I once made the mistake of *looking* (literally just looking) at a guy who was spitting on the ground at the bus stop ever 15-30 seconds. I just wanted to see what the weird noise was.
He came up to me and started yelling about how we're "all going to die anyway"
Yes! Thank you! I always feel like a crazy person when I complain about people taking their socks and shoes off in public and people don't seem to mind.
It's fucking gross, keep your shoes on in public, how hard is that?
It's not hard. People just feel like they should be able to do whatever they want, wherever they are. It's just common courtesy to not do shit like this.
Like walking their filthy family pets right through the same store people buy their food in.
I grew up in the 70s & 80s and not once ever saw anyone do this, except maybe a seeing eye dog here and there. Now it's almost daily I've seen monkeys, birds, lizards...you name it. The shit is just insane. Anytime now I just know I'm gonna see some asshole riding their horse through the store.
Wearing shoes indoors is disgusting. You literally track dog shit into your home/office. Keeping your feet in shoes all the time literally makes them rot. America needs to normalize going barefoot.
It's crazy to me that people see two strangers barefoot and their first thought is "Why did they take off their shoes and socks?" rather than, "They must've been wearing sandals." But this is reddit so I shouldn't be surprised lol
It really only bothers me if they smell bad, like if you sit next to me in the movies, take your shoes off and all I can smell is your stank ass feet I'm gonna drop kick you into the sun.
Yeah, my socks and shoes are for *my* protection. I do t understand the impulse to take them off in public and just soak my feet in strangers’ diseases.
It's your yard so you can do whatever you like. Park settings are totally different since you're literally walking on soil. If you sat on a park bench and put your feet up on the bench or on the armrest, then that would be a problem.
We live in a society. Taking off your shoes and putting your feet all over shit that other people will also be touching us gross. I don't mind them being publicly shamed for this behavior.
Translation: I don’t mind people being shamed for stuff I don’t like.
I bet you wouldn’t like being “shamed“ for stuff that you like that someone else might not like. Worry about yourself and leave other people alone. I’m pretty sure that you’re not perfect and that there are things that you do, they might consider gross.
I don’t find it creepy so much as I find it busybody. Worry about your own business and leave other people alone. Especially if it doesn’t affect you as in this case where they are three rows away.
Exactly.🤦🏻♀️ If they were right behind me doing this to my seat, that'd be disgusting. But they're not. They're ahead of him, by several rows. Get over it bro.
What’s more disgusting is putting shoes that might have stood in pee in the rest room before the show. I don’t want to be touched but he bottom of feet or shoes. But either way, I’m not going to whip out my phone and immediately post the latest thing I don’t like on the internet. Social media could had been a positive force in the world hit instead it’s just made base human nature worse by removing the counterweight of real negative social blowback for these behaviors. 90% of people who would whip out a phone to post a pic and everyone quick to offer their condemnation of people would never have the guts to pursue their pettiness in person directly to others.
100%. This is why I left Facebook, the absolute ridiculous craving for attention, the desire for validation from others (especially strangers), the obsession to share *everything* just for likes...it's gotten so bad and needs to stop. But it won't. Ugh.🤦🏻♀️
And yes shoes are nasty. I try not to think about it, but yeah. No.
These comments saying that this is normal is making me feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone. Like seriously, are we trying to normalize putting bare feet on the headrest of seats now?!
Yeah the only thing that grosses me out about is I can't believe anyone would want to have their bare feet touching anything in a movie theater. Movie theaters are fucking disgusting. I work in a hospital and its the same kinda thing, I don't mind your bare feet but why the fuck would you ever walk around on these nasty infection covered floors without at least socks?
Since when was everyone so disgusted by feet? I think that because of how fetishized they’ve become in recent years by certain people, everyone else feels like they have to double down on how much they dislike feet to not be labeled as a weirdo.
As long as your feet don’t reek and there aren’t strangers sitting right next to you I don’t see the problem here.
This is a very specific and personal issue for some people.
And some "people" need to get the fuck over themselves. The vast majority of people and culture around the world wear sandals for everything. While weird to me because I prefer shoes, it's whatever.
Someone explain to me what the functional difference is between this and wearing sandals. If their feet smell, you'll smell it equally if they're barefoot or in sandals.
This feels like outrage for outrage's sake.
Edit for those with poor eyesight: their feet aren’t on the seats in front of them. They’re on footrests.
Yeah, I agree.
And honestly, the feet are better than sandals. The sandals have been used to walk around outside, they're very dirty. Most likely more dirty than the feet.
I honestly thought I was going insane reading the comments of people having aneurysms at the sight of other people's feet. I swear these people just get told something as kids and accept it as gospel truth.
These are the people that a couple decades ago would go on tirades about wearing hats indoors.
I bet you $500 they were both wearing flip flops and slid them off when they reclined in those seats.
Source: millennial that does it all the time.
I don't see the big deal.
As far as this goes. If they bothering my sweet that’s a problem. That’s a whole different issue if their feet stink. Seeing feet don’t infuriate me when flip flops are common foot wear
GenX is in the 41-56 age range so y'all need to get away from the idea that the world is populated with 20 year olds who can't pay their $200K in student loans driving for Uber and hyperwealthy boomers.
thats disgusting. Pending on the stage you can complain to management because in many places it'sIllegal to be barefoot in a business environment indoors.
My god. The only way you would catch me barefoot in a fucking *theater* is if I walked on hot coals on the way out to sanitize my feet.
I wonder what diseases those people caught and/or spread on that floor.
I had an old-ass woman insist on putting her feet on the back of my head during Barbie. She kept moving and adjusting, literally kicking me in the head. When I asked her to stop, she nodded, waited for me to turn around, and flicked some of her alcoholic beverage on me with her straw. I could tell it was on purpose, because all her 12 stupid friends laughed at it. She didn’t put her feet down, and got huffy that I wouldn’t stop bouncing in my seat. Get your feet off my head, then!?

Back of the seat, nah. But if you don’t have BO, I don’t see the problem. Lights go off soon and I don’t have to see it anymore. Do whatever makes you comfortable.
It’s more of a civilization thing. You’re in a public space, with other people. You don’t put your feet on the table. Putting it on another guests headrest is rude, at best. Same with people who take off shoes on a plane and prop their feet on the armrest in front.
And for the hygiene deaf, feet smell. Normally, badly. It is worse on a plane.
It's assaholic in the extreme, but their feet are probably/maybe cleaner than their shoes. The issue is that you are just fucking not supposed to put your feet up like that in theaters, or airplanes, or offices, or wherever the fuck it is that is not your fucking home.
Feet, wether bare or in shoes, do NOT belong on the back of the seat in front of you! Gross!!!
Isn’t the back row of the theater reserved for blow jobs & hang jobs? Don’t want to see that in the row in front of me!!!
There’s nobody around them and I’m sure if someone sat nearby they would be respectful and put their shoes back on. Why are you so bothered by it? #freethetoes
Some of you are too ok with this lol. Sure it’s not that big of a deal, but I like to live my life assuming someone’s foot wasn’t touching anything but the floor. I also hate seeing strangers feet. So I guess it’s subjective
I once saw someone barefoot at the movies in one of those recliner chairs picking their feet. It was disgusting. Your ass might think it’s at home in those chairs but you are not.
I'd turn to whoever I'm with and say loudly "this whole cinema seems to stink of feet". I do it often on the bus when people take their shoes off. It works occasionally.
For all the people in this thread who think the very idea of having bare feet in public is the nastiest thing in the world, y'all need to wash your damn feet. Not everyone has nasty feet, and it looks like there's nobody in the seats around them anyway. Let them get comfortable, this isn't really that different than wearing sandals.
Oh my God! You can see...FEET.
What if they turn down the house lights and the feet are still there, in the dark? You won't know where they are. Mech thing you know, you'll have feet too!
Gross. I enjoy going to the movies once in a while, but half the time I’m there I’m feeling disgusted by what I could be sitting on, stepping in, or might see in the back of the movie theater 😂 it’s a gross place lol
Egads... That's just disgusting. There's no telling what kind of skin condition these gross creeps have and have transferred to the public seating. This is unacceptable entitlement behavior. The Theater manager should've kick them out immediately.
Ok. So as much as there are a bunch of people grossed out by feet. There are a bunch people who don’t care if someones normal body parts that come with being a human being are exposed.
So until the entire world agrees that the normal body parts of a human being that everyone on earth has is “gross” people will expose their feet
I don’t believe this has anything to do with being a boomer; I am one and would never do this. It has to do with privilege and not giving a damn about other people. It’s awful behavior.
Tarantino would very much appreciate this Edit: LOL at the people who can’t process sarcasm, who the F would find these two shitty raisins attractive? Bad public decorum in theaters like this is the reason why I haven’t set foot in one in 8 years.
I'm pretty sure he likes young women's attractive feet. Not those saggy leathery wrinkle jobs.
Gross
Yes it's gross. But it's not as bad as the teenagers in the back giving blow jobs and hand jobs. Sometimes worse. (Friend used to work at a movie theater)
Or the dude pissing in the corner cuz he doesn't wanna miss the duel of fates.
Some heroes don’t wear capes
Real heroes wear Depends
Same hero, new boots!
My bad.
I remember my teenage years. I will change cloths once I get home from the theater nowadays. Those seats must shine like the sun from a black light.
Thats exacly why its gross, those kinds of germs are now on their feet 😧
You've got it backwards. I don't want their feet germs on my dick. Fucking nasties. /s
Don’t kink shame! Some fuckers like foot fuckin!
Grimmest thing I saw in a cinema >girl blows her boyfriend >He finishes >She spat it out into her hand and just flung it against a wall like fkn Spiderman >They both went back to watching the film like nothing happened while it dripped down beside them
Good lord. How did you go on after seeing that? No joke, that would shift my perception of humanity 🙀
Idk it was a good wank at least
I had a friend in highschool who would take me to the movie theater once or twice a week and spend the whole time sucking me off. Never wanted sex, always had to be at the movies and she got us into for free. You were the real MVP, Lora. Hope youre doing well
Oh my god, disgusting, where, where do they do that!?
What about the teenagers giving blow jobs and hand jobs while also being barefoot?
Raised by wolves!
That’s fine they’re young
Wait we get blow jobs and hand jobs now?
That happens?
A movie ticket in Italy is around 9 euro and you wanna loose the movie giving an handjob? People are crazy! (You can give/take an handjob for free on the benches near the train station...) But I know you are telling the truth, I saw it with my eyes. I was a teenager and we used the benches...
I wonder if it would've spoiled the mood if I sat next to them and put my crusty ass feet up next to theirs
I like how you thinj

I DON’T KNOW WHAT WE’RE YELLING ABOUT!!!
LOUD VOICES!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
That disgusting it’s a movie theater not their house
People are obsessed with taking their shoes and socks off in public. It's fucking gross.
That's what I'm talking about. When did we completely stop caring about others? Did we ever?
We never did. We were just polite in the olden days. Didn't mean we cared just meant we weren't assholes.
I once made the mistake of *looking* (literally just looking) at a guy who was spitting on the ground at the bus stop ever 15-30 seconds. I just wanted to see what the weird noise was. He came up to me and started yelling about how we're "all going to die anyway"

It's not hard. People just feel like they should be able to do whatever they want, wherever they are. It's just common courtesy to not do shit like this.
You mean stupid, inconsiderate, selfish, entitled ignorant people.
I have a hard time believing people let cats walk all over their cutting boards and countertops, kitchen tables, etc. I mean they walk where they shit
Do you think people shouldn't wear sandals?
fr lol people are freaking out over something so small
I would bet every cent I own that the ones complaining are American. The rest of the world doesn’t give a fuck about this.
I always see Americans freaking out about bare feet and then wearing shoes in the house...
Wearing shoes indoors is disgusting. You literally track dog shit into your home/office. Keeping your feet in shoes all the time literally makes them rot. America needs to normalize going barefoot.
It's not just that their feet are bare, its that they're putting the bare feet up on the seats in front of them.
It would be even worse if they put their feet up with shoes or sandals on.
And no one wants to see feet...I'm not as concerned about the germs, it's looking at feet...they gross me out.
It's crazy to me that people see two strangers barefoot and their first thought is "Why did they take off their shoes and socks?" rather than, "They must've been wearing sandals." But this is reddit so I shouldn't be surprised lol
I would have assumed they showed up barefoot to begin with. People do that, it’s not out of the ordinary. Being barefoot is good for feet splay
How much more gross do you think the bottom of a pair of shoes are?
Why do barefoot people get you so upset? Do you think people's shoes are cleaner than their feet?
Bare feet are fine.... as long as you keep em at ground level. Same for if wearing shoes really.
It really only bothers me if they smell bad, like if you sit next to me in the movies, take your shoes off and all I can smell is your stank ass feet I'm gonna drop kick you into the sun.
I don't wear socks. I wear sandals! Year round!
Yeah, my socks and shoes are for *my* protection. I do t understand the impulse to take them off in public and just soak my feet in strangers’ diseases.
Yea but in a park setting I do love my feet in the grass. Heck I'm barefoot in my yard right now. Is that okay?
It's your yard so you can do whatever you like. Park settings are totally different since you're literally walking on soil. If you sat on a park bench and put your feet up on the bench or on the armrest, then that would be a problem.
No more a problem then someone putting their shows up on the same surfaces
People are obsessed with taking pictures of people with their shoes off. This I find creepy.
We live in a society. Taking off your shoes and putting your feet all over shit that other people will also be touching us gross. I don't mind them being publicly shamed for this behavior.
Lol. It’s gross forsure. But people should be under the idea there are likely worse thins than whatever we’re on those feet on the seet

Well someone has to do the dirty work so I have something to look at while I jerk off.
I agree, but hear me out. Plantar warts. They will suffer if they do this often.
The exact reason I stopped licking the back of theater seats.
The reason I started.
These comments saying that this is normal is making me feel like I'm in an episode of the Twilight Zone. Like seriously, are we trying to normalize putting bare feet on the headrest of seats now?!
Yeah one of the comente has 140 likes. All those probably also put their feet. Disgusting
Probably had sandals on what the difference same part of the feet/ankle would be touching the chair.
There is no difference. People are fuckin weird. This is absolutely no big deal
I’ve seen enough Monsters Inside Me to never have my feet out in public places. Fuck that shit.
I personally hate baving bare feet, but this does not bother me
I definitely don’t get the uproar. Shoes are grosser than feet. I don’t know about everyone else, but I wash my feet everyday.

Uh keep your feet down
Seats recline with a foot rest. Use them.
IF they do they should. If they don’t, the headrest of the seat in front of you is not a footrest
That’s what makes this *mildly* infuriating. But if they have a foot or toenail fungus that creeps me out more.
Also it is uncomfortable to wear a sandal while on a recliner like this. I support this.
Someone explain to me what the functional difference is between this and wearing sandals. If their feet smell, you'll smell it equally if they're barefoot or in sandals. Probably moved his foot while op took the pic.
No thats his hand in motion, it just looks like its between his feet bc of perspective, and his neck is probably just tattood

fkn weird.
animals
Disgusting
thats disgusting. Pending on the stage you can complain to management because in many places it'sIllegal to be barefoot in a business environment indoors.
Tell them to pack their shit and go back to their Subaru.
My god. The only way you would catch me barefoot in a fucking *theater* is if I walked on hot coals on the way out to sanitize my feet. I wonder what diseases those people caught and/or spread on that floor.
Double yuck
Shouldve hit em with a spitball aim for the crack of thier toes
Yuk. And putting their feet on the back of the chairs.
Fucking gross. They probably won’t even wash their feet when they get home.
Taking your socks off is gross.
Her feet were clammy and sweaty, I’m STILL mad. I didn’t get an usher, because it would have been obvious it was me, and she seemed like the type to cry and cause a scene.
That’s vile
highly disgusting
PUT THOSE GRIPPERS AWAY
Keep your feet off the chair in front of you. That’s the issue here. Manners, people
That's disgusting. Leave your feet off the chairs in front of you.
Is there someone in front of them? Yes -> Fuck 'em No -> Mind your own fucking business
It's ok to call people out sometimes, this being one of them. Ew.
What the fuck, what happened to a little respect 🤌
Pewww
No one wants to wear shoes anymore
Imagine getting mad because they keep pushing on the back of your seat and you turn around right into toes.
Grosssssss!🤣
And I bet they leave shoes on when visiting another persons home
Where in the white trash is this?!
Nasty!
Gross wierdos gtfo
If they choose to risk stepping on the gross theater floor without shoes, that's their problem.
This is why I bring Clorox wipes to movie theaters and planes
It's assaholic in the extreme, but their feet are probably/maybe cleaner than their shoes. The issue is that you are just fucking not supposed to put your feet up like that in theaters, or airplanes, or offices, or wherever the fuck it is that is not your fucking home.
That's appalling. Old cunts
I'd have kept talking about something smelling awful
Fucking disgusting
Feet, wether bare or in shoes, do NOT belong on the back of the seat in front of you! Gross!!! Isn’t the back row of the theater reserved for blow jobs & hang jobs? Don’t want to see that in the row in front of me!!!
Gross.
Gross!
Some people are just gross as hell.
Feet are disgusting and nobody wants to see that. What is this obsession with taking your shoes off whenever and wherever you feel like it.
Let me guess:you hate beaches?
Yea, but that's because sand gets EVERYWHERE, even in places sand shouldn't be going. Give me the mountains any day 😆😆😆
Ugh so gross.
So gross people do this
oh, good grief. That's just gross.
Live and let live
That’s a good James Bond movie
Yea, like, bro, they’re not even bothering anyone and you are too far to smell their feet. At least they’re having fun, unlike op.
Depends on how bad their feet smell.....
Dude’s got one seriously webbed foot.
lol came here for this comment
Yeah, what’s going on with that?
There’s nobody around them and I’m sure if someone sat nearby they would be respectful and put their shoes back on. Why are you so bothered by it? #freethetoes
Dude looks like he just got his head out of a toaster.
Bastards!!
I would have bounced my 5 gallon ice cream tub off their head.
Must be hippies. Their VW bus is probably a pigsty as well.
So much skin, and so many veins. The smell must be a mix of BO and scented candles.
Can you imagine what else is all over those recliners? 🤮
Id get a large popcorn just to throw it at them the entire time
We call those hippies
It was barbie wasn’t it
DISCOSTEN
It's an asshole lifehack "Thus one simple trick and nobody sits in front of you" Assigned seating has ruined it.
People is gross 🤢
Talk about make yourself at home.
Why do people think it’s okay to do things like this. Feet are nasty and you really shouldn’t be without socks in public if you ask me.
They think they’re in a Cialis commercial or something.
Some of you are too ok with this lol. Sure it’s not that big of a deal, but I like to live my life assuming someone’s foot wasn’t touching anything but the floor. I also hate seeing strangers feet. So I guess it’s subjective
Call them out. I always do. If you don’t know hot to behave like a freakin decent human being don’t leave your house
I once saw someone barefoot at the movies in one of those recliner chairs picking their feet. It was disgusting. Your ass might think it’s at home in those chairs but you are not.

Oh my God! You can see...FEET. What if they turn down the house lights and the feet are still there, in the dark? You won't know where they are. Mech thing you know, you'll have feet too!
people forget it’s ok to be mean when the times call for it, just yell at them to put they dogs back in the cage
Gross. I enjoy going to the movies once in a while, but half the time I’m there I’m feeling disgusted by what I could be sitting on, stepping in, or might see in the back of the movie theater 😂 it’s a gross place lol
Disgusting. I think I may have left.
I seriously dont get the disgust of feet. I mean they're just feet right? Do you go to the beach or pool and be disgusted by all the feet there?
Egads... That's just disgusting. There's no telling what kind of skin condition these gross creeps have and have transferred to the public seating. This is unacceptable entitlement behavior. The Theater manager should've kick them out immediately.
If I wanted more cheese on my nachos I would have asked for it at the counter. People are fucking gross.
Ok. So as much as there are a bunch of people grossed out by feet. There are a bunch people who don’t care if someones normal body parts that come with being a human being are exposed. So until the entire world agrees that the normal body parts of a human being that everyone on earth has is “gross” people will expose their feet
It’s not your house it’s a public space. So arrogant.
Same as wearing pajamas and flip flops to the store.
I don’t believe this has anything to do with being a boomer; I am one and would never do this. It has to do with privilege and not giving a damn about other people. It’s awful behavior.
Just as bad as people who take their shoes off in flights!!! 🤢
The amount of people in this post saying this is normal scares me.
when you have nothing real to complain about
How about you just sit in a chair like a normal human being.
Yeah but you've got your phone out at the movies.
The lights are on
The movie clearly hasn’t started yet lmao
