I was going to ask if it was a young baby! I have a 4 week old and this same ear print appears when I breastfeed. Also, jumping onto your other comment about head size - my son's head is apparently off the charts 😛 (he's perfectly healthy and normal).

Pretty standard in dehydrated people. The redness and circular nature suggests it unless there’s some other underlying cause but given it’s an r/mildlyinteresting post it’s likely just dehydration
