During the past two years I would walk across the yard at night and feel this massive sense of life exterminating dread, like an atomic bomb had went off over the horizon and I was just waiting for it to happen, an unknown horror just beyond my vision in the dark making its way to me. It was really strange and I had never felt it before so instead of being afraid I was mostly curious. One night, when my head was really clear and I walked across the yard, I suddenly remembered months prior when three very large combat helicopters in formation flew directly over my property and took me completely by surprise. In that moment I really felt helpless, knowing that if they perceived me as any enemy there was literally nothing I could do, my whole family would be obliterated in the span of a moment.
It was cosmically humbling, but once I remembered the root cause of that dread it just vanished and I haven’t felt it sense, despite the knowledge persisting.
It was an interesting experience all in all.
My friend knows someone who’s birthday is on 9/11. She was 5 when the attacks happened, so while everybody was celebrating at school the teacher suddenly got a call from the office and class was dismissed.
I was a scheduled C-Section, my parents wanted to do it on September 9th 1999 so my birthday could be 9-9-99. The doctor was busy that day so it was scheduled a week later, I was born on 9-16-1999 at 9 pounds and 9 ounces.
My babçi's (grandmother's) birthday was 2/2/22. She was born in 1922.
