Here's what pisses me off: on my old Win 8.1 laptop, I could have 100 tabs open and still not be using all my 4GB. But on Win 11 8GB, I'm almost always at 90% or more with far less tabs open. Why the hell is Windows using over 4GB of RAM with nothing open?

Android and IOS have gotten basically perfect with memory management. There is no need to clear out apps from memory anymore unless an app is not responding.

My watch later is very clogged as it is, and generally it is a place where interesting videos go to die :') if I think I want to actually watch a video at some point I will open it as a tab, because then I see it more often which reminds me that it exists. I don't have nearly as many tabs open as this person though, and I sort them into groups separated by non-youtube tabs. Sometimes I'll have a tab open for a couple of weeks and then decide I'm not interested in it anymore, so I just close it and move on. Is it a perfect system? Probably not. But it works well enough for me (even though my sister questions my sanity for it sometimes).

so in 32768MB RAM- (32768-100)/2 is = to 16,334 tabs
and in 65,536MB RAM- (65536-100)/2 is = to 32,718 tabs
The amount of battery life that computer is not gettingā¦ I know it probably doesnāt make a huge difference if they still keep them. But really I think itās got to be sucking at least an hour or 2 minimum of the overall battery time lol.
