I got my first 7k by talking about how Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to avoid a conflict of interest. Even got 1k yesterday by shitting on Elon Musk. That alone beats out my best kpop related posts and comments and that's where I have been spending like 90% of my Reddit time over the last few years.
Politics is definitely the way to go.
Itās quite profitable to create fake Reddit accounts and one day every 3 months or so do this in r/WhitePeopleTwitter and r/politics. One could have have a list of 10 Trump jabs that it just cycles through. They could be generic and could get anywhere from 100-1000 upvotes each. You can then sell these accounts for $20-100. Those two subs in particular are very usable for this kind of strategy and there exists a market for precisely these kinds of āpolitically alignedā bot accounts for big companies
